Abstract

Kalangan perempuan nelayan di Gampong Rantoe Panjang Timur merupakan salah satu kelompok masyarakat yang dapat diberdayakan untuk pengembangan masyarakat. Salah satu aspek yang urgen untuk ditingkatkan adalah literasi digital. Literasi digital merupakan salah satu aspek yang perlu dimiliki oleh masyarakat untuk dapat menyesuaikan perkembangan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi. Dengan adanya literasi digital, kalangan perempuan nelayan dapat memanfaatkan media digital terutama media baru sebagai sarana pengembangan perekonomian dan eksistensi diri. Peningkatan literasi digital terhadap kalangan perempuan nelayan dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi, yaitu penekanan pada dua model: 1) Penyampaian Materi, dan 2) Focus Group Discussion. Beberapa aspek yang ditekankan pada proses sosialisasi ini adalah penekanan pada 3M (Materi, Media, Metode). Materi berkaitan dengan apa pesan atau informasi yang dapat diolah dan diterima oleh kalangan perempuan nelayan, media berkaitan dengan media apa yang dapat digunakan, dan metode berkaitan dengan cara yang paling tepat dan efektif dalam memanfaatkan media yang ada.

Abstract

Language is an important element in communicating both individually and in social groups that exist in society, especially in public services such as the Dayah Education Office of West Aceh Regency, as a public service body requires the use of good and correct language, especially in Aceh where the majority of the people adhere to Islam and of course can refer to the Koran and Hadith. The method used in this community service is in the form of counseling and socialization by using a discussion system for anything that has not been understood. In this service activity, many errors were found in public services, especially in the use of communication language used by employees and staff at the Dayah Education Office of West Aceh Regency, with this counseling, as well as learning to improve better services, especially in the use of communication languages based on the Qur'an and Hadith. The use of appropriate and good language will also affect the image of a public institution, because the people who are served will feel comfortable and appreciated.

Abstract

Evaluation of the Medium Term Development Plan (RPJM) of Nagan Raya Regency for 2017-2022 is information that generally describes the general description of the results of the assessment of the RPJM regarding the achievement of Financial Performance and Analysis of Achievement Indicators of vision and mission, substance in accordance with targets and performance indicators as well as RPJM Systematics as materials to support development planning in Nagan Raya Regency in the future. This paper aims to see the results of the Nagan Raya Regency RPJM Evaluation which objectively provides an assessment with the data presented sourced from the Nagan Raya Regency RPJM documents for 2017-2022 and other planning documents for accountable comparisons for improving the quality of development planning in the future. come.

Abstract

Information is everyone's need, and the right to obtain information is a human right, Law Number 14 of 2008 provides a legal basis for everyone to have the right to obtain public information. PPID plays an important role in service and provision of information, PPID must carry out its role and communication strategy effectively and efficiently in order to realize the implementation of UU KIP. This study uses the Laswell communication model, with field research methods, and qualitative descriptive analysis, interview data collection techniques, observations and complementary data. The research was carried out at the Communication, Information and Encryption Office of West Aceh Regency, specifically the Documentation Information Management Officer (PPID), who appointed 2 informants, namely the head of the Public Communications Division and the Head of the PPID Section. The results of this research explain that the West Aceh District Communication, Information and Encryption Service, which is the Main PPID, has its role in accordance with Law Number 14 of 2008, PPID has carried out its duties, functions and steps in accordance with the requirements of the KIP Law, and regarding operations and the mechanism of Information Services is quite good and satisfactory and facilitates the community. PPID has implemented its communication strategy in socializing to the community by forming the Gampong Information Group (KIG), which is very useful for the community in terms of information services.

Abstract

Keterampilan menulis yang bersifat produktif sangat membantu kesuksesan belajar dan karir seseorang. Penulisan kreatif adalah salah satu kegiatan yang di dalamnya menyediakan keterampilan menulis sehingga tulisan yang dihasilkan menjadi lebih menarik. Pelatihan ini melibatkan mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Teuku Umar.Peserta diharapkan semakin meningkatkan kemauandan kemampuannya dalam menulis sehingga peluang untuk mempublikasikan hasil tulisan kreatif merekan baik secara cetak maupun online semakin terbuka. Pelatihan inidilakukan secara menarik dan menyenangkan dengan penggunaan media laptop dan LCD. Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah juga dilengkapi dengan pelatihanyang dilakukan dengan cara penyampaian yang persuasif, diskusi dan praktik langsung yang dibagi menjadi tiga sesi, yakni imajinasi, fiksi dan ekspresi. Setelah dilakukan pelatihan terlihat adanya peningkatan kemampuan dan kemauannya khususnya di bidang pembuatan puisi dan cerita pendek yang tercipta dalam waktu sangat singkat.

Abstract

This research looks at how Papuan students' self-concept creates motivation for themselves to be confident in initiating intercultural communication for the first time. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods with data sources divided into two, namely primary and secondary data sources. Primary data were collected through in-depth interviews and secondary data were obtained through researchers' readings. The informants selected were Papuan students who were selected based on purposive sampling techniques. From the results of the research obtained, Papuan students lack trust and lack motivation to carry out intercultural interaction and communication for the first time. Although intercultural communication for the first time has difficulties, thanks to positive indications of self-concept, they are able to reduce and be able to create motivation for themselves to be confident in starting interactions with friends and people around them who have different cultural backgrounds with them.

Abstract

In this study, the researcher examines the communication strategy carried out by the Public Relations of the Nagan Raya Regional Secretariat in maximizing website-based public services and what factors support and hinder in carrying out services with an online system. In this study, the researcher applied a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach and the determination of informants through purposive sampling with data collection techniques through direct observation to the field, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research conducted by researchers indicate that, the main strategy carried out by the Public Relations of the Nagan Raya Regional Secretariat in providing information to the public is to utilize information technology effectively, namely through the website of the local government of nagan raya kab.go.id which is managed by the Public Relations of the Regional Secretariat by forming an Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) SKPD, then Public Relations continue to maintain good relations with the public and the mass media, so that it becomes a strategy to support the Public Relations Secretariat in providing information to the public. In this case, the inhibiting factor, both in providing and accessing online-based services, is inadequate network disruption. While the supporting factors, the Nagan Raya district government agencies and other parties continue to provide support and encouragement to create excellent service using an online system. It is believed that the existence of online-based services can make it easier for the public to access various information within the government. We can see various regional information and we can access it quickly through this link.Keywords: Communication Strategy, Information System, Service.
