Abstract

This study aims to identify the mapping, measure performance, and analyze problems in the structure of rice supply chain management on the supplier network phase in South Sumatra. Afterward, the result of this study is used as the basic consideration to improve the rice supply chain performance on indicators that have problems. Data collection was conducted by direct interview, questionnaire, and observation. This study used descriptive qualitative and several analysis tools as the data such as Supply Chain Operation Reference Model (SCOR), Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Objective Matrix (OMAX) and Traffic Light System (TLS). According to the rice supply chain mapping on supplier network phase, there are three rice supply chains. Based on the interview, the farmers’ main problem as the main producers of the rice supply chain in South Sumatra is the limitation of unhusked rice price information in harvesting in the financial flow of rice supply chain. Based on the weighting result by OMAX scoring system, the total index value is 7.28, or in the yellow category which means that the performance of LICM rice- industry company in South Sumatra has not achieved the expected performance in terms of rice supply chain even though the result is close to the pre-determined target.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui trend fluktuasi harga karet pada tahun 2019 hingga tahun 2020 di Desa Panca Tunggal Kecamatan Sungai Lilin Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin, (2) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh fluktasi harga karet dan jumlah produksi karet terhadap pendapatan petani karet di Desa Panca Tunggal Kecamatan Sungai Lilin Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Pemilihan lokasi dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive).Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian survei. Metode penarikan contoh yang akan digunakan adalah metode acak sederhana (simple random sampling). Jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah sebanyak 30 dari 195 petani karet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis trend harga karet pada tahun 2019 hingga tahun 2020 dengan menggunakan model polinomial order ke-6 dengan rata-rata nilai R-Square 78,5% dan mengalami trend harga yang berfluktuasi yang cenderung meningkat. Fluktuasi harga karet dan jumlah produksi karet memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap pendapatan petani karet. Apabila harga karet mengalami kenaikan Rp1, maka pendapatan petani karet juga akan mengalami kenaikan sebesar Rp 2.204 dengan asumsi variabel bebas lainnya bernilai tetap dan apabila jumlah produksi karet mengalami kenaikan 1Kg, maka pendapatan petani karet juga akan mengalami kenaikan sebesar Rp8.970 dengan asumsi variabel bebas lainnya bernilai tetap.  Kata kunci: fluktuasi harga, karet, pendapatan, pengaruh.

Abstract

Hamzah et al, 2018. Empirical Study on the Pattern of Funding Sources for Rice Farming in South Sumatra. JLSO 7(2):196-203. The objective of the study was to identify the source and size of the financing portion of the rice farming from the loan and the terms and the interest rate charged. The interviews were conducted on 75 samples of rice farmers whose farming costs were partly derived from loans at three different land ecosystems in South Sumatra Province. The three types of ecosystems viz., tidal swamp land, technical irrigation, and swamp land were used in the study.  The results showed that there were seven financing sources that farmers used for fulfill their production cost if they not enough capital. Middlemen was biggest source with a portion of 45.28% and their own costs of 43.52, the rest is relatively small comes from money lenders, families, rice milling units, cooperative and friends. The interest rate charged varies from 3% to 50% per planting season. The lowest interest rate on lending money was to cooperatives and middlemen. However, if farmers borrow from middlemen, they must sell their rice to them. The highest interest rate from money lenders is 50%. All loans were being paid at after harvested time. Only borrow to families and friends were not charged interest and other terms. Farmers were forced to use non-formal lending institutions because banks located far away and they were afraid to come to the bank. It is suggested to reduce the dependence of rice farmers on non-formal lending institutions through developing a more effective agricultural cooperative.

Abstract

In the inventory system is given operational policies relating to product inventory control, such as how much is ordered, when to order with the aim of minimizing storage and ordering costs. Customer demand and lead time affect the inventory system. This study aims to determine the densitas distribution of demand data, total inventory costs and optimal coconut supply for the two order periods using the stochastic inventory model. Stochastic inventory models can be used if there is variable uncertainty. This paper discusses the optimization of coconut inventories using a stochastic model with uncertainty about demand and lead time. It is known that demand data is uniformly distributed, based on the realization value of random variable requests can be formed in 49 scenarios. Obtained an optimal total inventory cost for the two planning periods is Rp. 45,672,910, optimal supply for period one was 26031 coconuts. Inventory levels in two period for any scenarios are

Abstract

The length of the existing porang (Amorphopallus Muelleri B) supply chain is causing a problem on porang farmers in South Sumatra. The purpose of this research was to construct a P4S Karya Tani porang supply chain with two evaluation steps. First beginning, identify the potential demand for porang in South Sumatra from either the demand and supply perspective. Second, consider the challenges of maximizing market demand in the porang supply chain in South Sumatra. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with a philosophical approach to supply chain management theory. Based on the discussion, P4S as evaluated the porang supply chain design, determining that small and large traders must be eliminated as intermediaries, allowing them to sell porang raw materials direct to consumers and agro-industry enterprises that export porang. All elements, including that of the local government, Sriwijaya University, the corporate sector, and banking institutions, should be involved in the P4S porang supply chain planning. This collaboration is crucial in order to connect and transform the paradigm of direct sales to consumers, enabling P4S porang farmers to sell to the nearest consumer, PT PIP in South Lampung, via a contract farming system.

Abstract

Pertanian adalah kegiatan manusia yang menggunakan sumber daya hayati untuk menghasilkan makanan, bahan baku industri atau energi, dan untuk mengelola lingkungan. Pertanian memegang peranan penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia. Namun, salah satu masalah utama yang muncul di sektor pertanian adalah rendahnya produktivitas tenaga kerja sumber daya manusianya. Pembangunan pertanian menghadapi serangkaian tantangan dalam proses suksesi sistem manajemen usaha pertanian. Faktor-faktor yang menentukan regenerasi petani antara lain karakteristik generasi muda, dukungan dari lingkungan keluarga, masyarakat, pemerintah, peran penyuluh pertanian, serta partisipasi generasi muda di bidang pertanian. Selain itu petani masih dianggap sebagai profesi yang kurang menjanjikan sehingga menyebabkan generasi muda tidak berminat terhadap kegiatan pertanian. Desa Meranjat II Kecamatan Indralaya Selatan Kabupaten Ogan Ilir merupakan salah satu Desa yang berada di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan yang sebagian besar masyarakatnya berprofesi sebagai petani, tetapi ketika tidak musim panen mereka beralih profesi sebagai pengrajin. Kendati masyarakatnya berprofesi sebagai petani, akan tetapi generasi muda di Desa Meranjat II nampaknya kurang berminat untuk melakukan regenerasi petani menggantikan orang tuanya, jika keadaan seperti ini dibiarkan maka keberlanjutan pertanian akan stagnan bahkan mengalami penurunan.Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu cara untuk meningkatkan minat generasi muda terhadap pertanian, yaitu melalui kegiatan sosialisasi dan pendidikan yang ditujukan kepada generasi muda itu sendiri, kelompok tani dan keluarga. Tujuan diadakannya kegiatan edukasi hidroponik sebagai pertanian alternatif bagi calon petani milenial di Desa Meranjat II merupakan upaya untuk meningkatkan minat kaum milenial terhadap sektor pertanian dengan harapan generasi muda di Desa Meranjat II dapat membantu mewujudkan rencana strategis Kementerian Pertanian yaitu memfokuskan pembangunan pertanian melalui konsep pembangunan pertanian berkelanjutan

This study aimed to analyze the factors of land area, production and total household income which are suspected to affect the availability of staple food rice for rice farmers in Muara Belida District, Muara Enim Regency during the covid-19 pandemic. The method used is a survey method, data collection is carried out directly through interviews using questionnaires. Data processing using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the analysis show that in Muara Belida District based on the value of the Coefficient of Determination (R2), it is known that land area, production and household income of rice farmers simultaneously have an effect of 22.9% on Food Availability of Rice Farmers' Household Rice while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the variable. researched. Based on the results of the Communal Test (Test F) it is known that jointly land area, production and total household income have a joint effect on the availability of rice food for rice farmer households in Muara Belida District. While the results of the partial test (T test) of land area and production partially have no effect on the availability of staple food rice for farmer households, while the total income of farm households has a partial effect on the availability of staple food for household farmers. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are other factors other than the variables of land area, production and total income of farm households that have a greater influence on the availability of rice for rice farmers of Lebak swamp rice farmers in Muara Belida sub-district during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Di penghujung tahun 2019 hingga awal tahun 2021 Indonesia terus mengalami peningkatan kasus positif Covid-19. Peningkatan kasus positif Covid-19 berdampak pada banyak aspek. Salah satunya adalah nutrisi yang merupakan kebutuhan dasar kehidupan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1. Mendeskripsikan karakter konsumen yang melakukan pembelian buah di pasar modern secara online dan offline pada masa pandemi Covid-19, 2. Mendeskripsikan proses pengambilan keputusan konsumen dalam pembelian buah di pasar modern secara online dan offline pada masa pandemi Covid-19, dan 3. Menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen dalam pembelian buah di pasar modern online dan offline selama pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2021. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode Purposive sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari data primer dan data sekunder. Metode pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif karakteristik konsumen dan proses pengambilan keputusan, serta regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen dalam pembelian buah di pasar modern online dan offline di masa pandemi Covid-19 adalah umur, harga, dan lokasi.

Abstract

Persepsi konsumen adalah bagaimana konsumen memilih, mengatur dan menginterpretasikan persepsi konsumen adalah bagaimana konsumen memilih, mengatur dan menginterpretasikan informasi untuk menggambarkan sesuatu. Hubungan bauran pemasaran dengan persepsi konsumen dapat dilihat dari baik buruknya persepsi konsumen terhadap produk. Bauran pemasaran merupakan salah satu usaha dalam persaingan bisnis, dimana produk yang dihasilkan dapat diterima oleh konsumen dan menarik penjualan. Perusahaan dalam mencari respon dari pasar dapat menggunakan bauran pemasaran yang didalamnya terdapat cara mengelola produk, harga, penempatan lokasi yang strategis dan penggunaan promosi dalam memperkenalkan barang yang dihasilkan. Kepuasan konsumen merupakan harapan perusahaan. Perusahaan akan mengetahui bahwa barang yang dihasilkan diterima dengan baik di pasar dan diharapkan konsumen akan melakukan pembelian ulang. Tujuan penelitian ini: (1) Mengetahui strategi bauran pemasaran yang diterapkan oleh PT. Mitra Anugerah Perkasa Sumatera Selatan, (2) Menganalisis tingkat kepuasan pelanggan pupuk pada PT Mitra Anugerah Perkasa Sumatera Selatan, (3) Menganalisis pengaruh bauran pemasaran terhadap tingkat kepuasan pelanggan pupuk pada PT Mitra Anugerah Perkasa Sumatera Selatan pada PT. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan menggunakan kuesioner online. Riset dilakukan pada Desember 2020 dengan total 40 konsumen. Metode pengolahan data menggunakan skoring dengan analisis regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan bahwa strategi bauran pemasaran yang ada pada PT. Mitra Anugerah Perkasa Sumsel berjalan dengan baik, hal ini terlihat dari tingkat kepuasan pelanggan yang sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan persepsi pelanggan pupuk terhadap bauran pemasaran di PT. Mitra Anugerah Perkasa Sumatera Selatan diketahui total skor rata-rata persepsi pelanggan terhadap bauran pemasaran memiliki skor 77,05 dengan kriteria Sangat Puas karena berada pada interval 62,25 x 84,00. Berdasarkan hasil uji parsial (t), variabel produk (X1), promosi (X2) dan harga (X3) dalam penelitian ini berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada PT. Mitra Anugerah Perkasa Sumatera Selatan. Variabel tempat (X4), orang (X5), proses (X6) dan bukti fisik (X7) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada PT. Mitra Anugerah Perkasa Sumatera Selatan. Berdasarkan hasil uji simultan (f), masing-masing komponen bauran pemasaran (produk, promosi, harga, tempat, orang, proses dan bukti fisik) secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada PT. Mitra Anugerah Perkasa Sumatera Selatan.
