Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mata kuliah Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan di setiap perguruan tinggi. Faktor internal berasal dari pengajar, sistem perkuliahan, dan kebijakan di perguruan tinggi tersebut. Sedangkan faktor eksternal dapat berasal dari intervensi dari luar kampus seperti kebijakan pemerintah atau kondisi eksternal yang terjadi. Penelitian ini akan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis tentang model pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan yang dilaksanakan pada perguruan tinggi Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini akan memfokuskan tentang metode pendekatan dalam proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan yang dikembangkan oleh para dosen Mata Kuliah Dasar Umum (MKDU) di Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini diperoleh dari kegiatan pembelajaran tahun akademik 2019/2020 semester. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan induktif dan reduksi data. Hasilnya dapat diketahui bahwa proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan media elearning terdiri dari 5 (lima) unsur disetiap pertemuan yakni: (1) slide kuliah dalam bentuk powerpoint,  (2) modul yang berisi narasi materi lebih lengkap, (3) video penjelasan oleh dosen pengampu, (4) forum diskusi, dan (5) kuis dan/atau tugas mingguan supaya mampu mendorong mahasiswa untuk memahami memiliki daya kritis, kreatif, dan aktif serta untuk berpikir analitis dan komprehensif.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the school culture-based character education programs as a reinforcement of the citizenship character of students in elementary schools. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative by collecting data in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The research was conducted at SD N Ngrukeman Yogyakarta. Data analysis techniques using the triangulation of the Miles and Huberman methods. The results showed that the school culture-based character education programs as a reinforcement of the character of citizenship in students at SD N Ngrukeman Yogyakarta accustomed the main values of characters in the form of religious, nationalism, independent, mutual cooperation in various school cultural activities. In addition, there is support in the implementation of character education programs as an enhancer of the character of entrepreneurship in students at Ngrukeman Elementary School in Yogyakarta such as adequate infrastructure and teacher training. The conclusion of this article is that the school culture-based character education programs as a reinforcement of the citizenship character of students in elementary schools can be carried out with the cooperation of various parties in the school. The recommendation in this article is to be able to explore further about the school culture-based character education programs, especially in elementary schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the effectiveness of cooperative learning type numbered heads together (NHT) application on student learning outcomes in cooperative materials in the Elementary School of Unesa Laboratory. In addition this study aims to determine the differences between the student learning outcomes by NHT cooperative learning type and the student learning outcomes by conventional learning in cooperatives materials in the Elementary School of Unesa Laboratory. NHT is a type of cooperative learning model that involves a number of students using four steps structure they are: numbering, asking questions, thinking together and answering. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there are differences between the experimental class and the control class after being treated by NHT (Numbered Heads Together) learning type. The study applies random sampling techniques and data collection is done by making the learning and observation devices. The research population is students in the Elementary School of Unesa Laboratory. While the sample of this research is fourth-grade students who are divided into three classes namely trials class IV B, experimental class IVD and control class IV A. The validity used is the content and construct validation. Reliability in this study is tested by applying KR-20 techniques and inter-rater agreement. Data analysis is performed using T-test difference test with the aid of statistical program SPSS version 17 for windows. By analyzing research data, it is obtained that the difference is as amount 0.000. This shows that there are actually the differences between the experimental class and the control class after the treatment of NHT (Numbered Heads Together) learning type given. That is, the learning type NHT is proven effectively for improving students' abilities in comprehending Cooperative materials. This is supported by an increase in the average grade of the experimental group. The posttest grades are higher than pretest grades

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: 1) to improve the quality of student learning in semester 1 of Ambarrukmo Tourism College Yogyakarta through the Project Based Learning method. 2) to improve the writing skills of semester 1 students report at Ambarrukmo Tourism College Yogyakarta through the Project Based Learning method. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: (1) planning, (2) implementation phase, (3) observation phase, and (4) analysis and reflection phase. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, tests, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using comparative and critical descriptive analysis techniques. in the first cycle the number of students who reached 76 was 51% and the average value was 72.3. In the second cycle, after the test writing report the first semester students who passed the study reached 98%. Learning increased by 57%. The average value achieved in the second cycle increased to 83.4. This is an increase of 11.1. The results showed that the application of the Project Based Learning method could improve the quality of learning and report writing skills through the Project Based Learning method in the first semester students of Yogyakarta Ambarrukmo College of Tourism.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the role of information and communication technology in Indonesian language learning in tertiary institutions. The research method is in the form of literature review or literature study. This research examines critically and deeply the theoretical sources associated with the problems in research. Based on the research results, the following conclusions can be drawn. (1) Information and communication technology is related to communication and information, computers, and a set of other technology-based tools that are experiencing rapid development and affecting education in Indonesia, especially in Indonesian language learning in tertiary institutions. Information and communication technology can be used as a means for compiling data and so on relating to education, especially in learning; (2) Learning has a meaning as a process to gain an experience in accordance with the purpose of a lesson, in learning Indonesian, an attractive medium is needed so that students are more interested in learning. Information and communication technology can be used as a means to increase student interest in learning Indonesian; (3) information and communication technology can be utilized in the four competencies that exist in Indonesian, namely writing, speaking, listening, and reading. Through the use of information and communication technology, it can improve the quality of lessons, student quality, student interest, and at the same time improve the quality of lecturers in technology.  Keywords: Information and Communication Technology, Indonesian Language Learning, Higher Education

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembentukan warga negara yang baik (good citizen) melalui penyelenggaraan mata kuliah PKn yang sesuai dengan Pancasila dan UUD 1945. Kajian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan rumusan penyelenggaraan mata kuliah pendidikan kewarganegaraan yang ideal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, dan fokusnya adalah memperdalam pemahaman manajemen pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam proses pencapaian warga negara yang baik dan cerdas (smart and good citizens) yang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PKn merupakan ilmu yang perlu dipelajari untuk membentuk warga negara yang baik, cerdas, ideal, berbakat yang berdasarkan ideologi Pancasila. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan memiliki tujuan membentuk warga negara yang baik yang meliputi tiga aspek yaitu civics knowledge, civics skills, civics disposition. Upaya pembentukan warga negara yang baik dan cerdas melalui pendidikan kewarganegaraan dapat dilakukan dengan memberikan pemahaman terhadap pengetahuan yang menekankan pembentukan sikap kejujuran, integritas, disiplin, dan kerja keras guna menjadi bangsa yang berkarakter dan berdaya saing. This research aims to determine the process of forming a good citizen through the implementation of civics courses in accordance with Pancasila and the UUD NRI 1945. This study is expected to be able to provide a formulation for the implementation of an ideal civic education course. This research is a qualitative research, and the focus is to deepen the understanding of civic education management in the process of achieving smart and good citizens. The results showed that Civics is a science that needs to be studied to form good, smart, ideal, talented citizens based on the Pancasila ideology. Citizenship education has the goal of forming good citizens which includes three aspects, namely civics knowledge, civics skills, civics disposition. Efforts to form good and smart citizens through civic education can be carried out by providing an understanding of knowledge that emphasizes the formation of honesty, integrity, discipline and hard work in order to become a nation with character and competitiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembentukan karakter warga negara muda melalui Kampong Dolanan Nusantara Borobudur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kampong Dolanan Nusantara Borobudur Magelang Jawa Tengah dari Mei 2021 sampai April 2022. Subjek penelitian ditentukan dengan cara purposive, yakni pengelola, budayawan, seniman, pemerhati wisata Borobdur terkait dengan pembentukan karakter warga negara muda. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan pembentukan karakter warga negara muda melalui Kampong Dolanan Nusantara sebagai berikut (1) permainan tradisional egrang, bakiak, gasing dan gobak sodor serta dakon membentuk karakter yang mempunyai nilai kerjasama, kepedulian, kerja keras, gotong royong dan toleransi (2) belajar kesenian dari gamelan, tarian dan lagu jawa melalui harmonisasi bersatu melalui seni membentuk warga negara yang mempunyai nilai karakter peduli, kerjasama, gotong royong dan nasionalisme

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the basis for strengthening global citizenship and increasing digital literacy in Indonesian society. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The collection of primary data sources included books, scientific journals, manuscript publications, and internet news media using literature study techniques. The data obtained were analyzed using interactive techniques from Miles and Huberman. The results of the study showed that strengthening global citizenship was based on two aspects, namely digital literacy and digital ethics. Digital literacy was needed to improve people's ability to utilize technology supported by digital ethics. People's ability to understand information in the digital world was increasing with evidence of being able to distinguish between good material for consumption and information that must be avoided.

Abstract

Tourism has great potential to provide economic benefits to society, but can also cause environmental and social damage if not managed properly. Overcoming this requires implementing the concept of sustainable tourism. That is what Pawon Luwak Coffee Borobudur has done as an educational tourism-based coffee shop. Its existence has served as an example of an industry that provides coffee and shares knowledge by directly inviting people to see the process of making it. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach to explore in depth the process of managing a coffee shop based on educational tourism that has been implemented. The results and discussion in this research found that the educational tourism-based coffee shop management process has been implemented. Through detailed explanations by employees, they also act as tour guides to invite visitors to experience and gain knowledge about the process of making drinkable Luwak coffee. The management of the Pawon Luwak Coffee coffee shop based on educational tourism has the advantage of providing high quality Luwak coffee and providing a unique experience for visitors to see the process firsthand. Then the development of attractive educational programs requires improvements, such as collaborating with local communities in terms of production, environmentally friendly operations, employee skills development training, as well as evaluating sustainable practices that can be adopted. Managing a Luwak coffee shop based on sustainable educational tourism can provide economic benefits, promote environmental awareness, social networking, and become a positive example for the coffee industry as an alternative tourism in Indonesia. Based on the three pillars of sustainability, namely environmental, social and economic, it can be concluded that this coffee shop has become a positive example for the coffee industry as part of tourism in Indonesia.

Abstract

Fulfilment of the needs of a decent life and the desire to change their fate are the main highlights in the choice of Indonesian citizens to decide to work abroad. In line with this, there is a positive response from the employer country regarding the demand for Indonesian labour. The research method used is narrative qualitative by conducting a data collection process carried out twice when prospective Indonesian migrant workers (CPMI) carry out OPP (Pre-departure Orientation) activities before heading to South Korea. The first data collection was conducted on 27 January-1 February 2023 which took place in Surabaya which was a mixture of new CPMIs and CPMIs who had previously left.  The research findings are that there are stages that must be passed by CPMI before leaving for South Korea, one of these stages is OPP. During the implementation, 89 participants were interviewed with questions about the underlying motivation to work abroad. The answer was 73% answering money as the main reason as well as motivation to be able to live decently. Another impact apart from a decent living felt by CPMI is the contribution to the country. In the second quarter of 2023, the contribution to the country reached IDR 77.35 trillion. This is certainly a positive achievement whose impact can be felt both by citizens and the Indonesian state. Migrant workers make investments from the income saved to build businesses, renovate houses, pay debts, buy assets in the form of land, to the education of migrant workers' families. Some also actively empower the surrounding community in running their business, so that it automatically has a major contribution to poverty reduction in Indonesia by encouraging economic growth.
