Abstract

Flipped classroom merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran di mana isi materi dan keterampilan yang biasanya diajarkan selama sesi kelas disampaikan di luar kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran flipped classroom pada materi stokiometri dalam kuliah kimia dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 35 mahasiswa kelas A di program studi pendidikan matematika Universitas Negeri Manado (Unima). Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar dengan memberikan pretest sebelum proses perkuliahan dan posttest setelah proses perkuliahan dilaksanakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa pada pretest adalah 49,33, sedangkan pada posttest meningkat menjadi 87,33. Pengujian N-Gain score menunjukkan skor sebesar 77%, yang masuk dalam kategori efektif dan tinggi. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model flipped classroom secara efektif dan signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada materi stokiometri dalam kuliah kimia dasar di program studi pendidikan matematika Unima.

Abstract

Abstrak Di tengah pergeseran pendidikan yang semakin mengedepankan aspek kreativitas, ekspresi, dan inovasi, ecoprint muncul sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran yang menawarkan pembelajaran melalui kegiatan praktik yang praktis dan menyenangkan. Tujuan dari pelatihan pembuatan ecoprint adalah untuk mengembangkan kreativitas dan meningkatkan keterampilan siswa melalui kegiatan yang mudah dipraktikan. Peserta pelatihan adalah 20 siswa kelas V dan 1 guru kelas di SDN Inpres Nontotera. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dalam beberapa tahapan yaitu persiapan kegiatan, sosialisasi dan demonstrasi, persiapan alat dan bahan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, demonstrasi, dan praktik pembuatan ecoprint secara langsung. Pelatihan ini menggunakan teknik pounding pada tote bag sebagai media aplikasi ecoprint karena kemudahannya untuk diterapkan oleh siswa sekolah dasar. Pelaksanaan pelatihan ecoprint teknik pounding untuk siswa sekolah dasar berlangsung dengan sangat interaktif dan antusias. Pelaksanaan pelatihan pembuatan ecoprint dengan teknik pounding ini telah memberikan pengetahuan tentang pembuatan ecoprint serta melatih keterampilan dan kreativitas para siswa sekolah dasar yang berpartisipasi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan dalam kreativitas siswa, dibuktikan dengan variasi desain ecoprint yang siswa buat. Pelatihan ini memberikan kesempatan bagi siswa untuk mengeksplorasi dan mengekspresikan kreativitas mereka sambil meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Kata kunci: pelatihan; ecoprint; teknik pounding; kreativitas. Abstract In the midst of a shift in education that increasingly emphasizes aspects of creativity, expression and innovation, ecoprint emerges as one of the learning media that offers learning through practical and fun activities. The purpose of the ecoprinting training was to develop creativity and improve students' skills through easy-to-practice activities. The training participants were 20 fifth grade students and 1 class teacher at SDN Inpres Nontotera. The implementation of community service activities was carried out in several stages, namely activity preparation, socialization and demonstration, preparation of tools and materials, activity implementation, and activity evaluation. Training activities were carried out using lecture, question and answer, demonstration, and direct practice of making ecoprints. This training used the pounding technique on tote bags as a medium for ecoprint application because of its ease of application by elementary school students. The implementation of the ecoprint training on pounding technique for elementary school students was very interactive and enthusiastic. The implementation of the ecoprinting training with pounding technique has provided knowledge about ecoprinting and trained the skills and creativity of the participating elementary school students. The results of the training showed significant results in student creativity, as evidenced by the variety of ecoprint designs that students created. This training provides an opportunity for students to explore and express their creativity while raising awareness and concern for the surrounding environment. Keywords: training; ecoprint; pounding technique; creativity

Abstract

Model pembelajaran inovatif menjadi salah satu strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah dasar. Pelajaran IPAS (Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial) merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang memerlukan model pembelajaran inovatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pustaka tentang implementasi model pembelajaran inovatif dalam pelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah review literatur dengan menggunakan kata kunci "model pembelajaran inovatif", "pelajaran IPAS", dan "sekolah dasar". Hasil review menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran inovatif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, meningkatkan motivasi belajar, dan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa tantangan dalam implementasi model pembelajaran inovatif, seperti kurangnya sumber daya dan kurangnya pelatihan guru.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to develop a virtual laboratory TikTok-based. The virtual laboratory was designed for basic chemistry 1 labwork. The developed media was created to increase students' critical thinking and science process skills. The methodology of this research used ADDIE model. The virtual laboratory validations to evaluate the content and media were successfully done by two experts on each validation. Based on the validations, the score results were 93,6% for content and 88,1% for media. It means that the virtual laboratory was successfully created and is ready to be used as a teaching-learning source. The practical and effective tests were done in the chemistry education program grade 1 at A and B class. The data collection was through direct observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Next, the data was analyzed by descriptive statistic method. The research result showed that the Tiktok virtual laboratory was very good, practical, and effective to use in basic chemistry 1 labwork and could increase students' science process and critical thinking skills with an effectiveness percentage of 89,7%.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the critical thinking skills of students using the case-based method in teaching-learning activities. The subject that was held was laboratory engineering and management.This study is motivated by the various problems in the laboratory that were conducted with the teaching-learning material in this course and also related to the student's critical thinking ability to solve the problems in the chemistry laboratory at Manado State University. The subjects were chemistry education study program 5th-semester that consisted of 6 students. The research design was descriptive qualitative. The procedures were: (1) The teacher gave the explanation in accordance learning outcomes of this course; (2) The teacher asked students to observe the chemistry laboratory (case study); (3) The students made paper and presented the paper in class followed by a discussion with question-answer; last (4) The teacher gave critical thinking skill test. Based on the test result, the critical thinking skills students classified as high and valued at about 84.5%. The values ​​for each indicator of critical thinking skills are as follows: (1) interpretation of 96.67%; (2) analysis of 66.67%; (3) eval_uation of 93.33%; and (4) inference of 81.33%.Various methods must be taken to improve student's critical thinking skills such as providing varied cases for students and asking students to solve these cases

Abstract

In this research, a lab work module daily life base has been successfully developed in the basic chemistry 1 lab work. This module was created to make practicum implementation easier in the chemistry laboratory due to limited tools and materials. This research aims to assess students' science process skills. The lab work module development process uses the ADDIE model research approach. After that, the validation tests carried out were media experts and material experts, each consisting of two experts, and average validation test scores for material and media experts were found to be 4.67 and 4.54, respectively. These results indicate that the module is suitable for use as a learning resource. The next step was to test its practicality and effectiveness using pretest and posttest instruments, students' score results, and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistical methods and the results obtained were that the module was suitable and practical for use as a learning resource with a practicality percentage of 89.47%. Furthermore, the student's learning completion results were 100% and the N-Gain value was 0.71, which proves that the module created is effective. In conclusion, the product that has been developed is successful in improving students' science process skills.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Android-based application that uses an inquiry approach on solubility material and solubility products, and assesses its feasibility as an alternative source of independent learning for high school students. The approach used is the development research method, by choosing a development design using the ADDIE model. The result of this study is in the form of an Android-based application. The evaluation of the results of this development is based on the assessment of validators who show very good categories, with ideality reaching 86% according to the assessment of media experts, and 84.75% according to the assessment of material experts. Student responses to Android-based applications with an inquiry approach to solubility material and solubility results obtained a percentage of 93.22%. Based on the expert assessment and student responses, it can be concluded that the Android-based application that has been developed is worthy of being used as an independent learning resource for high school students.
