Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the impact of profitability (ROE), leverage (DAR), and capital structure (DER) on firm value (PBV) in energy sector companies for the 2019-2022 period. The data used in this study are secondary data in the form of financial reports obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sample of this study used purposive sampling method and obtained data as many as 28 energy companies that met the predetermined criteria. The analysis method in this study uses regression analysis method. The results of the data analysis conducted show that profitability impacts firm value, while leverage and capital structure have no impact on firm value.

Abstract

This study assesses a methodology for improving HR performance using affective Commitment and Islamic work ethics as modifying factors. 59 instructors who have taught at Islamic-based schools in Kawedanan Boja for more than five years responded to the questionnaire, providing the data for this study. Then, to estimate the causal association between variables, this data-gathering technique employs path analysis, which is an extension of multiple regression or regression analysis. The findings of this study suggest that the Islamic work ethic directly improves HR performance. Using affective Commitment as an intervention variable, the Islamic work ethic also positively affects HR performance since the stronger the Islamic work ethic, the higher the affective Commitment, which affects HR performance. Keywords: HR performance, Islamic work ethics, affective Commitment

Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze the influence of leadership, work environment, and work discipline on performance. This research uses purposive sampling, with 80 respondents as the research sample. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis in this research was conducted using SPSS version 25. Based on the results of data processing, it was shown that the leadership and work discipline variables had a positive but not significant effect on performance, while the work environment variable had a positive and significant impact on performance.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of knowledge-sharing culture in higher education institutions on knowledge-hiding behavior in lecturers. Second, we tested the influence of ethical leadership on knowledge-hiding behavior in lecturers. This research was designed as explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all lecturers spread throughout Indonesia, with a sample size of 150 people. The data collection technique uses a survey method by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Data analysis was carried out using validity and reliability tests. Hypothesis testing used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) technique with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results of data analysis prove H1 and H2, where a culture of knowledge sharing and ethical leadership has a negative effect on knowledge hiding. The research results contribute to developing literature on knowledge hiding, especially in higher education. These results also contribute practically, especially to higher education institutions, in anticipating the emergence of the knowledge-hiding phenomenon among lecturers.

Abstract

This study was conducted due to the scarcity of literature examining the impact of knowledge sharing climate on knowledge hiding. In line with that, many previous studies have focused on positive ethical leadership as an antecedent of knowledge hiding. However, no one has tested the moderating role of ethical leadership in helping to prevent knowledge-hiding intentions. This study aims to examine the influence of knowledge-sharing climate in organizations on knowledge-hiding behavior in the higher education sector and to test the moderating effect of ethical leadership in strengthening the influence of knowledge-sharing culture on knowledge-hiding behavior in the higher education sector. Data were collected from 156 lecturers from various state and private universities in Indonesia through a survey method. Data analysis was conducted using the SEM-PLS technique. The results showed a negative influence of knowledge sharing climate on knowledge hiding. Ethical leadership was proven to moderate the relationship based on the perceptions of several sample groups, except for the sample group with the generation category. This study contributes theoretically to complement the still limited literature that reviews the impact of a knowledge-sharing climate in preventing the emergence of knowledge-hiding behavior. Practically, the results suggest the need to implement ethical leadership to minimize the knowledge-hiding behavior of lecturers in higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of training and development, job satisfaction, and compensation on employee retention. The research employs a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires as a data collection technique. The sampling method used is a census sampling technique, with a total of 87 respondents who are employees of PT Kuangyu Motors. The data analysis technique involves multiple linear regression analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics software. The results indicate that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee retention, whereas training and development, as well as compensation, do not have a significant impact on employee retention at PT Kuangyu Motors.  Keywords: Training And Development, Job Satisfaction, Compensation, Employee Retention

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image, service quality, and price perception on customer satisfaction at Barberking Barbershop in Semarang City. This analysis represents a strategic initiative to enhance competitiveness and maintain customer loyalty in the face of intense competition within the barbershop service industry. A quantitative approach was employed in this study, utilizing a field survey in the form of a questionnaire with a Likert Scale. The sampling technique used was non-probability (purposive sampling), with a sample size of 100 respondents. The analysis tool for this study was multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that brand image does not significantly influence customer satisfaction at Barberking Barbershop in Semarang City. In contrast, service quality and price perception had a significant impact on customer satisfaction. Further analysis revealed that 72% of the variability in customer satisfaction can be explained by the three independent variables: brand image, service quality, and price perception. Improvements in service aspects such as cleanliness, security, staff friendliness, and responsiveness to customer complaints are recommended to enhance customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is an option for the younger generation in creating a better economy. However, knowledge about entrepreneurship is still limited, especially among the younger generation, especially in the Karang Taruna RW 5, Salaman Mloyo, Semarang. Activities currently carried out by Karangtaruna include social activities such as sorting rubbish, holding certain activities such as commemorating August 17 and other activities. In order to develop an entrepreneurial spirit in members, various activities and training are needed to increase members' skills. Based on this, the service activity carried out is to foster an entrepreneurial spirit through the creativity of snack bouquets for teenagers from Karangtaruna RW 5, Salaman Mloyo, Semarang. The aim of this activity is to improve the entrepreneurial spirit and develop innovation in youth organizations. The expected results of this activity are the growth of the entrepreneurial spirit, increased insight into entrepreneurship and the growth of innovation for members of Karang Taruna RW 5, Salaman Mloyo, Semarang.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Aspek kepuasan kerja pegawai menjadi salah satu faktor utama dalam mendukung kinerja sebuah organisasi, yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai aspek seperti komunikasi serta kepemimpinan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan dan komunikasi terhadap tingkat kepuasan kerja pegawai di Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data, melibatkan 48 pegawai sebagai sampel. Analisis yang dilakukan memperoleh hasil yang memperlihatkan bahwasannya baik kepemimpinan maupun komunikasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada kepuasan kerja, dengan kontribusi sebesar 46,3%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwasannya gaya kepemimpinan gaya kepemimpinan yang terbuka serta pola komunikasi yang efektif mampu meningkatkan kepuasan kerja pegawai, meskipun masih terdapat faktor-faktor lainnya di luar dua variabel ini yang juga perlu diperhatikan.   Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan, Komunikasi, Kepuasan Kerja.   ABSTRACT   Employee job satisfaction is one of the key factors in supporting organizational performance, influenced by various elements such as communication and leadership. The objective of this study is to analyze the influence of leadership and communication on the level of job satisfaction among employees at the Department of Youth and Sports of Semarang City. This research employs a quantitative approach with a survey method, using a questionnaire as the data collection instrument and involving 48 employees as the sample. The analysis reveals that both leadership and communication have a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, contributing 46.3%. It can be concluded that an open leadership style and effective communication patterns can enhance employee job satisfaction, although there are other contributing factors beyond these two variables that also warrant attention.   Keywords : Leadership, Communication, Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktualisasi diri dan membangun interaksi sosial bagi anak difabel di Roemah Difabel Semarang. Melalui pendekatan kreatif berupa aktivitas mewarnai, kegiatan ini dirancang sebagai media ekspresi diri yang menyenangkan dan inklusif antara penyandang disabilitas dan mahasiswa. Anak-anak difabel diajak berpartisipasi dalam aktivitas kelompok mewarnai tas kanvas, di mana mereka dikenalkan pada warna-warna dasar serta proses mencampur warna untuk menghasilkan variasi warna baru. Aktivitas ini tidak hanya merangsang kreativitas dan keterampilan motorik, tetapi juga menciptakan suasana interaktif yang mendorong komunikasi, kerja sama, dan rasa percaya diri. Mahasiswa dilibatkan secara aktif untuk mempererat hubungan sosial dan membangun empati terhadap penyandang disabilitas. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, serta teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan partisipatif melalui edukasi, pelatihan kreatif, dan mediasi emosional efektif mendorong aktualisasi diri anak-anak difabel. Kegiatan diawali observasi dan pelatihan pendamping, dilanjutkan sesi interaktif berupa diskusi, mewarnai tas kanvas, dan FGD berbasis kartu emosi. Metode visual, inklusif, dan empatik disesuaikan dengan karakteristik peserta. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi dan refleksi bersama, menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam ekspresi diri, kepercayaan diri, interaksi sosial, serta kesadaran emosional dalam satu hari pelaksanaan. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap pembentukan ruang inklusi yang positif di lingkungan sosial mereka.
