Abstract

The mover school program, especially the school human resource strengthening program that has been followed by teachers, is expected to have an impact on the growth mindset of teachers. However, in reality, teachers have not yet maximally possessed growth mindset, so it needs to be improved by carrying out an activity that specifically discusses the topic of growth mindset. In addition, the length of service of teachers also has an impact on teacher performance (in this case the growth mindset of teachers). The purpose of this study was to describe the growth mindset profile of teachers of school drivers in Denpasar City in terms of length of service. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The research sample was 46 elementary school teachers representing five groups of length of service (<5 years, 5-10 years, 11-15 years, 16-20 years, >20 years). Research data were collected using non-test techniques in the form of questionnaires. The research instrument adopted the mindset quiz instrument by Carol Dweck, which consisted of 20 statements with 4 answer choices. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this study found that the growth mindset profile of teachers at mover schools in Denpasar City is generally dominated by a growth mindset with some fixed ideas, and the growth mindset profile of teachers at mover schools in Denpasar City reviewed from the length of service is dominated by a growth mindset with some fixed ideas. The results of this study will have implications for the selection/implementation of teacher quality empowerment programs, especially programs to improve teacher growth mindset.

Abstract

Kurangnya kesediaan buku tutorial pembuatan media pembelajaran yang dimiliki sekolah berpengaruh terhadap rendahnya keterampilan penggunaan teknologi guru. Guru masih kesulitan menemukan pedoman atau acuan yang bisa digunakan dalam menyusun media yang mendukung pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penggunaan Buku Tutorial Pembuatan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis TIK terhadap keterampilan teknologi guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasy experiment dengan jenis post test only control grup design. Desain penelitian ini melibatkan dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Populasi penelitian ini ialah seluruh guru dan staf di salah satu sekolah dasar negeri. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh. Sampel yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini ialah seluruh guru di salah satu sekolah dasar negeri yang cenderung belum fasih menggunakan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah teknik observasi, penilaian kinerja, dan penilaian produk. Data hasil penilaian dikumpulkan dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik interefensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai thitung sebesar 6,55 dengan nilai probabilitas (p) sebesar 0,000, dimana thitung > ttabel (6,55 > 2,30) dan nilai probabilitas (p) < 0,05. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa, inovasi BuTutik memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan penggunaan teknologi guru. Implikasi penelitian ini ialah membantu guru mewujudkan pembelajaran yang berbasis digital serta sangat bermanfaat karena mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang berkualitas.

Abstract

Masalah positive relationship menjadi salah satu aspek yang menjadi sorotan dewasa ini. Salah satu masalah yang terjadi adalah masih lemahnya hubungan antar siswa, termasuk siswa dan guru, terutama siswa Kolok, di SD inklusi N 2 Bengkala. Penyebabnya adalah belum pahamnya guru membina Kesehatan mental siswa dalam pembelajaran. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang berlokasi di SD inklusi N 2 Bengkala melibatkan 12 orang guru. Kegiatan ini mengangkat topik penanganan positive relationship melalui STEM berbasis Etnopedagogi sesuai kesepakatan tim, kepala sekolah, dan guru. Tahapan pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan tahapan Joyce & Shower (1980), yang terdiri dari presentasi teori, pemodelan, praktik, dan pemberian umpan balik. Berdasarkan hasil tes sebelum dan setelah pelatihan, didapatkan peningkatan pengetahuan STEM guru sebesar 28%. Guru juga telah mampu mengimplementasikan STEM di kelas pada topik rangka manusia dengan menyajikan masalah siswa yang tidak bisa berjalan karena patah kaki. Disamping itu, behavioral engagement, cognitive engangement, dan emotional engagement siswa menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

The lack of development of test questions that contain HOTS elements in training students to be able to think at a high-level causes students' higher order thinking skills to be low. So that the demands of the curriculum cannot be achieved optimally. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of HOTS ability instruments for grade VI elementary school students in science subjects to measure students' higher order thinking skills. This research is development research that uses the 4D model. The 4D research model consists of four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subject of this research is HOTS instrument. The object of this research is the quality of the items produced. The data collection techniques used in this research are quantitative observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. In order to test its feasibility, the multiple-choice test instrument was analyzed which included content validity test, item validity test, reliability test, differentiation test, and difficulty test. HOTS-based instruments for grade VI elementary school students in science subjects, get the results of data analysis, namely, the content validity test of the instrument is declared valid, the validity test of the instrument items is declared valid, the reliability test is declared to have high reliability, the average result of the test of differential power is included in the good criteria, and the test of the level of difficulty is included in the medium criteria. From the tests that have been carried out, the HOTS ability instrument for grade VI elementary school students in science subjects is suitable for measuring students' higher order thinking skills.

Abstract

Science learning achievement is low in some elementry schools in Bali and it is suspected that learning process is one of the factors that has caused this. Hence, there is a need for innovations in learning to improve learning process which has so far taken place (conventional). This study wasa aimed at finnding out the difference in science learning achievement  between students who are taught  through contextual learning which uses three dimension media and those who are taught through conventional learning..this is a quasi-experimental research with non equivalent post-test only control group design. The population used in this study was the fourth grade students af elementary schools in Gugus 1 Singaraja with the total number of eight schools. The sample in this study was selected  using  random sampling. Out of the eight schools in Gugus 1 Singaraja, two schools wereselected, namely SD No. 5 Banyuning as experiment group and SD No.6 Banyuning as conrol group.. the data gathered inthis study was in the form of science learning achievement. The instrument used to collect the data was an objective test or multiple choice.  The data were analyzed  using inferential statistics or t-test.  The result showed that  science learning achievement in the group where  three dimension media were used  had  the mean score of 20.75 , which is higher than  the group where conventional learning was used , whose mean score was 17. 08. This result  was confirmed by hypothesis testing in which it was obtained that tobs. > tc.v.. This means that  the implementation of contextual  learning approach  which was aided with three dimenisionmedia had  a positive effect on  science learning achivement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan memecahkan masalah Matematika antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model Polya dan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran tidak menggunakan model Polya pada siswa kelas V SD di Gugus I Airlangga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain post test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas V SD di Gugus I Airlangga Kecamatan Mendoyo yang berjumlah 11 kelas dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 183 orang. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode tes. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa tes uraian. Data yang telah dikumpulkan, dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif yaitu dengan menghitung mean, median, dan modus, serta analisis statistik inferensial yaitu menggunakan uji-t (polled varians). Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan memecahkan masalah Matematika antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model Polya dan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran tidak menggunakan model Polya.

Abstract

Tujuan  pengabdian  kepada  masyarakat  ini  adalah  untuk  meningkatkan  kemampuan guru-guru sekolah dasar di Gugus II Kecamatan Tejakula dalam penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran  bermuatan kebudayaan  lokal untuk pendidikan  karakter bangsa melalui kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan dan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru-guru sekolah dasar di Gugus II Kecamatan Tejakula dalam mengimplementasikan perangkat pembelajaran  bermuatan kebudayaan  lokal untuk pendidikan  karakter bangsa melalui kegiatan pendampingan. Kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah pelatihan penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis kebudayaan lokal untuk pendidikan karakter bangsa bagi guru-guru Gugus II Kecamatan Tejakula, dan pendampingan yang dilakukan  secara bertahap  dan berkelanjutan.  Metode-metode  yang digunakan  adalah metode pelatihan dan metode pembinaan serta pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah: 1) terjadinya peningkatan kemampuan guru-guru sekolah dasar di Gugus II Kecamatan Tejakula dalam penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran bermuatan kebudayaan lokal untuk pendidikan karakter bangsa setelah diberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Abstract

This research aims is to determine the differences of activity and learning outcomes of science between groups of students who were taught by learning Quantum assisted games and groups of students who were taught not with learning Quantum assisted game to elementary school students in V grade  at Gugus II Santalia,  Kubutambahan district, in academic year 2016/2017. This type of research is quasi experiment, with non equivalent design post test only control group design. The population in this study is the entire class V of elementary school in gugus II Santalia. The research sample in class V elementary school number 1 Kubutambahan as experimental group and class V elementary school number 7 Kubutambahan as control group obtained by random sampling technique by way of class lottery. Analytical  methods that used in this study consist of  descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using the t-test (polled variance). The results showed that there was a difference of activity and learning outcomes between the experimental group and the control group. The findings are that students become more active, enthusiastic, and happy during the learning process. In addition the steps of learning Quantum help students more easily understand the material. Thus the learning of Quantum-assisted games has an effect on the activity and learning outcomes of science students of grade V in Gugus II Santalia Kubutambahan distric of academic year 2016/2017

Abstract

Kurangnya ketersedian media pembelajaran yang dapat guru gunakan dalam pembelajaran daring menyebabkan guru jarang menggunakan media pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran daring sehingga menyulitkan siswa dalam memahami materi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi KODI pada topik cuaca dan iklim di Indonesia kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu ADDIE. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 4 orang ahli, keempat orang tersebut terdiri atas 2 orang ahli isi dan 2 orang ahli media, 2 orang guru sebagai praktisi, serta 5 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen lembar observasi, kuesioner/angket, lembar studi dokumen, pedoman wawancara, dan rating scale. Data validasi isi yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan rumus Indeks Validitas Aiken. Dari perhitungan Indeks Validitas Aiken adalah  0,75-1, dengan kategori validasi sedang hingga tinggi. Berdasarkan perhitungan persentase respon, aplikasi KODI mendapat persentase respon guru adalah 90,4% dan respon siswa 96%. Kualifikasi respon tersebut adalah pada kategori sangat baik. Aplikasi komik digital (KODI) dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya pada materi topik cuaca dan iklim di Indonesia sehiingga dapat memberikan siswa pengalaman belajar baru dan tidak bosan saat mengikuti pembelajaran karena komik digital disesian dengan menggunakan animasi yang dapat menarik minat siswa.

Abstract

Higher-order thinking skills are needed in dealing with 21st-century learning. The teacher's role is crucial in improving students' higher-order thinking skills. However, implementing HOTS-based questions is rarely used by teachers who have or have not held professional status. This study analyzes teachers' difficulties in compiling HOTS-based questions regarding professional status. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach. The population in this study were all teachers in Cluster. Sampling in this study was carried out by cluster sampling, then proportional random sampling in each Cluster. The sample in this study was 34 teachers, who were divided into two groups, namely teachers who had not yet held professional status and had. Data collection used an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics in mean, standard deviation, and percentages converted to PAP. The results of this study were that teachers who are not yet professional in compiled HOTS-based questions were in the very high category, while the difficulties of teachers who already hold professional status in compiled HOTS-based questions were in the high category. Teachers who are not yet professional in compiling HOTS-based questions have difficulty understanding cognitive levels, determining cognitive levels, choosing KKO, and compiling contextual stimuli. For teachers with professional status, the difficulties experienced are chosen KKO, compiled contextual stimuli, and compiled stimuli that are easy for students to understand.
