Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di dataran tinggi yaitu pasar Ciborelang, pasar Sindangkasih dan pasarMaja Selatan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor sosial terhadap keputusan pembelian cabaimerah besar secara simultan dan parsial. Data primer dan data sekunder digunakan dalam penelitian ini.Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda, koefisien determinasi, uji-f dan ujit.Dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa faktor sosial yang mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen untukmembeli cabai merah di dataran tinggi secara simultan, sedangkan faktor yang mempengaruhi pasar secaraparsial terdapat di pasar maja selatan jika dibandingkan dengan pasar Ciborelang dan Sindangkasih yaitufaktor sosial dengan Nilai Sig sebesar 0,048 terhadap keputusan pembelian cabai. merah besar.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact of El Niño's extreme climate on rice farming in Jatitengah Village, Majalengka Regency, as well as mitigation efforts undertaken by farmers in the face of its negative impacts. Primary data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and personal notes with farmers, while secondary data came from literature studies. Respondents consisted of 88 rice farmers selected using a simple random sample method.The results showed that farmers in Jatitengah Village have a high level of awareness towards mitigating the negative impacts of El Niño on rice farming. Most farmers have adopted various mitigation components, such as adjustments to cropping patterns, the use of superior varieties, no-burn management, and irrigation techniques. However, there are still some mitigation components that have not been fully adopted by farmers, such as organic fertilizer, land rehabilitation, and access to funding for afforestation and land rehabilitation. The results show that efforts to mitigate the negative impacts of El Niño on rice farming in Jatitengah Village have progressed, but further efforts are still needed to increase farmers' awareness and participation in implementing broader and more effective mitigation strategies.

Abstract

Facing free trade, Indonesia is required to increase the performance of mango production in order to compete with mangoes from other countries, but the performance of gedong gincu mango agribusiness still faces a number of obstacles, both on farm and off farm. One of them is to optimize distribution costs by designing a transportation model to determine the amount of goods that must be sent from each source to each destination in such a way that the total transportation cost is minimum. The transportation model used is Vogel's Approximation Method. The purpose of this research was to find out the description of the distribution of gedong gincu mangoes in Majalengka District, the distribution costs incurred from source to destination and find out the optimization of distribution costs. The method used was quantitative with survey research techniques. The results of this research were an overview of the distribution of Gedong Gincu mangoes involving 5 parties, namely farmers, collectors, dealers, retailers and consumers which can be done with 4 marketing channels. The distribution costs incurred were different, on the four channels the lowest distribution costs are Rp 29,000 and the highest fee is Rp 74,000/kg. In channel I, it did not carry out cost optimization calculations because it did not make shipments out of town, for optimization in channel II it is Rp 13,950,000, channel III is Rp 249,100,000 and channel IV is Rp 250,980,000. Thus, it can be concluded that the lowest cost is on ordinary channel II. Further research is recommended to perform optimal testing by means of a stepping stone.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengenai strategi komunikasi pemasaran terpadu di KUBE Andir Cavendish. Tujuan dari penelitian, untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran usahatani, mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan faktor eksternal, dan untuk merumuskan strategi komunikasi pemasaran terpadu yang dapat diterapkan di Kelompok Usaha Bersama Andir Cavendish. Metode pengumpulan data dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis SWOT. Responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 18 orang yang terdiri dari pengelola, reseller, dan konsumen akhir. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan pada analisis SWOT menunjukan usahatani pisang cavendish berada pada kuadran I koordinat (1,701; 1,177) yang mendukung strategi agresif. Strategi yang menggunakan kekuatan untuk memanfaatkan peluang dan dapat diterapkan pada strategi komunikasi pemasaran terpadu di KUBE Andir Cavendish adalah strategi SO dengan bekerjasama dengan masyarakat sebagai pendekatan word of mouth dan pemasaran langsung, mengembangkan iklan melalui media sosial ads, mengembangkan pemasaran melalui marketplace, meningkatkan interaktif marketing dan mengembangkan promosi penjualan melalui media sosial.

Abstract

Pengembangan komoditas potensial tanaman pangan merupakan langkah awal dalam proses Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Majalengka dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis potensi komoditas unggulan tanaman pangan dalam kurun waktu 2018-2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan data primer dari 98 responden yang dipilih menggunakan metode Proposional Random Sampling. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan beberapa alat analisis seperti Location Quotient (LQ). Hasil analisis Location Quotient (LQ) menunjukkan bahwa komoditas padi sawah, jagung, kedelai, kacang tanah, dan kacang hijau merupakan komoditas basis dengan LQ > 1, sedangkan ubi kayu dan ubi jalar merupakan komoditas non-basis dengan LQ < 1. Produksi tanaman pangan di Kabupaten Majalengka, seperti padi, jagung, kedelai, kacang tanah, dan kacang hijau, mengalami fluktuasi namun memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap perekonomian daerah. Program Desa Mandiri Benih telah dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan produksi padi dengan melibatkan teknologi modern dan varietas unggul baru. Produksi jagung di Kabupaten Majalengka memberikan peluang bagi petani, terutama sebagai pakan ternak. Sementara itu, produksi kedelai juga mengalami fluktuasi namun masih memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan dengan adanya program penyediaan benih varietas unggul. Produksi kacang tanah dan kacang hijau juga memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap perekonomian daerah. Hasil analisis klasifikasi menunjukkan bahwa komoditas unggulan tanaman pangan di Kabupaten Majalengka memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut, terutama untuk komoditas basis seperti padi sawah, jagung, kedelai, kacang tanah, dan kacang hijau. Sedangkan komoditas non-basis seperti ubi kayu dan ubi jalar membutuhkan upaya lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan produksi dan kontribusi terhadap perekonomian daerah.

Abstract

Padi (Oryza sativa L.) merupakan tanaman pangan utama di Indonesia, dikonsumsi sebagai makanan pokok oleh hampir 90% penduduknya. Produksi beras menjadi prioritas utama dalam pertanian dibandingkan hasil pertanian non-beras. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi padi adalah teknologi budidaya yang digunakan, termasuk jarak tanam dan sistem pengairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh jarak tanam dan sistem pengairan intermitten terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil padi varietas Ciherang dan Sintanur di lahan tadah hujan. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Sumedang dari Februari hingga September 2023 menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jarak tanam dan sistem pengairan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan produktif, dan hasil gabah per rumpun. Varietas Ciherang dan Sintanur dengan jarak tanam 30x30 cm dan sistem pengairan intermitten memberikan hasil produksi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan jarak tanam yang tepat dan sistem pengairan intermitten dapat meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan air dan produktivitas tanaman padi di lahan tadah hujan.

Abstract

Empowering Household Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is a primary focus in local economic development and community economics. One crucial aspect in enhancing the competitiveness and capabilities of Household MSMEs is effective packaging design. Packaging design is not merely about visual aesthetics but also about functionality and interaction with consumers. The Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) method is utilized to develop effective packaging designs, involving MSME actors, consumers, and other relevant parties. This PLA approach is expected to assist Household MSMEs in facing tight market competition. This research proposes community empowerment activities through the production of Rempeyek products in one of the MSMEs in Majalengka, using the PLA method. The success evaluation of the activities is conducted through the four-level evaluation model (Kirkpatrick), covering reaction, learning, behavior, and results. The evaluation results show an improvement in participants' knowledge, understanding, and skills in packaging design. The overall scores indicate that these activities successfully achieve the Kirkpatrick evaluation goals. Recommendations to enhance the implementation of this service development include increasing the capacity of project participants, addressing deeper issues, local government support, and support for domestic industries. This research demonstrates that training and mentoring in packaging design can provide significant benefits to Household MSMEs, enhancing product quality, market value, and competitiveness in a competitive market.

Abstract

The method of implementing this community service is systematically designed to overcome the problems faced by the target partner, Ma Utik, in developing the Cilembu yam industry and its processed products. The preparation and planning stages as well as socialization and initial training are the main focuses in this program. The preparation stage begins with an initial survey to identify partner needs related to marketing, business management, distribution network development, and product innovation. A service team consisting of experts in economics, management, agribusiness, and informatics was formed with a division of tasks according to competence. A structured work plan includes a schedule of activities, implementation methods, and indicators of success, as well as careful management of budgets and resources. Socialization and training materials were developed based on partner needs to ensure in-depth understanding and mastery of relevant skills. The socialization phase begins with an initial meeting to introduce the program's objectives, benefits and solutions to partners, while accommodating their inputs. Initial training was conducted to provide partners with a foundation of knowledge and skills. Marketing strategy training covers the use of social media, digital marketing, branding, and promotion. Business management training covers business planning, financial management, and strategic decision-making using business management software. Distribution network development training includes negotiating and building relationships with distributors, as well as utilizing communication technology. Product innovation training includes identification of market trends and development of new products using market research technology. Through this approach, it is expected that partners can understand the program objectives and acquire the necessary skills to improve their competitiveness. With effective coordination between the service team, community partners, and supporting institutions, this program can run smoothly and have a significant impact. The implementation of a digital marketing application specifically for Cilembu yam products is one of the main results that is expected to increase product visibility, facilitate customer access, strengthen branding, and increase interaction with customers and business partners

Abstract

This community service program aims to increase the capacity and sustainability of Cilembu yam MSME players in Cilembu Village through structured training and mentoring. Activities began with six initial meetings involving 30 participants, mostly women aged 56-80 years old with basic education backgrounds. The training focused on digital technology and operational management, as well as new product development. Evaluation showed that the training successfully increased the use of digital technology from 72.26% to 85%, with a significant increase in the adoption of e-commerce platforms. Participation from younger age groups also increased from 13% to 20%, demonstrating the program's success in attracting the younger generation. Challenges related to productivity and marketing decreased, with productivity issues falling from 61.51% to 40% and marketing issues from 54.19% to 35%. The effectiveness of the training increased, with 90% of participants able to apply the training materials in their businesses. Support and communication from the implementation team was also rated as excellent, with responsiveness increasing to 95%. In conclusion, the program had a significant positive impact, but there are still challenges that need to be addressed in terms of productivity and marketing. It is recommended to focus on e-commerce technology capacity building, capital development, and product innovation, as well as strengthening ongoing mentoring to ensure the sustainability and development of MSMEs in the future

Abstract

Tanaman kopi disebarkan oleh orang-orang Arab hingga menembus pasar Eropa dan Asia. perkembangan luas perkebunan dan produksi kopi di Indonesia cenderung berfluktuatif, Jika dirataratakan produktivitas kopi Indonesia dari tahun 2011-2017 sekitar 652.258 ton/tahun. Seiring dengan meningkatnya produksi kopi maka pengolahan kopi akan menghasilkan banyak limbah kulit kopi yang berdampak pada pencemaran lingkungan, Oleh karena itu, perlu sebuah terobosan baru guna mengolah limbah kopi agar dapat dimanfaatkan dengan baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis nilai pendapatan, kelayakan dan menentukan strategi pengembangan usaha pengolahan cascara. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, analisis pendapatan, analisis SWOT dan QSPM. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukan bahwa, Cascara dapat memberikan tambahan pendapatan bagi petani sebanyak 29,4% dari penggunaan bahan baku sebanyak 100 kg. Perhitungan dengan menggunakan matriks IFE dan EFE diperoleh total skor sebesar 3,58 (IFE) dan 3,30 (EFE) dan pada matik matriks Grand Strategy usaha pengolahan Cascara dalam kuadran III. Alternatif strategi matriks SWOT menghasilkan tujuh strategi dan prioritas strategi terbaik dari analisis QSPM adalah Melakukan pemberdayaan anggota kelompok tani untuk meningkatkan usahanya.
