Abstract

Abstract

Tin-based halide perovskites have recently attracted attention as promising alternatives to toxic lead-based perovskites for solar cell applications. This study aims to investigate the electronic and optical properties of cesium tin hexaiodide (Cs2SnI6) and to elucidate its functional role in perovskite solar cells, particularly in determining whether it is more suitable as a light absorber or as a hole transport material (HTM). For comparison, the properties of cesium tin tri-iodide (CsSnI₃) are also systematically analyzed using Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations within the Perdew-Burke-Ernzerhof (PBE) functional and Heyd-Scuseria-Ernzerhof 2006 (HSE06) hybrid functional frameworks. While previous theoretical studies have predominantly examined these materials separately, a comprehensive understanding of the role of defect-induced intermediate bands in Cs2snI6 remains limited. The results reveal that CsSnI₃ exhibits a direct band gap, while Cs₂SnI₆ shows an intermediate band (IB) located between the valence band maximum (VBM) and conduction band minimum (CBM). The calculated band gap of Cs₂SnI₆ is 0.28 eV using PBE and 0.82 eV using HSE06, confirming the role of Sn(5s) and I(5p) states in the IB formation. Furthermore, optical property calculations further demonstrate that Cs₂SnI₆ exhibits a relatively high dielectric constant and distinct absorption features associated with interband transitions, although with lower absorption intensity compared to CsSnI₃. These findings suggest that CsSnI₃ is suitable as a light absorber, whereas Cs₂SnI₆ is more favorable as an HTM in perovskite solar cell architectures. Overall, this work offers new insights into the functional role of Cs₂SnI₆ and its potential contribution for efficient lead-free perovskite solar cells.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and measure teacher performance as assessed by school principals in an educational institution. Where what is done is how the leadership style and managerial competence of the school principal through interpersonal communication based on the STIFIn concept affects the performance of teachers at Integrated Islamic Schools in Cilegon City. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research, where research is carried out by collecting and analyzing data such as interviews, observations and document analysis. The results of our research are how the principal sees a case in which each teacher has varying performance, some of the teachers' performance complies with institutional rules, some lack discipline, lack of understanding of communication, and there are still teachers who cannot work as a team well. There are also teachers who ignore time. Therefore, researchers see this as more important and more important to measure the performance of teachers/employees which will later be used as a comparison before supervision is carried out and after supervision is carried out. Where we hope by measuring the extent to which hopes and achievements can be in accordance with what is expected, namely with the Vision and Mission that exists and applies in the school. Hopefully it can inspire and become a benchmark in the same experience.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the important role of school principals in improving teacher performance, which in turn has an impact on the overall quality of education. Work culture is considered a mediating factor that can strengthen or weaken the relationship between leadership and principal competence and teacher performance. This research aims to analyze the influence of principal leadership and principal competence on teacher performance through work culture in State Elementary Schools in Pontang District, Serang Regency. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. Data was collected through 135 questionnaires distributed to teachers at State Elementary Schools in Pontang District. Data analysis was carried out using multiple regression statistical techniques and path analysis to test the relationship between variables. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the principal's leadership (X1) and the principal's competence (X2) and work culture (Y) have a significant positive influence of 84.0% on teacher performance (Z) in State Elementary Schools in Pontang District, Regency. Attack. This means that teacher performance is influenced by 84.0% by the three exogenous variables, namely Principal Leadership, Principal Competency and Work Culture, while the remaining 16.0% is influenced by other variables outside the variables tested in this thesis model. These findings underline the need for special attention to developing work culture in the school environment as part of a strategy to improve teacher performance

Abstract

The availability of local information resources is essential to help the public identify and access a particular location. Road signs can serve as a source of information that helps residents, newcomers, and visitors find specific neighborhoods, particularly those organized into administrative units known as RT and RW. Based on initial observations in Padasuka Village, there is still a need for directional signs that provide clear and easily recognizable information on the locations of RT/RW. Therefore, the project to create RT/RW directional signs was carried out as part of the Student Fieldwork Program (KKM) at Bina Bangsa University. This project aims to provide information that will make it easier for the residents of Padasuka Village to identify and access different areas within the village. Abstract

One of the objectives of this study is to identify and analyze problems that have an impact on increasing productivity in cajuput oil production. The method used Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) is used to determine the most effective maintenance approach based on system reliability, using the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Logic Tree Analysis (LTA) approaches in order to overcome ambiguity and uncertainty in risk assessment. The results of the study using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method, there are failures that are a priority for improvement based on the risk priority number (RPN) value. The highest RPN values are Labeling Machines, Filling Machines, Capping Machines with RPN values of 294, 288 and 252 in the high criticality category. The maintenance carried out is routine checks after and before using the tool or machine, carrying out Checks and maintenance according to the Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication, Tighting (CILT) checksheet. The downtime rate from July to August 2024 decreased by 4.72%, previously the weekly downtime rate was 19.09% after 2 weeks the downtime rate dropped to 14.37%. Shows that the selection of the maintenance model has been successful in increasing the reliability, efficiency and overall performance of the system.

Abstract

The simulation in this research investigates the possibility of using the walls of the rectorate building on the Bina Bangsa campus to install a wall area solar energy system. The building walls are simulated, becoming a representation of the walls of other buildings. PLTS electricity calculations use an interconnected Solar Power Plant [PLTS] system. Research shows that the building has a wall area of 10,353 m2 which can be used to install solar panels. The total electrical power produced in the area is 2030 kWp or 2.03 MWp. The power is divided into four, namely 630 kWp east of the roof, 535 kWp northwest, 668 kWp southwest and 553 kWp southeast.
