Abstract

The complexity of human resource management in the modern era requires organizations to prepare various supporting elements, ranging from organizational structure to adequate infrastructure. Human resource management at the East Java Provincial Forestry Office, Jember Regional Branch, demonstrates performance dynamics that reflect service quality and organizational effectiveness. This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership style, work-life balance, and organizational citizenship behavior on employee performance. This research involved all employees as samples, totaling 35 employees. The sampling technique used nonprobability sampling with a saturated sampling technique approach. The collected data were analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, and multiple linear regression. The research results show that transformational leadership style, work-life balance, and organizational citizenship behavior have positive and significant effects on employee performance at the East Java Provincial Forestry Office, Jember Regional Branch, where each variable has potential in improving employee performance. This can serve as a strategic consideration step to enhance employee performance. Recommendations for future research include expanding the study scope and deepening the interaction between factors to enrich adaptive human resource management policies.

Abstract

Badan Usaha Milik Desa Bersama (BUMDESMA) merupakan bentuk kolaborasi antar desa yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian lokal melalui pengelolaan potensi ekonomi yang ada. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, pengelolaan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang kompeten dan berkomitmen menjadi faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan kinerja organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi, pengembangan SDM, dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai BUMDESMA di Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode explanatory research dan melibatkan 104 responden yang merupakan pengelola inti BUMDESMA. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terstruktur dengan skala Likert 5 poin dan dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi dan pengembangan SDM berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, baik secara langsung maupun melalui peran komitmen organisasi sebagai mediator. Temuan ini memperkuat teori Resource-Based View (RBV) dengan menekankan pentingnya sumber daya manusia yang kompeten dan berkomitmen dalam meningkatkan kinerja organisasi. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengelolaan BUMDESMA dengan memberikan wawasan praktis tentang pengembangan kompetensi dan penguatan komitmen organisasi. Penelitian lebih lanjut diharapkan dapat mengeksplorasi faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi kinerja dan menguji model yang dikembangkan di sektor ekonomi lainnya

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of Entrepreneurship Training, Entrepreneurial Skills, and Individual Commitment on the Performance of Food & Beverage UMKM Actors in Jember. This study focuses on identifying the performance of UMKM operators. A quantitative approach is used, employing regression analysis to test the relationship between independent variables (Entrepreneurship Training, Entrepreneurial Skills, and Individual Commitment) and the dependent variable (Operator Performance). UMKM Food & Beverage operators in Jember were selected as the research subjects because they align with the research problem. Data was collected through a questionnaire (Google Form) distributed to Food & Beverage UMKM operators in Jember and will be analyzed using SPSS version 25. The research results indicate that Entrepreneurship Training positively and significantly influences Operator Performance with a calculated t-value of 6.410, which is greater than the critical t-value of 1.975 and a significance level of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Entrepreneurial Skills also positively and significantly influence Performance with a calculated t-value of 8.974, which is greater than the critical t-value of 1.975 and a significance level of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Commitment has a positive and significant effect on Performer Performance with a calculated t-value of 5.214, which is greater than the critical t-value of 1.975, and a significance level of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Aside from the variables examined in this study, the results indicate that the three variables only account for 47.1% of the variance in MSME performance. This suggests that there are still 52.9% of other potential variables that may influence MSME performance, such as business motivation, market orientation, entrepreneurial competence, and individual characteristics. Therefore, future research is recommended to consider these factors in order to gain a more comprehensive understanding of MSME performance.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to test and analyze the effect of competence and quality of work of life on the performance of employees of the financial management and regional assets agency of Jember Regency through organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) as an intervening variable. Method: The research involved 80 respondents, and data were collected through questionnaire distribution. The analysis was conducted using inner model analysis and outer model analysis. Results: The findings indicate that competence has a significant positive effect on OCB. Quality of Work Life also has a significant positive effect on OCB. Furthermore, competence significantly positively affects employee performance, and Quality of Work Life also significantly positively affects employee performance. Additionally, OCB has a significant positive effect on employee performance. OCB is proven to mediate the effect of competence on employee performance and the influence of Quality of Work Life on employee performance. Novelty: This study highlights the mediating role of OCB in the relationship between competence, Quality of Work Life, and employee performance, providing deeper insights into human resource management in the financial management and regional assets agency of Jember Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh perusahaan yang harus terus memiliki karyawan dengan tingkat kepemimpinan dan loyalitas yang baik untuk dapat membantu perusahaan agar bisa mengolah manajemen perusahaan dengan baik. Adanya perilaku Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) yang dilakukan oleh karyawan tidak lepas dari loyalitas yang dimilikinya. Loyalitas karyawan berhubungan dengan kesetiaan. Semakin banyakkaryawan yang memiliki loyalitas tinggi, semakin banyak pula karyawan yang melakukan OCB sehingga lebih mudah bagi perusahaan dalam mencapai tujuan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan employee engagement dan loyalitas karyawan terhadap OCB di PELTEKPG. Jatiroto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan karyawan yang terdapat di PELTEK PG. Jatiroto dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu sampel jenuh sebanyak 80 responden. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Regresi Linier Berganda dengan menggunakan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 21.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Gaya kepemimpian berpengaruh signifikan terhadap OCB pada karyawan PELTEK PG. Jatiroto (2) Employee engagement berpengaruh signifikan terhadap OCB pada karyawan PELTEK PG Jatiroto (3) loyalitas karyawan berpengaruh signifikanterhadap OCB pada karyawan PELTEK PG. Jatiroto.

Abstract

Kini smartphone telah menjadi salah satu kebutuhan dan menjadi bagian dari aktivitas sehari-hari seorang konsumen khususnya pada mahasiswa, sehingga perusahaan dapat menangkap peluang tersebut untuk menawarkan produk-produk smartphone yang dibutuhkan oleh mereka. Konsumen tentunya akan terlebih dahulu mempertimbangkan keputusan mengenai produk apa yang dibutuhkan, kapan, bagaimana serta dimana akan membeli dan apa yang konsumen akan lakukan dengan produk tersebut sehingga perlu dipahami mengenai faktor yang memengaruhi keputusan pembelian pada produk OPPO Smartphone. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini yaitu apakah harga, kualitas prioduk dan citra merek berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian OPPO di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh harga, kualitas produk dan citra merek terhadap keputusan pembelian OPPO di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 105 orang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi liner berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara parsial harga berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian, kualitas produk berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian dan citra merek berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian OPPO di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of social media marketing and consumer relationships on the decision-making process regarding enrollment in private universities, as well as to assess their influence on the brand perception of these institutions. Additionally, it seeks to analyze how the perceived brand image affects the decision to enroll in a private university. The study targeted new students entering private universities in Jember Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year, using proportional random sampling methods for data collection via questionnaires. Statistical analysis and hypothesis testing were conducted using SEM-PLS methodology. Findings indicate that social media marketing significantly affects the decision to enroll in a private university, while consumer relationship factors do not. Moreover, both social media marketing and consumer relationships impact the brand image of private universities, which subsequently influences enrollment decisions. Indirect testing reveals that brand image serves as a mediating factor in the relationship between social media marketing, consumer relationships, and the decision to enroll in a private university.

Abstract

This endeavor regarding environmental sustainability is consistently produced by IMM Jember Regency. Including organic waste management can be done with simple, cheap, effective and efficient technology by IMM. It's just that IMM environmental activists still do not have the standard ability to educate the public to apply this Takakura technology. The identification results show that there are two problems faced by members of the Muhammadiyah Student Association of Jember Regency, namely first, IMM activists do not understand how Takakura technology works, secondly IMM activists still do not have the skills to apply this Takakura technology. The purpose of this activity is first, to improve the understanding of IMM activists about takukura technology. The second objective is to improve the skills of IMM activists to apply Takakura technology. Methods of Implementation Activities are carried out by preparing tools and materials, providing guidance and counseling, providing and simulating the making of Takakura technology. At the end of the activity, an evaluation of the success of the community service program was carried out. The process and stages of applying Takakura technology given to the Environmental activists of the Muhammadiyah Student Association have been able to improve the ability of participants very significantly. Therefore, this activity is considered to have succeeded in empowering environmental activists of the Muhammadiyah Student Association of Jember Regency.

Abstract

This research explores the causes of defects (reprocessing) in sugar production at PT Sinergi Gula Nusantara using a fishbone diagram approach. The critical factors identified include the lack of discipline and accuracy of employees (human factors), old and damage-prone machines (machine factors), unfavorable working environment conditions, such as hot air temperature and machine noise (work environment factors), and the absence of product standards in the winnowing process (work method factors). This study describes the implications of each factor on the quality of sugar products, proposes improvement solutions, and emphasizes the importance of increased discipline, machine maintenance, improved work environment conditions, and the establishment of product standards to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of sugar production in the company. The results of this study provide a holistic view of the dynamics of sugar production.

Abstract

Revolusi Industri 4.0 mempengaruhi kebijakan pembelajaran pada satuan pendidikan dasar. Pendidik merancang pembelajaran interaktif agar dapat menghasilkan peserta didik yang berprestasi. Pemerintah menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka 2022 untuk menguatkan karakter dan kompetensi peserta didik. Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka menuntut pendidik memiliki kompetensi teknologi dan kurikulum. Kompetensi teknologi berfokus pada kemampuan TIK untuk menciptakan pembelajaran interaktif. Kompetensi kurikulum berfokus pada pengembangan capaian pembelajaran sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran dalam suatu mata pelajaran, dikenal sebagai Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran (ATP). Wawancara bersama mitra SD Muhammadiyah Kaliwates Jember menemukan permasalahan prioritas. Diantaranya adalah sebagian besar Guru kesulitan dalam menyusun dokumen ATP sesuai Kurikulum Merdeka, Tenaga Kependidikan (Tendik) tidak optimal memberikan dukungan teknologi, dan tidak tersedianya web sekolah sebagai media informasi dan promosi. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mengembangkan web sekolah dan dokumen ATP untuk mendukung pembelajaran interaktif dan operasional sekolah. Tim Pelaksana telah melaksanakan sosialisasi program, pengembangan web sekolah, penyusunan dokumen ATP terdiri dari IPAS (IPA dan IPS), Matematika dan Bahasa Inggris, pendampingan pengelolaan web sekolah dan implementasi dokumen ATP dalam pembelajaran, pemberian LCD Proyektor. Hasil kegiatan ini berupa web sekolah dan dokumen ATP yang mengintegrasikan profile sekolah, penerimaan peserta didik baru, ensiklopedia, dan pembelajaran berbasis dokumen ATP. Tim pelaksana sebagai pendamping, sedangkan Guru dan Tendik sebagai peserta. Metode pelatihan, pendampingan dan penugasan digunakan sebagai pendekatan yang efektif. Kegiatan ini berhasil memenuhi tujuan dan luaran yang diharapkan, dan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan promosi sekolah
