Abstract

Mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar merupakan calon pendidik yang nantinya akan mengemban tugas sangat berat dalam mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa manakala sudah terjun pada jenjang sekolah dasar untuk mengabdikan dirinya sebagai seorang guru. Begitu banyak permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh seorang siswa sehingga guru harus mampu meningkatkan berbagai aspek yang dibutuhkan termasuk salah satunya merupakan aspek sosial sebagai habitat tempat siswa berinteraksi. Peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa yang akan menjadi seorang guru perlu diberikan dari semenjak duduk dibangku perkuliahan sehingga diharapkan akan menghasilkan seorang guru yang benar-benar mampu menjawab kebutuhan siswa. Siswa sekolah dasar merupakan pondasi sebagai titik awal dalam menginjakkan kakinya pada jenjang pendidikan formal sehingga bentuk interaksi dan komunikasi siswa akan terbangun melalui kondisi yang mereka hadapi. Pembelajaran yang bersifat menyenangkan pada konteks permainan akan sangat membantu siswa untuk meningkatkan kepekaan dan kepedulian antar sesama selain ilmu pengetahuan yang disampaikan seorang guru. Pembelajaran berbasis permainan olahraga dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif dalam meningkatkan aspek sosial siswa

Abstract

Guru berperan dalam membentuk kepribadian siswa, untuk menjadi seorang guru harus menyelesaikan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan di jenjang perguruan tinggi. Tantangan guru saat ini bukan hanya sekedar transfer ilmu pengetahuan saja, akan tetapi nilai karakter dan perilaku sosial yang baik juga penting dan tidak boleh diabaikan. Perilaku sosial akan memberikan dampak yang positif jika diwujudkan melalui perbuatan yang baik dan begitu pula sebaliknya. Aspek dalam membentuk perilaku sosial siswa sekolah dasar dapat dilakukan melalui permainan dan olah raga yang dikonseptualisasikan sedemikian rupa sehingga mampu menciptakan komunikasi dan interaksi yang baik. Nilai-nilai sosial yang ada dapat dijadikan sebagai sarana pembentukan perilaku siswa sekaligus penanaman nilai-nilai karakter. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar adalah karena mereka adalah calon guru yang nantinya akan mengemban tugas penting dalam menciptakan siswa yang berakhlak mulia dan berbudi luhur, oleh karena itu sangat penting untuk menambah pengetahuan siswa salah satunya dapat dilakukan melalui bentuk permainan dan olah raga yang dijadikan sebagai sarana pendidikan dalam mengimplementasikan aspek perilaku sosial yang baik.

Abstract

  Penelitian ini menginvestigasi penggunaan metode cerita bergambar untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswa kelas II sekolah dasar dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas metode ini dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam membaca. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan cerita bergambar secara signifikan mempengaruhi minat baca siswa, seperti terlihat dari partisipasi aktif mereka dalam kegiatan membaca dan pemahaman materi pelajaran. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menyarankan integrasi metode cerita bergambar dalam strategi pengajaran Bahasa Indonesia di tingkat sekolah dasar untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi siswa. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode cerita bergambar apakah dapat meningkatkan minat baca siswa kelas II. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa siswa menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam antusiasme mereka terhadap membaca setelah diperkenalkannya cerita bergambar.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, adaptability and entrepreneurial skills have become increasingly important. This research examines the role of Market Day as an effective method for instilling entrepreneurial values ​​among elementary school students. The study results show that Market Day not only provides practical skills in the business world, but also encourages student character development, including increasing creativity, independence, courage to take risks, and a sense of responsibility. Through hands-on experience in planning, production, marketing, and sales, students gain deeper insight into the world of business as well as improve their social skills, such as communication and teamwork. The findings show that Market Day contributes significantly to the development of entrepreneurial character, preparing students with the skills necessary to face future challenges. However, implementing Market Day also faces various challenges, such as limited resources and the need for support from teachers and parents. Therefore, this research emphasizes the importance of integrating this kind of activity into the school curriculum to form a generation of innovative and responsible entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Reading is considered a basic knowledge that must be possessed by someone, by reading someone can learn various things, starting from science, history, culture, to various other aspects of life. By reading can open one's insight and expand one's knowledge about various things in the world. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of using serial image media based on 3D dioramas in increasing the reading interest of elementary school students. With the hope that if students' reading interest increases, student learning outcomes will also increase. This study uses a classroom action research method where the subjects of the study were 31 students of grade I of Tegalsari 5 Elementary School. The results of the study show an increase in students' reading interest by using serial image media based on 3D dioramas.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors behind students experiencing difficulties in reading in class V of SD Muhammadiyah Kranggan. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. The subjects of this research were V grade students who had difficulty reading, 5 students out of a total of 15 students, class teachers and parents who were also respondents in this research. This research was conducted in July of the 2022–2023 academic year. Students, teachers and parents will be interviewed and observed as data sources for data collection in this research. Based on the findings in this research, there are internal and external factors that contribute to students' reading difficulties. The internal factors are physiological, cognitive and psychological. Meanwhile, external factors are parents, educators and the environment.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid and reliable emotional control skills instrument for elementary school students. Emotional control is one of the essential skills in supporting children's learning success and social adaptation. The method used is research and development (R&D) with the Borg & Gall model, which includes the stages of preliminary study, instrument design, expert validation, limited testing, and field testing. The test subjects consisted of 30 fifth-grade elementary school students. The developed instrument consisted of 40 statements, of which 25 were found to be valid based on indicators of children's emotional control skills. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to students and assessed using Cronbach's Alpha internal reliability test. The analysis results showed a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.846, which is higher than (α > 0.6), indicating that the instrument has a high level of reliability. These findings reinforce that the instrument is suitable for use as an assessment tool to measure emotional control skills consistently and accurately in elementary school students. This study contributes to providing an applicable and contextual psychopedagogical measurement tool for the elementary education environment.

Abstract

Developing critical thinking and communication skills is essential for prospective teachers in facing the demands of 21st-century education. Case-Based Learning (CBL) provides authentic problem contexts that encourage active discussion, collaboration, and reasoning. This study examined the effect of CBL on team communication skills in the Social Science Education course for PGSD students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kendal Batang (UMKABA). A quantitative descriptive design with a pre-test–posttest approach was used, involving 24 students selected through saturation sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires supported by observations and interviews, and analyzed using paired sample t-tests. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ team communication skills after CBL implementation. The average communication score increased from 66.33% (Good) in the pre-test to 81.83% (Very Good) in the posttest (t = -19.728, p 0.001). Improvements were also observed in collaboration and interaction indicators, demonstrating that CBL fostered active participation, constructive dialogue, and teamwork. These results confirm that CBL effectively enhances not only students’ cognitive engagement but also their interpersonal skills, which are critical for future teachers. The findings align with constructivist learning theory, emphasizing that meaningful knowledge is developed through collaborative and interactive processes. CBL significantly improves PGSD students’ communication, collaboration, and interaction skills in social science education. This study suggests that integrating CBL into teacher education curricula can strengthen graduates’ readiness as adaptive and communicative educators.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are a crucial pillar of regional economic development, including in Caruban Village, Ringinarum District. One growing MSME is Abon Buana, which faces challenges in expanding its product promotional reach to compete in an increasingly competitive market. Utilizing digital marketing is a strategic solution to increase promotional effectiveness while expanding its target market. This study aims to analyze the role of digital marketing in developing promotional activities for Abon Buana. The method used was descriptive qualitative through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of digital marketing, particularly through social media (Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp Business) and marketplace platforms, contributes significantly to introducing products to the wider public, increasing interaction with consumers, and strengthening brand image. Creative content strategies tailored to local and global consumer trends have proven effective in attracting buyers. However, challenges include limited technology management capabilities, consistent content creation, and the need for ongoing mentoring. Thus, digital marketing plays a crucial role in strengthening the promotion of Abon Buana's MSMEs in Caruban Village, Ringinarum District, while also opening up opportunities to increase competitiveness in a broader market

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of Mindfulness-Based Learning (MBL) in enhancing emotional regulation and learning concentration among elementary school students. The research is motivated by the declining attention span and emotional stability of students in the digital era, which affects the learning process. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed in this study. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation conducted at SD Negeri Kranggan 02, Batang Regency, Indonesia. The research participants consisted of the principal, a fifth-grade teacher, and fifteen fifth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. The findings reveal that the implementation of Mindfulness-Based Learning, through activities such as mindful breathing, self-reflection, and brief moments of silence, helps students calm themselves, become aware of their emotions, and improve their learning concentration during classroom activities. Both teachers and students reported a calmer and more conducive classroom environment. These findings indicate that Mindfulness-Based Learning has the potential to be an effective instructional approach to support emotional regulation and learning concentration in elementary education, in line with the social-emotional development goals of the Merdeka Curriculum.
