Abstract

The tourism industry in Bali represents a dynamic and competitive landscape, where businesses strive to gain and maintain a competitive advantage in a global market. This study investigates the influence of employee competence and organizational culture on competitive advantage within the context of the tourism sector in Bali. A quantitative approach utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis was employed to analyze data collected from 170 participants working in various tourism-related businesses. The findings reveal significant positive relationships between employee competence, organizational culture, and competitive advantage. Employee competence was found to positively influence organizational culture and competitive advantage, while organizational culture was positively associated with competitive advantage. Furthermore, organizational culture partially mediated the relationship between employee competence and competitive advantage. These findings underscore the importance of investing in employee development and fostering a positive organizational culture to enhance competitiveness in the tourism industry in Bali.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of technological innovation and design creativity on the attractiveness of tourism destinations in Bali. A quantitative approach was employed, collecting data from 267 tourists visiting various destinations in Bali. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis was used to analyze the relationships between technological innovation, design creativity, and destination attractiveness. The results revealed significant positive relationships between technological innovation and destination attractiveness (β = 0.543, p < 0.001) and between design creativity and destination attractiveness (β = 0.486, p < 0.001). The model fit assessment indicated satisfactory fit indices for the SEM-PLS model. Overall, the findings highlight the importance of leveraging technological innovation and design creativity to enhance the attractiveness of tourism destinations in Bali and foster sustainable tourism growth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan bibliometrik untuk menganalisis evolusi konsep Work-Life Balance (WLB) dalam literatur akademis. Dengan melibatkan lebih dari 980 publikasi dari tahun 1998 hingga 2024, penelitian ini memberikan gambaran komprehensif tentang tren penelitian, kontributor kunci, dan kolaborasi peneliti terkait WLB. Analisis jaringan penulis dan klaster tema mengidentifikasi isu-isu penting yang berkembang seiring waktu. Implikasi penelitian ini mencakup pemahaman mendalam tentang dampak transformasi global pada angkatan kerja, perubahan fokus akibat pandemi COVID-19, serta tren penelitian yang akan datang. Selain itu, penelitian ini menyediakan dasar untuk kolaborasi penelitian lebih lanjut, memfasilitasi pengembangan penelitian yang holistik dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of demographic factors on consumer preferences within the tourism industry in Bali. 250 tourists examined their accommodation choices, activity preferences, and overall satisfaction. The study employs Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to analyze the data. Results reveal nuanced patterns: younger tourists favor budget accommodations, older tourists opt for luxury, and higher-income individuals prefer upscale options. Gender and education impact preferences, emphasizing the need for tailored strategies. The measurement model assessment confirms the reliability and validity of the constructs. Findings contribute to understanding Bali's tourism dynamics, guiding businesses and policymakers in optimizing offerings for diverse demographic segments.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of sustainable tourism management, tourist education, and environmental awareness on the visiting intentions of tourists in Ubud, Bali. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 160 respondents using a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3) was employed for data analysis to explore the relationships among the variables. The findings indicate that effective sustainable tourism management and heightened environmental awareness significantly enhance tourists' intentions to visit. Additionally, tourist education plays a crucial role in fostering environmental consciousness, further influencing visiting intentions. The results underscore the importance of integrated tourism strategies that prioritize sustainability and education to promote environmentally responsible travel behavior. This research provides valuable insights for policymakers and tourism operators in developing sustainable tourism practices that align with visitors' environmental values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh word of mouth, social media marketing dan kepercayaan terhadap kepuasan konsumen pengguna iPhone. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah konsumen pengguna iPhone. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian secara parsial mengindikasikan bahwa setiap variabel kualitas pelayanan, komunikasi pemasaran dan kepercayaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen pengguna iPhone. Hasil uji penelitian memperoleh hasil nilai R Square diperoleh sebesar 45% dan sisanya sebesar 55% dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel lain diluar penelitian ini misalnya citra merek, promosi harga dan emosional dan lain-lain. Hasil uji simultan penelitian diperoleh bahwa pengaruh word of mouth, social media marketing dan kepercayaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen pengguna iPhone.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Internet of Things (IoT), digital payment systems, and 24/7 customer support services on improving travelers' experiences in tourism destinations in Bali, Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 200 respondents through a structured Likert scale questionnaire, with analysis conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results show that all three factors positively and significantly contribute to enhancing tourists' experiences, with 24/7 customer support services having the strongest impact, followed by digital payment systems and IoT. The findings highlight the importance of continuous customer support, secure and convenient digital transactions, and seamless IoT-enabled services in creating a positive tourism experience. These insights provide practical implications for tourism operators and policymakers in Bali, underscoring the need for technological investments to meet modern travelers' expectations.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of marketing strategy, accessibility, and tourism support infrastructure on foreign tourist satisfaction in Bali, Indonesia. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data was collected from 200 foreign tourists through structured questionnaires, employing a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5. The data was analyzed using SPSS 26 software. The findings reveal that all hypotheses are positive and significant, indicating that effective marketing strategies, improved accessibility, and robust tourism support infrastructure substantially enhance foreign tourist satisfaction. These results underscore the importance of strategic marketing, accessible facilities, and comprehensive infrastructure in promoting tourist satisfaction and sustaining Bali's tourism industry. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers and stakeholders aiming to boost Bali's attractiveness as a global tourist destination.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of cultural tourism development, accessibility, and community involvement on the attractiveness of tourism destinations in Bali. Employing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 210 respondents using a structured questionnaire with a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results reveal that accessibility has the strongest positive effect on attractiveness, followed by community involvement and cultural tourism development. These findings underscore the importance of integrating infrastructure development, active community participation, and cultural preservation to enhance Bali's appeal as a global tourist destination. The study provides actionable insights for policymakers and tourism stakeholders to promote sustainable and inclusive tourism development.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of influencer marketing, customer interaction, and digital advertising on the brand image of Bali's tourism industry. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 190 respondents who were surveyed using a structured questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to evaluate the relationships between the constructs. The results reveal that influencer marketing has the strongest positive impact on brand image, followed by customer interaction and digital advertising. The combined effects of these dimensions explain 68% of the variance in brand image, highlighting the importance of an integrated digital marketing approach. These findings contribute to the literature on tourism marketing and offer practical insights for stakeholders to enhance Bali's brand image through strategic use of influencer campaigns, interactive customer engagement, and targeted digital advertisements.
