Abstract

Pengembangan kawasan wisata di Kota Ternate manjadi salah satu program pemerintah kota saat ini. Beberapa destinasi wisata terutama wisata pantai telah dikelola secara berkelompok oleh masyarakat setempat dengan membentuk kelompok sadar wisata. Namun demikian pengetahuan dan pemahaman kelompok ini masih terbatas terutama terkait dengan keselamatan dan Kesehatan kerja. Oleh karena itu kegiatan pengabdian dalam bentuk sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman kesiapsiagaan dan kesadaran masyarakat dan menumbuhkan peran komunitas masyarakat dalam mewujudkan ketangguhan masyarakat menghadapi kecelakaan. Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan dan wawasan Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja bagi peserta pengelola kawasan wisata pantai Kastela Kota Ternate

Abstract

Purpose: The advantage of lightweight concrete is to reduce the weight, which is considered the dead load on the structure. This study aims to determine the effect of replacing sand with pumice sand as fine aggregate in lightweight concrete. The substitution affects the compressive strength, split tensile strength, and weight. Design/methodology/approach: The research method is through testing in the laboratory, where the test specimens are cylindrical following SNI with a height of 30 cm and a diameter of 15 cm totaling 50 pieces. The composition ratio between regular and pumice sand is 75%:25%, 50%:50%, 25%:75%, and 0%:100%, respectively. Control of the test object using 100% regular sand. Findings: This research shows that adding pumice sand into the mixture decreases the volume weight. The weight of the volume of concrete produced is < 1,900 kg/m3, which is classified as a lightweight one. Research limitations/implications: The resulting compressive strength of 56.63 kg/cm2 decreased against the control test object by 81.10%. At the same time, the split tensile strength is 1.13 kg/cm2, or a decline of 52.05% from the control test object. Originality/value: This paper is an original work. Paper type: Research paper

Abstract

AbstrakTransportasi laut sebagai sarana penghubung antar pulau masih sangat minim, kurangnya infrastruktur, terbatasnya jumlah angkutan sampai biaya transportasi yang tinggi.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis karakteristik perjalanan dan memodelkan waktu perjalanan pekerja pada wilayah kepulauan.Survei wawancara dilakukan untuk menentukan berbagai karakteristik pribadi dan pola perjalanan  yang  mempengaruhi waktu perjalanan pekerja pada wilayah kepulauan. Model regresi linier dikembangkan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pilihan waktu perjalanan dengan perangkat lunak pengolah data ms excel untuk menjelaskan pola perjalanan dan pilihan model waktu perjalanan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan gambaran tentang  karakteristik perjalanan dan model waktuperjalanan pekerja pada wilayah kepulauan wilayah gugus pulau di Provinsi Maluku Utara.Kata kunci—Pekerja, waktu perjalanan, wilayah kepulauan.

Abstract

Pelabuhan adalah tempat yang terdiri dari daratan dan perairan di sekitarnya dengan batas-batas tertentu sebagai tempat kegiatan pemerintah dan kegiatan ekonomi yang dipergunakan sebagai tempat kapal bersandar, berlabuh, naik turun penumpang dan bongkar muat barang yang dilengkapi dengan fasilitas keselamatan pelayaran dan kegiatan penunjang pelabuhan serta sebagai tempat perpindahan intra dan moda transportasi. Faktor internal dan eksternal pelabuhan Kupal berpengaruh besar terhadap pengembangan pelabuhan dan daerah di sekitarnya. Dengan kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman yang terdapat pada Pelabuhan Kupal. Pemerintah Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan harus memanfaatkan pelabuhan Kupal dengan skala proritas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelabuhan Kupal berada pada kuadran 4 dalam posisi yang lemah dan sangat tidak menguntungkan. Rekomendasi strategi yang diberikan adalah untuk meningkatkan kinerja internal, membenahi infrastruktur pelabuhan dan meminimalisir kelemahan.

Abstract

PLTU Tidore produces coal waste in the form of bottom ash or (FABA) which produces an average of 14 tons per day or 5,040 tons per year. To reduce the amount of waste, which can reduce production costs and reduce industrial waste, namely by using bottom ash as a substitute for fine aggregate. The specifications in the implementation of this test refer to the General Bina Marga 2018 specifications. The compaction of the test object is carried out in 2 × 75 collisions assuming that the test is intended for heavy traffic. The test results show that the bottom ash content as an aggregate substitute for fine aggregate produces a stability value of 1437 kg, flow 3.23 mm, MQ 450.11 kg/mm, density 2.377 gr/cm³, and porosity 4.71%. The values of flow, density, stability, MQ, porosity and porosity meet the requirements of the values set in Revision II of Highways (2018). Abstract

The risks that have the most influential impact during the construction work of the Sp. Dodinga-Sofifi-Akelamo-Payahe-Weda Road Preservation project in North Maluku Province, are the work environment (the surrounding conditions of the road  (right and left) which are overgrown with wild plants, so that it looks like the road feels poorly maintained),  equipment (inadequate opererators in operating heavy equipment during the implementation of work), materials (There is often a shortage of materials (non-local) because they have to be brought in from outside the area), methods of carrying out work (Implementation of work not in accordance with predetermined specifications), human resources, (Human resources who work cannot coordinate properly and do not produce road projects that  well), financial (Insufficient financial capability of the contractor and use of unused contract advances for the purposes of project implementation), and design changes (Frequent design changes by the owner due to use or function that changed from the initial planning while the work was being carried out).

Abstract

Road maintenance work or road preservation is very important to be carried out as a government effort to maintain the functional sustainability of the road. The delay in the implementation of this activity will not only have an impact on accessibility between regions, but will also cause losses for the contractor and project owner. The factors causing delays in the implementation of road preservation work vary widely and are different in each region. Thus, an understanding of these factors will provide important information in the management of future projects. This study conducted to analyze the dominant factors that cause the delays of road preservation projects in North Maluku, where the case study is in the Sp. Dodinga – Sofifi – Akelamo – Payahe – Weda, this road has length of ± 141 km. Respondents in the study are people who are directly involved in the implementation of this work. A statistical approach was carried out in this study, where the independent variables used included: Finance (X1), Human Resources (X2), Materials (X3), Equipment (X4), Work Implementation Methods (X5), Design Changes (X6), and Work Environment (X7), while for the dependent variable is Time (Y1). The results of this study indicate that the dominant factors influencing the timely completion of road preservation work at the study location are Finance (X1), Human Resources (X2), Materials (X3), and Equipment (X4) with a percentage value of 43.89%.

Abstract

Rigid pavement or cement concrete pavement is a construction (pavement) with aggregate and raw materials and uses cement as a binding material. Rigid pavements have good compressive strength, but in contrast to flexural strength, this is due to their brittle nature, so when planning rigid pavements, fiber is added to the concrete mixture in the hope of increasing the elastic or flexible properties of the rigid pavement itself. This study aims to analyze the effect of adding polypropylene fibers to a mixture of rigid pavement concrete with a variation of 0.1%; 0.3%; 0.5%; 0.7%; and 1.0% by weight of cement. Control test objects without using polypropylene fiber. The number of cylindrical specimens of 15x30 cm was 30 pieces. Compressive strength test. The results showed that the compressive strength were optimum at 0.30%.

Abstract

Beberapa dekade terakhir, plastik telah membawa banyak kemudahan bagi kehidupan masyarakat, namun plastik juga telah menyebabkan banyak masalah bagi lingkungan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, daur ulang plastik merupakan salah satu alternatif, yang lain dengan menggantikan material alami yang ada sekarang dengan mengguakan plastik telah mendapatkan perhatian yang signifikan dari para peneliti. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh limbah plastik jenis PET pada campuran aspal beton AC Base berdasarkan karakteristik marshall campauran aspal. Berdasarkan pengujian marshall diketahui bahwa penambhan PET pada campuran aspal dapat meningkatkan nilai stabilitas pada campuran aspal beton. Penggunaan Serat PET memberikan dampak yang positif sehingga dapat dikembang untuk penelitian selanjutnya

Abstract

Sarana Transportasi dari Pelabuhan Semut – Bandara Sultan Babullah Kota Ternate saat ini didominasi oleh angkutan mobil Station Wagon. Tidak tersedianya angkutan umum jenis bus membuat pemudik harus menggunakan moda station wagon. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi wisatawan dalam memilih moda transportasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode state preference dan model pemilihan mode yang digunakan adalah Model Logit binomial. Berdasarkan uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa keempat variabel yang digunakan yaitu biaya perjalanan waktu tunda waktu tempuh dan frekuensi keberangkatan merupakan faktor yang mempengaruhi responden dalam memilih moda. Atribut yang paling berpengaruh pada model berdasarkan analisis elastisitas adalah atribut biaya perjalanan.
