Additionally, it aims to enable them to withstand market competition. Methodology: The focus group discussion (FGD) approach was used to conduct FGDs with business stakeholders in Purworejo village to discuss, exchange ideas, and formulate better business development steps. Training and Mentoring are also implemented for business stakeholders in BUMDES and SMEs to enhance managerial and marketing skills. Results: The research results indicate the success of educational activities in enhancing participants' knowledge and understanding of digital marketing and content. Although there is still room for improvement, this education has shown a positive impact on equipping participants with relevant skills and insights in the era of digital marketing and Industry 4.0 revolution. Limitations: The limitation of this service lies in the participants' infrastructure, in which each participant is not proficient in using digital tools. Furthermore, this service's limitation is only focused on the conventional-to-digital transition process and content creation, without delving deeper into monitoring the development of targeted Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). The hope for the future is to continuously enhance and optimize this educational program to support the development of participants in facing the challenges of an increasingly digital and competitive business world. Contribution: This service is beneficial to the community, as it assists Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) and Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in harnessing digital media in the region, unlocking its potential to enhance family income and boost the local economy.

Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the influence of managerial capabilities on investor reactions in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2000 to 2022. Using panel data from 80 companies and employing regression analysis, the study explores how managerial ability impacts abnormal returns (AR) and trading volume activity (TVA). The results reveal that managerial capabilities significantly and negatively affect AR, suggesting that competent management enhances investor confidence and corporate performance, leading to increased returns. However, managerial ability does not have a significant impact on TVA, indicating that investor reactions in terms of trading activity may be influenced by other factors, such as macroeconomic conditions or short-term financial performance. The findings support previous research on the importance of management quality in shaping investor behavior but highlight the different ways managerial skills influence market outcomes. The study contributes to understanding how managerial decisions affect stock market performance and provides implications for both investors and corporate managers in fostering investor trust and sustainable business growth.

Abstract

This study examines the presence of the Monday effect in companies listed in the IDX30 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from February 2018 to January 2023. The Monday effect is a market anomaly where stock returns on Mondays tend to be systematically different from other trading days. This phenomenon, if proven, challenges the efficient market hypothesis. The main research problem is whether the Monday effect exists in IDX30 stocks during the specified period. The study aims to provide empirical evidence regarding this anomaly in the Indonesian stock market. The research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing secondary data in the form of daily stock closing prices. The sample consists of 15 companies that were consistently listed in the IDX30 index throughout the study period, selected through a purposive sampling method. The analysis is conducted using the One-Way ANOVA test with SPSS 27 statistical software to compare stock returns across different trading days. The findings confirm the presence of the Monday effect in IDX30-listed stocks, indicating that stock returns on Mondays exhibit statistically significant differences compared to other days. These results suggest that behavioral factors and market inefficiencies may influence stock price movements in the IDX30 index. This study contributes to the literature on stock market anomalies and provides insights for investors and policymakers regarding trading strategies and market efficiency in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study seeks to analyze the impact of environmental performance, environmental expenses, and company size on the financial performance of food and beverage firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2022. The study utilized multiple linear regression analysis on a sample of 100 data points from 20 firms. The findings indicate that environmental performance adversely and significantly impacts financial performance, suggesting that enhancements in environmental performance diminish firm profitability. Environmental expenses adversely and significantly impact financial performance, indicating that increased environmental expenditures have not yielded commensurate financial rewards. Simultaneously, business size exerts a positive and considerable influence on financial performance, indicating that organizations with greater assets are more adept at generating profits. This study underscores the significance of efficient environmental cost management systems and the necessity of reconciling environmental social responsibility with business financial objectives. Moreover, larger enterprises possess enhanced chances to retain stability and improve their performance in response to the escalating demands for sustainable business practices.

Abstract

Decisions regarding dividend payment policy represent a key aspect of corporate governance, closely tied to the active involvement of board members. These decisions are often shaped by the firm's ownership structure. The growing presence of women in managerial roles further emphasizes their influence in strategic decision-making, including dividend-related choices. This study investigates the impact of board size, ownership structure, and female board representation on dividend policy among companies listed in the Kompas 100 index from 2019 to 2023, grounded in agency theory and corporate governance principles. Using multiple linear regression, the research analyzes the dividend payout ratio as the dependent variable, with independent variables including managerial, family, institutional, and government ownership, along with board size and female board representation. The findings reveal that board size, ownership structure, and female board membership collectively influence dividend policy. However, individually, ownership structure shows no significant impact, while both board size and female representation exhibit a significant positive effect on dividend policy, suggesting that larger boards and greater female participation contribute positively to dividend decisions.
