Abstract

Stockpile merupakan tempat penyimpanan batubara sementara yang digunakan sebagai penyangga antara pengiriman dan produksi batubara. Salah satu kegiatan utama dalam pengelolaan stockpile batubara adalah monitoring volume batubara, dimana dalam penelitian ini digunakan software terramodel sebagai alat pemodelan dalam menghitung volume batubara. Maksud dan tujuan penggunaan software terramodel ini adalah untuk membandingkan dan efisiensi waktu dalam perhitungan volume dibandingkan dengan cara manual atau konvensional. Data yang digunakan merupakan data survei fotogrametri yaitu foto udara area penimbunan milik CV. Bunda Kandung berada di Desa Paring Lahung, Kecamatan Montallat, Kabupaten Barito Utara, Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Perhitungan volume pada software terramodel dengan tahapan : Import data koordinat hasil pengolahan foto udara, membuat alas dengan segmen offset, membuat permukaan, hasil permukaan diubah menjadi titik, hasil permukaan dan batas diblok, melihat formasi 3D dan terakhir melaporkan hasil perhitungan volume penimbunan batubara, dengan hasil perhitungan sebesar 9.323.311 Metrik Ton. Sedangkan hasil perhitungan tonase penimbangan adalah 9.144.672 Metrik Ton sehingga terdapat selisih sebesar 1,95% yang masih memenuhi standar toleransi ASTM sebesar 2,78% sehingga data perhitungan dapat digunakan. Abstract

PT. Internasional Prima Coal merupakan sebuah perusahaan pertambangan batubara yang berlokasi  di Kelurahan Bantuas. Permasalahan utama yang sering dialami perusahaan PT.Internasional Prima Coal adalah permasalahan pada produktivitas seperti target produksi yang tidak tercapai.Pengamatan ini bertujuan untuk menghitung produktivitas alat gali muat dan angkut dalam kegiatan pembongkaran overburden, dan memperbaiki faktor faktor yang menghambat pada kegiatan produksi. Pada pengamatan yang dilakukan ada beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kegiatan produksi. Diantaranya tingkat keserasian alat gali muat dengan alat angkut, faktor hujan dan front yang sempit. Analisis produktivitas dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak Microsoft Excel untuk menghitung produktivitas harian pembongkaran overburden. Dari  analisis produktivitas alat gali muat didapat hasil sebagai berikut, pada 7 Januari 2025  297,27 BCM/jam, 10 Januari 2025  241,441  BCM/jam,  dan 11 Januari 2025  241,441  BCM/jam. Hasil Pengamatan ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai bahan evaluasi oleh perusahaan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memepengaruhi kegiatan    produksi, sehingga meningkatkan kinerja alat gali muat dan angkut dalam mendukung tercapainya target produksi yang sudah di rencanakan perusahaan. Abstract

Artisanal gold mining in the Kahayan River Basin (DAS Kahayan), Ramang Village, produces tailings that contain metallic minerals such as zircon (Zr), yet their management remains suboptimal. This study aims to identify the zircon content in the concentrate resulting from shaking table separation and to analyze the geological and hydrological factors influencing its distribution. The results show that zircon content in the tailings ranges from 0,002% to 0,112%. The highest concentration was found in the upstream area (Z1), while the lowest was in the downstream area (X1), indicating that river flow direction and tidal influences play a role in zircon particle distribution. The zircon identified is genetically linked to the weathering of granite rocks, particularly the Kapur Granite Formation and Sepauk Tonalite in the upstream region. These findings indicate that current small-scale gold mining practices remain inefficient, allowing zircon to be discarded in tailings. This study emphasizes the importance of improved tailings management through efficient containment systems, the potential for reprocessing, and continuous environmental monitoring to enhance resource utilization and reduce the ecological impact of traditional mining.

Abstract

This research aims to make a technical design for mining in Pit B, an area planned by PT Indo Muro Kencana to be exploited based on the evaluation of economic ore reserves. Pit B is an area that has never experienced mining activities before. The mine design method involves a technical design process that considers geotechnical, topography, and reserve data aspects to determine an economical and technically feasible mining deadline. The purpose of this method is to produce an optimal and safe mining design, in order to maximize the extraction of mineral reserves by paying attention to work safety. The research method applied is quantitative, used to design pit and waste dump designs and calculate the difference in reserves between the researcher's design results and the company's pitshell data using surpac software. Descriptive analysis is carried out to explain the design process and calculation of the proposal. The pit geometry parameters include a level height of 15 meters, a level width of 5 meters, a slope of 60°, and a ramp width of 15 meters with a slope of 10%, according to the company's operational standards. The results of the calculation of the reserve volume showed that ore amounted to 326,809 tons and waste 4,911,173 tons. The reserve difference between the design and pitshell data is still within the company's tolerance limit of 33%, so this technical design is suitable as the basis for mining operations in the field.

Abstract

The Banturung region mostly consists of the morphology of igneous rock hills where most of the rocks physically show that they have undergone a process of change, so more detailed research is needed to distinguish the types of rocks that exist at the research site. This study aims to determine the distribution and types of rocks that undergo alterations at the research site. The research method with petrographic analysis, due to mineral changes and changes in rock composition in alterations can be observed from microscopic observations by paying attention to the mineral composition. The rock sample is cut into thin incisions measuring 0.035 mm so that it can be observed under a microscope. From the results of the rock incision analysis, it is known that the characteristics of rock alteration at the study site include the type of Phyllic alteration with serisite as a key mineral, with a very low alteration intensity < 25%, and hydrothermal alteration processes in dacite and tonalite rocks. This alteration process can be an early indication of the formation of metallic minerals or mineralization of valuable minerals at the research site, which is also strengthened by the discovery of pyrite minerals at the research site so that it can be further developed as a source of mineral resource research.

Abstract

The Teaching Campus Program provides a collaborative space between university students and vocational high school students to improve the quality of context-based learning. This article aims to describe the implementation of the mining literacy program in improving the competency of students at SMK Negeri 4 Palangka Raya while supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Six literacy programs were implemented by Mining Engineering students at Palangka Raya University. This program contributes to the achievement of SDGs 4 (Quality Education), SDGs 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDGs 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDGs 13 (Addressing Climate Change).

Abstract

Mining sequence design is one of the important stages in open pit mining activities that aims to organize the excavation stages so that production activities run effectively, efficiently, and in accordance with the established targets. This research was conducted at PT Putra Perkasa Abadi Site SKS with the aim of designing a mining sequence in January and February 2025. The methods used include analysis of topographic data, geology, pit design, and monthly production targets. The data was processed using mining software to determine the excavation sequence based on elevation, overburden volume, and coal reserves. The design results show that the total planned overburden and coal volume is able to meet the company's production targets by considering slope stability and the efficiency of digging and loading equipment. In addition, the resulting sequence design also takes into account aspects of work safety and field operational conditions, such as mine road access and drainage systems. With a structured design, it is expected that mining activities during this period can run according to schedule, minimize operational obstacles, and support the achievement of production targets and cost efficiency at PT Putra Perkasa Abadi Site SKS.

Abstract

PT. Barito Bangun Nusantara is a company engaged in coal exploration and production activities, where the production is temporarily stored in a stockpile area before being processed or distributed. Stockpile management requires attention to several important factors, such as area design and stockpiling methods, so that storage runs effectively and does not cause a decrease in coal quality. This study was conducted on old and new stockpiles with the aim of analyzing the actual stockpiling conditions and providing technical recommendations regarding the ideal stockpile capacity and configuration. The research methods included field observation, primary and secondary data collection, and descriptive quantitative analysis. The results showed that both stockpiles experienced inefficiencies due to excess capacity. The actual tonnage reached 49,191.98 tons, exceeding the planned capacity of 35,000 tons, with a stockpile height reaching 9 m. This condition caused long stacking times and the FIFO system did not operate optimally. The study recommended an ideal stockpile capacity of 30,740.61 tons, with a maximum height of 8 m. The recommended angle of repose for the old stockpile is 30°, with a capacity of 11,542.19 tons, while for the new stockpile, it's 34°, with a capacity of 19,198.42 tons. This arrangement is expected to allow for a smoother unloading process and a more ideal stockpile.

Abstract

Desa Ramang, yang terletak di pinggir sungai Kahayan, memiliki potensi sumber daya alam dan manusia yang besar, namun menghadapi tantangan dalam perencanaan pembangunan akibat kurangnya data infrastruktur yang akurat. Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memetakan titik lokasi infrastruktur di Desa Ramang, Kabupaten Pulang Pisau, menggunakan teknologi GPS berbasis satelit. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tiga tahap: persiapan, survei lapangan secara partisipatif dengan masyarakat, serta pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan perangkat lunak SIG. Hasil kegiatan berhasil menghasilkan peta digital yang memetakan 15 titik infrastruktur utama yang terbagi dalam fasilitas pendidikan, kesehatan, ibadah, pemerintahan, dan lainnya. Peta ini memberikan data spasial yang akurat untuk mendukung perencanaan pembangunan, identifikasi kebutuhan perbaikan, dan pengambilan keputusan yang transparan dan partisipatif oleh pemerintah desa.

Abstract

Terdapat potensi ketidakakuratan dalam pengambilan data survey merupakan pokok permasalahan dari penelitian ini. Standar volume vessel untuk isian 3 bucket adalah 6,25. Sedangkan standar volume vessel untuk isian 4 bucket adalah 7,15. Berdasarkan perhitungan yang dilakukan di dapat total volume overburden selama 2 minggu sebesar 126.442 bcm. Dengan rincian total volume di Pit 72 front timur sebesar 107.724 sedangkan pada front barat sebesar 18.718 bcm. Sedangkan perhitungan volume overburden dengan metode truck count berdasarkan ritase alat angkut dump truck, jumlah volume overburden yang di gali sebesar 149.542,65 bcm. Terdapat perbedaan volume overburden yang tergali dengan deviasi sebesar 18,27 %. Faktor selisih volume overburden antara pengukuran menggunakan data survey dengan data truck count yaitu pengisian vessel alat angkut yang kurang penuh, dimana tidak sesuai dengan standar pengisian yang di sepakati (Top Soil sebanyak 3 bucket, claystone sebanyak  4 bucket), perbandingan antara perhitungan data aktual dengan pihak cheker, adanya material yang lengket / menempel pada vessel dump truck sehingga material yang harusnya di dumping di area disposal tidak seluruhnya dapat di turunkan, dan pengukuran atau pengambilan data survey yang agak renggang, sehingga area yang hendak di lakukan pengukuran tidak sepenuhnya tertutup.
