Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan konsumen terhadap beras premium di Kecamatan Indralaya Utara Kabupaten Ogan Ilir dan 2) Mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan konsumen terhadap beras premium di Kecamatan Indralaya Utara Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Tanjung Pering, Kecamatan Indralaya Utara, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Penentuan lokasi ini dilakukan secara sengaja dengan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Pendataan dilakukan pada Mei-Juni 2023. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling, yaitu sampel tidak dipilih secara acak dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah: (1) Karakteristik konsumen rumah tangga beras premium terdiri dari ibu rumah tangga yang memiliki usia rata-rata 31 tahun, dengan jenjang pendidikan terakhir SMA dan memiliki keluarga 5 orang dengan pendapatan keluarga rata-rata Rp. 4.862.233/bulan. (2) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan konsumen terhadap beras premium adalah Harga Beras Premium, Harga Beras Sedang (Barang Pengganti), Pendapatan Rumah Tangga, dan Jumlah Anggota Keluarga. (3) Dan untuk hasil rata-rata proporsi pengeluaran makanan dari 30 responden, ditemukan ada 7 orang yang pengeluaran makanannya lebih kecil dari pengeluaran non-makanan dan ada 23 orang yang pengeluaran makanannya lebih besar dari pengeluaran non-makanan sebesar 77 persen. Artinya, konsumen beras premium di Desa Tanjung Pering memiliki pengeluaran makanan yang lebih besar dibandingkan non-makanan mereka.

Abstract

households in Indralaya Utara District, Ogan Ilir Regency, 2) analyze the factors that influence consumer demand for premium rice in Indralaya Utara District, Ogan Ilir Regency and 3) analyze the proportion of food expencies and non-food expencies in Indralaya Utara District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research was conducted in Tanjung Pering Village, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This location determination was done deliberately with the research method used is the survey method. Datacollection was carried out in May-June 2023. The sampling method used was non- probability sampling, namely the samples were not randomly selected using the purposive sampling method. The research results obtained are: (1) The characteristics of premium rice household consumers consist of housewives who have an average age of 31 years, with the last education level of high school and have a family of 5 people with an average family income of Rp. 4,862,233/month. (2) factors that affect consumer demand for premium rice is Premium Rice Prices, Medium Rice Prices (Substitute Goods), Household Income, and Number of Family Members. (3) And for the results of the average proportion of food expenditure from 30 respondents, it was found that there are 7 people whose food expenditure is less than non-food expenditure and there are 23 people whose food expenditure is greater than non-food expenditure by 77 percent. This means that consumers of premium rice in Tanjung Pering Village have food expenditures that are greater than their non-food

Abstract

Cooking oil is one of the basic ingredients which plays a very important role in meeting household consumption needs. Currently, cooking oil is marketed in two forms, namely in bulk and in packages with certain brands/labels. Even though packaged cooking oil has many advantages and is increasingly common in Indralaya Indah Village, the demand for bulk cooking oil is still higher compared to packaged cooking oil. The objectives of this research are: (1) to analyze the differences in the characteristics of packaged cooking oil and bulk cooking oil in Indralaya Indah Village, Ogan Ilir Regency; (2) to analyze the determinant factors for packaged cooking oil and bulk cooking oil in Indralaya Indah Village, Ogan Ilir Regency (3) to describe the behavior of using and handling packaged cooking oil waste by households in Indralaya Indah Village, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research was carried out in December in Indralaya Indah Village, Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The research method used was a survey with a sample of 38 households. Data were processed using multiple linear regression analysis, independent t test and descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that: (1) the characteristics of cooking oil consumers obtained from this research, namely consumers aged 36-45 years, the dominant gender is female, the education level is predominantly high school level, and have a relatively high income of between Rp. 2,500,000 – 3,500,000, and have < 4 family members. Meanwhile, the significant differences in the characteristics of bulk cooking oil and packaged cooking oil are education, number of family members and employment; (2) factors that influence consumer demand for cooking oil per month in Indralaya Indah Subdistrict are education, income and health awareness; (3) the behavior of using cooking oil in Indralaya Indah Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir Regency, namely that on average, 358 milliliters of cooking oil is used for one cooking and it is immediately thrown into the drain of each respondent's house without processing it first. Abstract

It is often excluded from the handling of illegal logging and deforestation is the release of the socio-economic aspects in problem solving deforestation and forestry development. The purpose of this study was to: 1. Identify the socio-economic characteristics of the migrant who become illegal loggers, 2. Analyze the amount of illegal loggers' income and its allocation to the consumption, and 3. Develop a strategy to overcome illegal logging and forest deforestation based on the socio-economic characteristics of the logger. The analysis showed that socio-economic conditions of the migrant who become illegal loggers illustrates that they are still a low level of education and have productive age. Income earned Rp 4,301,211.00/year/family, lower than the income of Rp 33,070,945.00/year/family after migrating. Income get from illegal logging are Rp 13.087.945/year/family. Average migrant allocates 60.81 % of its total income for consumption, and the remaining 39.19 % is allocated to farming and non-farming activities. This study suggests that there should be an increase in revenue breakthrough in the area of origin to be able to suppress the migration process becomes illegal loggers to other areas. Low income is the core problem of farmers to migrate. Required two basic designs: (1) social engineering with community and (2) technical engineering in the direction of the multiproduct and multifunctional forest benefits to overcome the problems of forestry in the long run.

Abstract

Rubber is a plantation commodity that has a very important role in Indonesia. Rubber plants are widespread throughout Indonesia, especially on the island of Sumatra, and also on other islands. This research was conducted in Ujung Tanjung Village, Banyuasin III District, Banyuasin Regency. The objectives of this study were (1) to calculate the cost and income of rubber farming. (2) to analyzing the welfare level of rubber farmers using welfare indicators according to the Central Statistics Agency. The research method used in this study is the survey method. The sampling method used is proportional stratified random sampling. The data used in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Data collection was carried out in December 2022 until it was completed. The conclusions of this study are (1) The income of rubber farming farmers   in  Ujung  Tanjung  Village   obtained   an  average   income  of.   IDR 35,694,800.22/lg/year or equal to IDR 2,970,816.69/lg/month. (2) Rubber farmers in Ujung Tanjung Village have a low welfare level of 9.37% and rubber farmers have a moderate level of farmer welfare of 50.00% while rubber farmers have a high level of farmer welfare of 40.63% of all farmer respondents rubber in the village of Ujung tanjung. (3) The strategy for developing rubber farming in Ujung Tanjung Village is in quadrant I supporting aggressive strategies, these strategies are  utilizing  available  resources  to  meet  demand,  increasing  production  by utilizing fertilizer assistance from the government, and increasing cultivation land with available land to increase production.

Abstract

The adoption of information technology, particularly e-commerce, is a strategic solution to address marketing challenges in the digital transformation era. In Burai Village, e-commerce implementation remains limited, necessitating assistance to empower the community in utilizing e-commerce for marketing and enhancing entrepreneurial capacity. The program began with a needs assessment, analyzing community requirements and potentials, followed by resource and budget planning. Implementation involved the community in creating online stores, optimizing promotional features like live streaming, managing inventory, and generating shipping labels. The program concluded with an evaluation phase. Results showed increased e-commerce knowledge among the community, a higher number of e-commerce account owners, and improved skills in using platform features. Surveys revealed high community satisfaction with e-commerce sales features and recognition of its pivotal role in boosting product sales. This initiative underscores the importance of targeted assistance in fostering digital marketing capabilities within rural communities.

Abstract

Beras merupakan makanan pokok masyarakat Indonesia, yang dikonsumsi hampir 90% oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Negara penghasil beras diharapkan dapat memenuhi akan kebutuhan beras negaranya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendiskripsikan potensi lahan untuk pertanian padi. mendiskripsikan trend perkembangan produktivitas padi di Kabupaten Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir. Menganalisis output dan outcome sistem pengembangan agribisnis beras, bagaimana trend produksi dan tren konsumsi berasa. Menganalisis Nilai Tukar Petani (NTP) padi di Kabupaten PALI. Menganalisis Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi padi petani. Menganalisis Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi konsumsi beras petani. Menganalisis strategi Rancang Bangun Pengembangan Sistem Agribisnis beras di wilayah Kabupaten PALI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode survey dan metode penarikan contoh menggunakan accidental sampling. Accidental Sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 75 orang. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Lahan yang akan digunakan terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji tanah, langkah selanjutnya melaksanakan perancangan kelas kesesuaian potensial. Pada kelas kesesuaian lahan aktual didominasi oleh faktor pembatas Tempratur produksi. Konsumsi beras petani dipengaruhi oleh faktor jumah anggota keluarga, usia ibu, lama pendidikan ibu, harga beras dan pendapatan

Abstract

The low productivity of tidal rice fields causes the rice fields to always be inundated. One way to increase the productivity and income of rice farmers in tidal land is to implement the rice-fish system. The objectives of this study are: (1) To analyze the income and cost structure of tidal rice farming and rice-fish farming in Dusun III Talang Andong, Banyuasin Regency; (2) To describe the obstacles for tidal rice farmers switching to rice-fish farming in Dusun III Talang Andong, Banyuasin Regency. The location selection was carried out intentionally (purposive). The sampling method was a simple random sampling method for rice farmers and a census method for rice-fish farmers. The cost structure was analyzed using the percentage proportion of each cost component to the total cost. The percentage proportion of fixed costs for rice farming was 30.84% ​​and rice-fish farming was 14.13%. While the percentage proportion of variable costs for rice farming was 69.16% and rice-fish farming was 85.87%. The income of mina padi farming is higher, which is Rp45,733,333/Ha/MT, while the income of rice farming is only Rp6,508,942/Ha/MT. With the obstacles faced by rice farmers to switch to the mina padi system, namely the high cost of building the mina padi system and production costs, in addition, most rice farmers in Dusun III Talang Andong still rent the rice fields they work on and the cost structure of rice farming is still dominated by labor wages and land rent so that there is a lack of allocation for purchasing production inputs.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan terkait penggunaan sosial media untuk pemasaran produk UMKM di Desa Burai. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pengisian kuesioner pre-test dan post-test kepada anggota kelompok sadar wisata yang berjumlah 25 orang. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan kegiatan penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan skala likert (skor 1-5). Penyuluhan mengenai sosial media dalam kegiatan pemasaran bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat di Desa Burai. Berdasarkan hasil perbandingan, terdapat indikator yang tidak terlalu meningkat secara signifikan. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi adalah kurangnya pemahaman terhadap materi yang ada. Namun secara keseluruhan, setelah dilakukan penyuluhan terkait penggunaan media sosial untuk pemasaran terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan anggota kelompok sadar wisata Desa Burai dari materi yang disampaikan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dapat dikatakan memberikan manfaat bagi anggota kelompok sadar wisata Desa Burai.
