Abstract

The research aims to: 1. Determined response of pair rows spacingusage and number of seeds per hole that effect on growth and yield of lowland rice (Oryza sativa L.). 2. Obtained the proper pair rows spacingand number of seeds per hole, so that it can provide the best results on growth of lowland rice (Oryza sativa L.)The reserach was conducted on May up to August 2016, reserach located on Bumi Rapak Village, District of Kaubun, East Kutai Regency. Research design used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with experimental factorial 3x2and each treatment has 4 replicated which is consists of 2 factors, there are 24 research plots with each replicate contained 10 plant samples. First factor; (G1), pair rows spacing2:1 (G2), pair rows spacing4:1 (G3) pair rows spacing6:1. Second factor; number of seeds, 1 stem per planting hole ( B1), number of seeds, 2 stems per planting hole (B2). Analysis data using ANOVA tables with advanced test Least Significant Difference (LSD) level 5%.The research results showed that treatment of pair rows spacing and number of seeds per hole showed non significant effect on plant height, total of tiller, productive tiller, total of grain, and percentage of filled grain. On potential results showed non significant effect with the acquisition of grain 4.329 (t/ha) on treatment interaction of pair rows spacing4:1 and number of seed, one per hole.Keywords: Lowland Rice, Pair Rows (jajar legowo), Number of Seed

Abstract

Evaluation of Growth and Yield On Three Cultivars R of Upland Rice (Oryza sativa L.) Due To Use Of Plant Spacing. The research aims to: (i). Studied the effect of plant spacing on growth and yield of three cultivars of upland rice (Oryza sativa L.). (ii). Get the right spacing for three cultiars of upland rice (Oryza sativa L.) in evaluation (iii) the influence of evironmental factors on the grownt and yield power of three cultivars of upland rice (Oryza sativa L.) in evaluation. The reserach was conducted on Maret up to September2016, in the village of Cipta Graha of Kaubun Sub-district of East Kutai Regency. Research design used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with experimental factorial and each treatment has 3 replicated. The first factor is cultivar of Gedagai and Kunyit.While the second factor is plant spacing 20 x 20 cm, 20 x 25 cm, 25 x 25 cm, 25 x 30 cm, dan 30 x 30 cm. Analysis data using ANOVA tables with advanced test Least Significant Difference (LSD) level 5%.The research results showed no significant interaction between cultivar treatment and plant spacing.The influence of cultivars had a significant effect on plant height of 45 hst, number of tillers/hill, and total grain amount/panicle, whereas in the treatment of spacing significant effect on total number of tillers/hill, number of productive tillers/hill and 1000 grain weight. Kultivar Gedagai and kunyit have the highest potential yield of successive respectively 1,483 Mg ha-1 and 1,319 Mg ha-. Treatment of plant spacing 25cmx25cm has the highest ppotential yield ie 1,430 Mg ha-1. All observed characters are influenced by environmental factors (h2 < 0,5).Keywords: Gedagai, Kunyit, Upland rice

Abstract

Research of application organic fertilizer of liquid cow dung on growth and yield of eggplant. The research purpose to recognize fertilizer application of liquid cow dung on growth and yield of eggplant gelatik and know some concentration of liquid organic fertilizer cow dung is best to growth and yield of plant eggplant gelatik. The research was conducted of Desember 2018-March 2019, in Pertamina KM 04 Road North Sangatta East Kutai Regency. The research design used was non factorial rondomized block repeated 5 times. The fertilizer (P) factor consists of 5 levels : P0 = control, P1 = 5 cc/liter of water/plant, P2 = 10 cc/liter of water/plant, P3 = 15 cc/liter of water/plant, P4 = 20 cc/liter of water/plant. The results showed that application of organic fertilizer liquid cow dung very significant to the parameter of plant height and the number of leaves age 30 HST, showed significant to 45 HST  and  the  weight  of  the  harvest.  But showed  no  significant  to  parameter  height and number of leaves age 15 HST and age of flawers 75%. Treatment of P2 showed the best result to parameter of fruti weight is 1,181 gram/plant.Key word :  POC, eggplant gelatik, cow dung
