Abstract

Employee sports participation in increasing immunity should be a concern for hotel management, especially in the current post Covid-19 pandemic conditions. This study aims to reveal how high the level of sports participation of hotel employees in Pontianak City after the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses a qualitative research design whose research results are in the form of percentage calculations. Sampling uses control data on the number of hotel employees in Pontianak City. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and observation. The results showed 98.27% of respondents who liked sports and those who did not like to participate in sports amounted to 1.73%. Furthermore, the results showed as many as 91.91% of respondents who did sports in the last 1 week and 8.09% of respondents who did not do sports in the last 1 week. The conclusion is that the level of participation of hotel employees in Pontianak City who like to exercise and respondents who do exercise in the past 1 week is very good.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the difference between coconut water and mineral water on the effect of dehydration speed.  The effectiveness of this liquid is still a question mark among sportsmen. The research method used experiments with 20 people as a sample consisting of 10 people per group. First of all, the initial pulse measurement was carried out then warmed up and ran for 1600 meters. The first group after finishing was given 250 ml of coconut water and 5 minutes after checking the pulse rate, as well as the second group with the same dose but given mineral water. Data were analyzed with non-parametric tests. The results of the non-parametric test explained that there was no difference between the administration of mineral water and coconut water on the achievement of the pulse rate after 5 minutes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis waktu reaksi dan hasil waktu akhir pada olahraga panjat tebing khususnya di nomor speed WR pada kelas nasional dan international. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan menganalisis video final pertandingan kelas nasional pada kejuaraan Panjat Tebing Walikota Tanggerang tahun 2023 dan pertandingan kelas international pada kejuaraan Piala Dunia IFSC di Salt Lake City, AS tahun 2024. Menggunakan sample atlet pada pertandingan final pertandingan kelas nasional pada kejuaraan Panjat Tebing Walikota Tanggerang tahun 2023 dan pertandingan kelas international pada kejuaraan Piala Dunia IFSC di Salt Lake City, AS tahun 2024. Pengumpulan data menggunakan rekaman video pertandingan pada saat pertandingan final yang menjadi juara 1 dan 2 pada kejuaraan nasional Panjat Tebing Walikota Tanggerang tahun 2023 dan kejuaraan international Piala Dunia IFSC di Salt Lake City, AS tahun 2024, selanjutnya di analisis menggunakan aplikasi kinovea. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pada waktu reaksi, pada kelas nasional lane A 164ms sedangkan lane B 273ms, walaupun pada lane A nasional memiliki waktu reaksi yang cepat dibandingkan dengan lane B nasional namun pada pertandingan ini dimenangkan oleh lane B nasional, dengan hasil akhir lane A nasional 5,723ms dan lane B nasional 5,625ms. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa memiliki waktu reaksi yang cepat bukan menjadi faktor utama dalam memenangkan perlombaan. Ada faktor pendukung kesuksesan dalam melakukan pemanjatan, bukan hanya waktu reaksi yang cepat melainkan teknik pemanjatan yang baik menjadi faktor utama dalam keberhasilan pemanjatan. Pada kelas international lane A 197ms sedangkan lane B 229ms, lane A memiliki waktu reaksi yang cepat dan teknik pemanjatan yang baik sehingga dapat dengan mudah memenangkan pertandingan apabila dibandingkan dengan lane B yang memiliki waktu reaksi lambat dan teknik pemanjatan yang kurang sempurna sehingga menyebabkan terjadi kesalahan dengan hasil akhir lane A international 4,893ms dan lane B international 6,711ms.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of dynamic balance on 400- meter running performance. The experimental method with a Pre-Test and Post-Test design was applied to 20 students from the Sports Coaching Education Program at Tanjungpura University. Participants underwent three types of treatments: zig-zag hopping with one foot, walking straight with a bottle on the head, and heel walking. The results showed a significant improvement in running speed after the treatments. The average running time before treatment was 1 minute and 21 seconds, which decreased to 53 seconds after the treatment. Statistical tests confirmed a significant effect of dynamic balance exercises on running performance. This study concludes that dynamic balance training effectively enhances speed, agility, and neuromuscular coordination, which are crucial for athletic performance. Additionally, incorporating these exercises in routine training may help prevent injuries by improving postural stability and movement efficiency. Coaches and athletes should prioritize balance exercises as a fundamental component of sports training to optimize endurance, strength, and overall performance in competitive running.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has had a significant impact on the behavior of children and adolescents, including increasing addiction to online games. This phenomenon causes various problems such as decreased academic achievement, impaired social interaction, and physical and mental health problems. The purpose of this article is to examine strategies for reducing the negative impacts of online games through optimizing digital literacy and preserving traditional games. Digital literacy plays an important role in equipping children, parents, and educators with the knowledge and skills to use technology wisely and responsibly. Meanwhile, traditional games can be an educational and recreational alternative that encourages physical activity, social interaction, and strengthening local cultural values. The combination of these two approaches is expected to create a balance in the use of technology while strengthening the cultural identity of the younger generation. Online games have become part of the lives of modern children and adolescents, but excessive use without supervision has a negative impact on mental, social, and academic health. This community service activity aims to educate elementary school students about healthy digital literacy and reintroduce traditional games as an alternative to fun physical and social activities. The implementation method includes socialization, training, and practice of traditional games at SDN 17 Sungai Raya in West Kalimantan. The results show an increase in students' understanding of the wise use of gadgets and high enthusiasm in participating in traditional games. The conclusion of this activity is that collaboration between digital literacy and local cultural preservation can reduce dependence on online games

Abstract

Studi purpose. Physical fitness is one of the important indicators of success in a soccer game. However, during its implementation, students' physical fitness is not paid enough attention and is not even used as a benchmark for preparing training programs. This study aims to determine physical fitness in extracurricular soccer students. Materials and methods. In this study using a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey method, where in this study tests and measurements were carried out. The population is extracurricular soccer students at SMP Negeri 3 Sukadana Kayong Utara. The sampling technique with perposive sampling so that 20 students were sampled. The instrument in this study used the Indonesian physical fitness test (TKJI) aged 13-15 years. Percentage descriptive data analysis with the help of Microsoft Excel 2013 software. Results. The results showed that 10% of students were in the good category, 15% were in the poor category and 75% were in the moderate category. Conclusions. The conclusion of this study is that extracurricular soccer students are in the moderate category, so the results of this study can be a reference for sports trainers and teachers in providing suitable training programs to improve physical fitness.

Abstract

Physical condition is closely related to futsal sports, there are 3 instruments in this study, namely endurance which is used to measure the ability to carry out prolonged physical activity and withstand fatigue for 2x20 minutes in futsal sports, player agility because this is a person's ability to change body position quickly and precisely by controlling movement, balance and coordination, and speed of a futsal player because it increases the player's running or when dribbling the ball. The method used in this research is a survey method, while the data collection technique uses tests and measurements. The population in this study were extracurricular futsal players at SMAN 3 Sanggau, while the sample used in this research was extracurricular futsal players at SMAN 3 Sanggau, totaling 14 people. The instruments used are; (1) Endurance is measured using the Harvard Step Test. (2) agility was measured using the Illinois Agility test (3) speed was measured using the 30 meter spirit test. Data analysis uses descriptive percentages. The results of the analysis of the 3 physical condition test instruments for extracurricular futsal players at SMAN 3 Sanggau which were carried out obtained the following results, the majority of scores were very good here, namely the agility test in the "Very Good" category, 5 people (36%). Meanwhile, for the majority of results, the score that is very poor here is the endurance test with the category "Very Poor" 3 people (21%). influenced by factors, namely sleep and rest, and smoking habits.

Abstract

Penulisan karya ilmiah menjadi salah satu beban bagi mahasiswa, bahkan guru yang telah lulus dari perkuliahan Pendidikan sarjana. Pada kenyataannya penulisa karya ilmiah ini menjadi salah satu ujung tombak untuk memotivsi akademisi dan guru untuk selalu mengikuti perkembangan Dengan membaca penelitianyang relavan dan kemudian mencari celah untuk melakukan penelitian. Setelah penelitian selesai hasil dari penelitian harus di deseminasikankepada khalayak umum. Keengganan untuk menulis kemungkinan adalah produk dari pengalaman menyelesaian tugas akhir akademik I bangku perkuliahan yant ditdak menyenangkan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakt ni memiliki tujuan untuk menghapus kesan itu dengan menyajikan diskusi, contoh dan praktek langsung melakukan paraphrase dalam Upaya penyelesaian sebuah tulisan khususnya artikel. Hasil Pengabdian ini menjelaskan bahwa kegiatan ini mampu memberikan pemahaman kepada guru guru dan merubah persepsi bahwa menulis artikel itu sulit. Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “metode bermain dalam pembelajaran menggiring bola” tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menerapkan metode bermain pada pembelajaran Menggiring bola.Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan dua siklus yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, refleksi, dan kesimpulan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Pemangkat Kabupaten Sambas yang berjumlah 36 siswa, yaitu putri 20 orang dan putra 16 orang. Hasil peningkatan pembelajaran Menggiring bola diperoleh dengan cara membandingkan nilai observasi dengan awal tes sebelum tindakan yang dikenal dengan “pra siklus”. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang telah dilaksanakan, terdapat peningkatan nilai siswa ada setiap siklusnya pada pra siklus ketuntasan siswa hanya mencapai 14 siswa atau 36% kemudian sedikit peningkatan pada siklus pertama yaitu menjadi 23 siswa yang tuntas atau 63,9% kemudian melihat hasil dari siklus 1 ternyata masih belum mencapai target yang ditentukan sehingga peneliti melanjutkan ke siklus ke 2 adapun pada siklus kedua ini terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan yaitu jumlah siswa yang tuntas mencapai 29 siswa atau 80,5%. Melihat data tersebut target ketuntasan klasikal 75 % telah tercapai sehingga dapat disimpulkan melalui metode bermain dapat meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran Menggiring bolapada siswa kelas VIII Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Pemangkat Kabupaten Sambas..

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini berjudul “penerapan permainan tradisional dalam pembelajaran lompat jangkit ” tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menerapkan permainan tradisional pada pembelajaran lompat jangkit .Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan dua siklus yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, refleksi, dan kesimpulan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP N 1 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kuburaya yang berjumlah 36 siswa, yaitu putri 20 orang dan putra 16 orang. Hasil peningkatan pembelajaran lompat jangkit diperoleh dengan cara membandingkan nilai observasi dengan awal tes sebelum tindakan yang dikenal dengan “pra siklus”. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang telah dilaksanakan, terdapat peningkatan nilai siswa ada setiap siklusnya pada pra siklus ketuntasan siswa hanya mencapai 8 siswa atau 24% kemudian sedikit peningkatan pada siklus pertama yaitu menjadi 15 siswa yang tuntas atau 44% kemudian melihat hasil dari siklus 1 ternyata masih belum mencapai target yang ditentukan sehingga peneliti melanjutkan ke siklus ke 2 adapun pada siklus kedua ini terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan yaitu jumlah siswa yang tuntas mencapai 27 siswa atau 87,5%. Melihat data tersebut target ketuntasan klasikal 75 % telah tercapai sehingga dapat disimpulkan melalui permainan tradisional dapat meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran lompat jangkit pada siswa kelas VIII Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Sungai Raya.Kata Kunci: Permainan tradisonal, lompat jangkit
