Abstract

This study supposes to know the different expression of the students when they showing apologizing and also analyze more deeply about their culture background. It is affected their apologizing expression or not. It analyzed by descriptive qualitative approach with 19 students from different culture as participant in Postgraduate State University of Semarang. The results of analysis are; every culture differs from each other in their politeness of showing apologizing even though not really significant. Different background of culture is one of the important things that make people differ in particular expression.Key words: politeness, apologizing, expression, and expressive speech act.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pada hakikatnya, realisasi prinsip kesantunan digunakan untuk menunjukkan citra baik aparatur desa sebagai orang yang santun di tengah masyarakat. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, aparatur desa mengendalikan percakapan dengan cara mengatur pola tutur, memberikan, mengambil giliran tutur, mengatasi penyimpangan, dan mengatasi kesalahpahaman.  Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggunanaan kesantuanan tindak tutur penyelesaian konflik sosial penanganan covid-19. Penelitian kesantunan ini merupakan salah satu penelitian dalam kajian sosiopragmatik. Sesuai dengan pandangan tersebut, penelitian ini tergolong penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan hal-hal sebagai berikut: (1) persiapan pengumpulan data, (2) teknik observasi, dan (3) teknik wawancara. Analisis. Hasil peneltian menunjukkan bahwa aparatur desa bajur merealisasikan enam maksim kesantunan untuk menyelesaikan masalah konflik sosial penanganan covid-19. Keenam maksim tersebut yaitu, yakni maksim kebijaksanaan, maksim kedermawanan, maksim penghargaan, maksim kesederhanaan, maksim permufakatan atau kecocokan, dan maksim kesimpatian. Keenam maksim tersebut sangat erat kaitannya dengan jiwa besar seorang pemimpin yang patut diteladani dan dihormati dalam bertutur sehingga permasalahan dalam masyarakat dapat terselesaikan dengan baik dan pemimpin tersebut dikategorikan sebagai seorang yang santun. Selain itu, keenam maksim tersebut cocok untuk diterapkan di tengah masyarakat pedesaan dalam menciptakan keharmonisasian antar warga masyarakat dan tokoh masyarakat.   Abstract: In essence, the realization of the principle of politeness is used to show a good image of the village apparatus as a polite person in the community. To achieve this goal, village officials control the conversation by regulating speech patterns, giving, taking turns, overcoming deviations, and overcoming misunderstandings. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of politeness speech acts to resolve social conflicts in the handling of COVID-19. This politeness research is one of the studies in sociopragmatic studies. In accordance with this view, this research is classified as a qualitative descriptive study. The data collection in this study relates to the following matters: (1) preparation of data collection, (2) observation techniques, and (3) interview techniques. Analysis. The results of the study show that the Bajur village apparatus realizes the six maxims of politeness to solve the problem of social conflict in handling COVID-19. The six maxims are the maxim of wisdom, the maxim of generosity, the maxim of appreciation, the maxim of simplicity, the maxim of agreement or compatibility, and the maxim of sympathy. The six maxims are closely related to the great spirit of a leader who should be imitated and respected in speaking so that problems in society can be resolved properly and the leader is categorized as a polite person. In addition, the six maxims are suitable to be applied in rural communities in creating harmony between community members and community leaders.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pelatihan dramatisasi puisi ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mempertahankan eksistensi sastra dan budaya di tengah benturan budaya asing yang secara perlahan menggerus nilai lokalitas suatu budaya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan di SMP Nurul Ittihad Jonggat Kabupaten Lombok Tengah dengan metode praktik, yakni melakukan dramatisasi puisi dengan teori serta langkah-langkah yang telah dipaparkan dan dilakukan dalam lima kali pertemuan. Pertemuan 1, dijelaskan tentang definisi, genre serta fungsi puisi dan dramatisasi puisi; pertemuan 2, dijelaskan tentang parafrase, apresiasi dan ekranisasi puisi dan mulai latihan; pertemuan 3, bedah naskah dan pemilihan pemain, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan latihan; pertemuan 4, dilanjutkan kembali ke latihan dengan materi pendalam karakter; dan pertemuan 5 dilakukan pementasan. Tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat dapat memaparkan, bahwa sebelum tim terjun untuk lelakukan kegiatan ini, sekolah mitra mengalami kesulitan dalam proses apresiasi puisi dan ekranisasi. Setelah dilakukan pelatihan maka siswa-siswi dapat melakukan tahap yang ditargetkan dengan mudah hingga pada proses pementasan berakhir.Abstract: This poetry dramatization training was carried out with the aim of maintaining the existence of literature and culture amidst the clash of foreign cultures which slowly erodes the local value of a culture. This service activity was carried out at Nurul Ittihad Jonggat Middle School, Central Lombok Regency using a practical method, namely dramatizing poetry with theory and steps that had been explained and carried out in five meetings. Meeting 1, explained the definition, genre and function of poetry and poetry dramatization; meeting 2, explained about paraphrasing, appreciation and ecranization of poetry and started practicing; meeting 3, script review and cast selection, then continued with rehearsals; meeting 4, continued back to training with in-depth character material; and at meeting 5 there was a performance. The community service team was able to explain that before the team took part in carrying out this activity, the partner school experienced difficulties in the poetry appreciation and ecranization process. After training, students can carry out the targeted stages easily until the performance process ends.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out with the aim that teachers are able to compile and develop textbooks. This PKM program was held at MAN 1 West Lombok. This PKM program was carried out for 3 (three) days. The method of implementing activities used in the community service program is training (coaching) accompanied by mentoring. This PKM program was carried out by 3 lecturers and assisted by 3 students. Based on the results of the implementation of activities, it can be described that after the service is carried out, the ability of teachers to compile and develop textbooks has increased. This can be seen from the teacher's test results before and after the activity. Before the training, out of 30 training participants, 15 people were able to answer correctly and the rest answered incorrectly or in other words before the activity was carried out the percentage of teacher ability was only 50%, after the PKM activity, the teacher's ability increased to 100%. In addition, the ability of teachers to develop textbooks has been seen from the results of the teacher's work through the assistance of lecturers implementing activities.

Abstract

Abstrak SMP Birrul Walidain NWDI Rensing Kecamatan Sakra Barat Kabupaten Lombok Timur yang bertujuan agar mengenal Media Pembelajaran PopUp Book serta dapat menerapkannya dalam proses pembelajaran agar lebih efektif dan efisien.Metode kegiatan meliputi empat tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pengenalan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Tahap persiapan meliputi pembuatan sampel, dan pendataan peserta pelatihan. Tahap pengenalan meliputi penyampaian materi terkait pengenalan alat danbahan serta Teknik pembuatan Pop Up Book. Tahap pelaksanaan meliputi penyusunan RancanganPembuatan Media Pembelajaran, praktik pembuatan Pop Up Book, dan mempresentasikan hasil Pop Up Book. Tahap evaluasi yaitu finishing Pop Up Book, presesntasi Pop Up Book, dan refleksi penyusunan proyek. Hasil capaian peserta pelatihan adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan peserta dengan rata-rata lebih dari 60% pada setiap kegiatan pokok. Manfaat yang dirasakan oleh peserta diantaranya peserta mampu dan terampil dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran berupa Pop Up Book yang sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran Kata kunci: literasi; pemebelajaran; pop up book. Abstract The mentoring activity of making Pop Up Books for teachers of SMP Birrul Walidain NWDI Rensing, Sakra Barat District, East Lombok Regency, aims to introduce PopUp Book Learning Media and be able to apply it in the learning process to make it more effective and efficient. The activity method includes four stages, namely the preparation stage, the introduction stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The preparation stage includes making samples, and collecting data on training participants. The introduction stage includes delivering material related to the introduction of tools and materials and Pop Up Book making techniques. The implementation stage includes preparing the Learning Media Making Design, practicing making Pop Up Books, and presenting the results of the Pop Up Book. The evaluation stage is finishing the Pop Up Book, presenting the Pop Up Book, and reflecting on the preparation of the project. The results of the training participants' achievements are an increase in participant knowledge with an average of more than 60% in each main activity. The benefits felt by the participants include participants being able and skilled in making learning media in the form of Pop Up Books that are in accordance with the learning material. Keywords: literacy; learning; pop up book.

Abstract

Abstrak SMA Negeri 1 Labuapi Kecamatan Labuapi Kabupaten Lombok Barat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam membaca, memahami, dan mengamalkan isi Al-Qur'an. Program literasi Al-Quran menumbuhkan budaya membaca Al-Quran di kalangan peserta didik dan didukung oleh kurikulum yang tepat agar berjalan efektif serta mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan. Metode pembelajaran yang bervariasi seperti pembelajaran aktif, diskusi kelompok, dan studi kasus, digunakan untuk meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman siswa. Pendampingan program ini melibatkan integrasi ke dalam kurikulum reguler dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Hasil dari program literasi Al-Qur'an diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan kebiasaan membaca Al-Qur'an dan meningkatkan minat baca peserta didik. Literasi Al-Qur'an juga diharapkan dapat membentuk kecerdasan spiritual siswa. Penelitian ini mengkaji aspek-aspek penting dalam pengembangan kurikulum, seperti tujuan, isi, strategi pembelajaran, sumber daya, dan evaluasi. Kata kunci: literasi Al-Quran; pemebelajaran; kurikulum Abstract SMA Negeri 1 Labuapi, Labuapi District, West Lombok Regency which aims to improve students' abilities in reading, understanding and practicing the contents of the Al-Qur'an. The Al-Quran literacy program fosters a culture of reading the Al-Quran among students and is supported by an appropriate curriculum so that it runs effectively and achieves the expected goals. Various learning methods, such as active learning, group discussions, and case studies, are used to increase student interest and understanding. Implementation of this program involves integration into the regular curriculum and extracurricular activities. The results of the Al-Qur'an literacy program are expected to foster the habit of reading the Al-Qur'an and increase students' interest in reading. Al-Qur'an literacy is also expected to shape students' spiritual intelligence. This research examines important aspects in curriculum development, such as objectives, content, learning strategies, resources, and evaluation. Keywords: literacy Al-Quran; learning; curriculum.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Observasi dan analisis menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak mahasiswa calon guru yang memiliki keterbatasan dalam penguasaan teknologi pendidikan serta kurangnya kepercayaan diri dalam mendesain media pembelajaran digital. Hal ini menjadi kendala dalam memenuhi tuntutan kompetensi abad ke-21 dan implementasi program Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang menekankan pada kemandirian dan inovasi digital. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam bidang teknologi pendidikan melalui pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis IT. Sasaran kegiatan adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah coaching, dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan praktik langsung menggunakan platform seperti Canva, Wordwall, Padlet, dan Google Slides. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam penguasaan teknologi pendidikan, kreativitas, serta kepercayaan diri mahasiswa dalam mendesain media pembelajaran digital. Setiap peserta berhasil menghasilkan produk berupa media pembelajaran interaktif yang telah divalidasi dari sisi konten, desain visual, dan kesesuaian pedagogis. Selain itu, terbentuk pula komunitas praktisi mahasiswa yang secara mandiri melanjutkan kolaborasi dan berbagi praktik baik melalui media sosial, sejalan dengan tuntutan program Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang mendorong pengembangan kompetensi digital calon guru. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan berbasis coaching dengan integrasi teknologi edukatif mampu memberdayakan mahasiswa secara optimal dan mendorong terciptanya inovasi pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan relevan dengan kebutuhan abad ke-21. Kata kunci: pelatihan; media pembelajaran interaktif; literasi digital; mahasiswa; teknologi Pendidikan; ABSTRACT The analysis indicates that many pre-service teacher students still face limitations in mastering educational technology and lack confidence in designing digital learning media. These challenges hinder their ability to meet the demands of 21st-century competencies and the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, which emphasizes autonomy and digital innovation. This community service activity aims to enhance students’ competencies in educational technology through training on the development of interactive, IT-based learning media. The target participants were students from the Indonesian Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram. The training employed a coaching method with a participatory approach and hands-on practice using platforms such as Canva, Wordwall, Padlet, and Google Slides. The outcomes of the activity showed a significant improvement in students’ mastery of educational technology, creativity, and self-confidence in designing digital learning media. Each participant successfully produced an interactive learning media product that was validated in terms of content, visual design, and pedagogical relevance. Furthermore, a student practitioner community was established, which continues to engage in collaborative efforts and share best practices independently through social media. This aligns with the goals of the MBKM program, which encourages the development of digital competencies among future educators. This initiative demonstrates that coaching-based training integrated with educational technology can effectively empower students and foster the creation of innovative learning models that are contextual and aligned with 21st-century educational needs. Keywords: training; interactive instructional media; digital literacy; students; educational technology

Abstract

ABSTRAKSektor perikanan memegang peranan krusial dalam menopang perekonomian masyarakat pesisir di Indonesia, termasuk di Desa Mapak Indah, dengan potensi sumber daya alam yang melimpah, khususnya ikan, membuka peluang besar bagi pengembangan usaha pengolahan seperti ikan asap. Namun, potensi ini seringkali belum tergarap optimal karena keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam manajemen usaha, terutama terkait keberlanjutan. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan manajemen usaha melalui pengembangan usaha ikan asap yang berkelanjutan di Desa Mapak Indah. Metodologi program ini melibatkan 18 peserta ibu-ibu pelaku UMKM ikan asap dan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 17 Mei 2025 di Desa Mapak Indah, Mataram, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup identifikasi permasalahan dan kebutuhan mitra, pelatihan manajemen usaha dan keuangan, penerapan teknologi pengasapan yang ramah lingkungan, pelatihan pemasaran dan branding produk, serta pendampingan dan monitoring berkala. Tahapan kegiatan dilakukan oleh Tim dari pelatihan proses pengolahan ikan asap yang baik dan tepat, dan dilanjudkan dengan pendampingan manajeman usaha yang sesuai dengan kondisi masyarakat. Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta, dengan rata-rata skor pengetahuan meningkat dari 65 menjadi 80. Selain itu, rata-rata penjualan UMKM meningkat sebesar 30% dalam tiga bulan setelah pelatihan. Sebanyak 80% ibu-ibu pelaku UMKM berhasil membuka lapak fisik, dan rata-rata pendapatan bulanan mereka meningkat dari Rp 400.000 menjadi Rp 700.000 dalam satu minggu setelah pendampingan.Kata kunci: Manajemen Usaha; Ikan Asap; Berkelanjutan. ABSTRACTThe fisheries sector plays a crucial role in supporting the economy of coastal communities in Indonesia, including in Mapak Indah Village. Its abundant natural resources, especially fish, open up significant opportunities for developing processing businesses like smoked fish. However, this potential often remains underutilized due to limited knowledge and skills in business management, particularly regarding sustainability. This community service program aims to provide business management training and mentoring through the development of sustainable smoked fish businesses in Mapak Indah Village. The program's methodology involved 18 women participants who are micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) owners in the smoked fish sector. It was carried out on May 17, 2025, in Mapak Indah Village, Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara. The implementation methods included identifying partners' problems and needs, business and financial management training, implementing eco-friendly smoking technology, product marketing and branding training, and regular mentoring and monitoring. The stages of the activity are carried out by the Team from training on the proper and correct process of processing smoked fish, and continued with assistance in business management that is in accordance with community conditions. The program's results showed an increase in participants' knowledge and skills, with the average knowledge score rising from 65 to 80. Additionally, the average MSME sales increased by 30% within three months after the training. A significant 80% of the women MSME owners successfully opened physical stalls, and their average monthly income increased from Rp 400,000 to Rp 700,000 within one week of receiving mentoring.Keywords: Business Management; Smoked Fish; Sustainable.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Perkembangan literasi sastra di kalangan peserta didik masih terbilang rendah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain minimnya akses terhadap bahan bacaan sastra yang berkualitas, kurangnya pelatihan keterampilan menulis kreatif, serta belum optimalnya pendekatan pembelajaran sastra di kelas. Dalam konteks ini, pembelajaran sastra seringkali bersifat normatif dan tekstual, sehingga kurang menyentuh aspek apresiasi dan kreativitas yang dapat menggugah minat serta keterlibatan siswa secara aktif. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pelatihan penulisan diksi sebagai upaya peningkatan literasi sastra di MA Plus Assowah Al-Islamiyah Gerung dengan melibatkan 40 orang sebagai peserta pelatihani. Kegiatan pengabdian terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu persiapan, penyampaian materi, praktik, presentasi dan diskusi, serta refleksi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui metode partisipatif dan interaktif. Kegiatan ini dinyatakan berhasil dengan indikator sebagai berikut: Aspek partisipasi: Peserta mengikuti kegiatan secara penuh dari awal hingga akhir. Aspek capaian pembelajaran: Berdasarkan penilaian terhadap hasil tugas menulis, sebagian besar peserta mampu menerapkan diksi konotatif dan denotatif dengan baik, serta menunjukkan peningkatan dalam variasi kosakata melalui penggunaan sinonim dan antonim. Aspek keberlanjutan: Pihak sekolah berkomitmen untuk memasukkan materi diksi ini dalam program ekstrakurikuler sastra dan meminta tindak lanjut berupa pendampingan literasi secara berkala. Aspek evaluatif: Refleksi peserta menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran akan pentingnya pilihan kata dalam menulis sastra yang ekspresif dan bermakna. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan pengabdian ini tidak hanya memberikan dampak positif terhadap keterampilan menulis siswa, tetapi juga memperkuat kemitraan antara institusi pendidikan tinggi dan sekolah menengah dalam membangun budaya literasi sastra yang berkelanjutan.[A1] Kata kunci: Penulisan Diksi; Peningkatan Literasi Sastra; Lingkungan Sekolah. ABSTRACTThe development of literary literacy among students is still relatively low. This is due to several factors, including minimal access to quality literary reading materials, lack of creative writing skills training, and the suboptimal approach to literary learning in the classroom. In this context, literary learning is often normative and textual, so that it does not touch on aspects of appreciation and creativity that can arouse students' interest and active involvement. This community service aims to conduct diction writing training as an effort to improve literary literacy at MA Plus Assowah Al-Islamiyah Gerung by involving 40 people as training participants. The community service activity consists of five stages, namely preparation, delivery of materials, practice, presentation and discussion, and reflection. The activity was carried out through participatory and interactive methods. This activity was declared successful with the following indicators: Participation aspect: Participants participated in the activity fully from start to finish. Learning achievement aspect: Based on the assessment of the results of the writing assignment, most participants were able to apply connotative and denotative diction well, and showed an increase in vocabulary variation through the use of synonyms and antonyms. Sustainability aspect: The school is committed to including this diction material in the literature extracurricular program and requests follow-up in the form of regular literacy assistance. Evaluative aspect: Participant reflections show an increased awareness of the importance of word choice in writing expressive and meaningful literature. Overall, this community service activity not only has a positive impact on students' writing skills but also strengthens the partnership between higher education institutions and secondary schools in building a sustainable literary literacy culture.Keywords: Diction Writing; Increasing Literary Literacy; School Environment

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dengan strategi MACI (Motivasi, Amati, Conclude, Implementasi) terhadap kemampuan literasi siswa di Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, melibatkan uji coba terbatas melalui desain one group pretest-posttest dan pretest-posttest control group design. Penelitian dilakukan di dua sekolah dasar di Kota Mataram, yaitu SDN 26 Kota Mataram dan SDN 1 Cakranegara, dengan fokus pada peningkatan keterampilan menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Data dianalisis menggunakan paired sample t-test, dan reliabilitas instrumen diukur menggunakan Cronbach's Alpha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada seluruh keterampilan literasi siswa setelah penerapan model CTL MACI. Peningkatan skor posttest lebih tinggi dibandingkan pretest di kedua sekolah, dengan korelasi yang kuat antara pretest dan posttest untuk semua keterampilan (ranging from 0.530 to 0.997). Reliabilitas instrumen pengukuran juga menunjukkan nilai yang sangat baik (Cronbach’s Alpha > 0.90). Meskipun keterampilan menyimak di SDN 1 Cakranegara menunjukkan korelasi yang lebih rendah (0,530), penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model CTL MACI efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan literasi siswa, dan instrumen pengukuran yang digunakan dapat dipercaya. Temuan ini mendukung penggunaan model CTL MACI sebagai pendekatan yang kontekstual dan berbasis siswa untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi di sekolah dasar.Abstract:  This study aims to evaluate the effect of implementing Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model with MACI strategy (Motivation, Observe, Conclude, Implement) on students' literacy skills in elementary school. The method used was research and development (R&D) with a descriptive quantitative approach, involving a limited trial through a one group pretest-posttest design and a pretest-posttest control group design. The research was conducted in two elementary schools in Mataram City, namely SDN 26 Mataram City and SD Aisyiyah 2 Mataram, with a focus on improving listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-test, and instrument reliability was measured using Cronbach's Alpha. The results showed a significant increase in all students' literacy skills after the application of the CTL MACI model. At SD Aisyiyah, the average ability of language skills (listening, speaking, writing and reading) average score between 65-73 is moderate, because it has not used the CTL MACI learning syntax. Meanwhile, SD 26 Mataram has a high ability of the 4 language skills with an average score of 84-85, because it has implemented the CTL MACI learning syntax.  Although the skills at SD Aisyiyah 2 showed a lower correlation, the study concluded that the CTL MACI model was effective in improving students' literacy skills, and the measurement instruments used were reliable. The findings support the use of the CTL MACI model as a contextualized and student-driven approach to improving literacy skills in primary schools.
