Abstract

In order to reduce breast cancer sufferers, the Indonesian Ministry of Health has made various efforts, one of which is creating Public Service Advertisements (PSAs) on YouTube social media. This research aims to find out what kind of PSAs support changes in people's behavior. This research uses a qualitative descriptive case study method. Data is analyzed using qualitative methods which are then presented and interpreted narratively or descriptively. The results of data analysis stated that the target community's behavior towards PSAs was quite positive. Most informants liked PSAs in the form of animations in the form of stories because they had a fear effect, thereby creating a desire to follow the invitation from the PSAs. Informants were of the opinion that the duration of the PSAs should not be too short so that it makes the PSAs less informative or should not be too long so that it makes the PSA boring. Informants stated that through PSAs, public or target audience awareness of breast cancer could be increased so that they were willing to follow the PSA's invitation.

Abstract

Globalisasi memberikan dampak signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, yang tanpa disadari, telah membuat generasi muda lebih tertarik pada kesenian modern. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan seni dan budaya lokal menjadi sangat penting, sebagai bagian dari pelestarian kearifan lokal. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membentuk generasi muda yang memiliki budi pekerti luhur, wawasan mengenai kearifan lokal, serta rasa cinta terhadap budaya lokal, sekaligus mendorong upaya pelestarian kebudayaan Sasak melalui pengenalan wayang Sasak di Pasraman Widya Sastra, Dusun Bengkoang, Desa Sokong, Kecamatan Tanjung, Lombok Utara. Metode yang diterapkan dalam kegiatan ini mencakup observasi, ceramah, dan pelatihan (workshop). Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa acara tersebut efektif dalam memperkenalkan seni dan budaya Sasak, khususnya wayang Sasak, kepada generasi muda melalui penggunaan media animasi, yang dipadukan dengan workshop mewarnai. Kegiatan ini terbukti berhasil meningkatkan minat peserta dan mempermudah pemahaman mereka terhadap materi yang disampaikan

Abstract

The main goal of marketing communications is to increase sales and build strong relationships with customers. This can be proven by the increasing number of new entrepreneurs emerging, especially entrepreneurs operating in the fieldmarketing on line. One of them is a product accountcigarette ieSampoerna Green. Sampoerna Green known as a manufacturerkretek type cigarettes which has long been known to the Indonesian people.This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive research approach. Qualitative research methods are research that aims to understand the phenomena experienced by research subjects, for example behavior, perceptions, motivations, actions and so on in a holistic manner. In practice, marketing strategies via Instagram accounts such as those carried out by the Sampoerna Hijau account have indeed mushroomed on social media, not only carried out by accounts with large numbers of followers, but also Instagram accounts with less than 100 thousand followers. carry out advertisements by using figures or artists who are considered capable of conveying their communication messages. Sampoerna Hijau is very aggressive in building branding to become Kretek Cigarettes which are described as having closeness between friends or companions. Sampoerna Hijau really understands how to build emotions in the audience or consum.

Abstract

The development of small and medium enterprises in Lombok is growing along with the development of industrial technology and tourism in Lombok. Based on data on the number of MSMEs in NTB, the City of Mataram ranks first with the most MSMEs in NTB with a total of 22,473 as of July 2021. However, in general, MSMEs in the city of Mataram still face obstacles such as capital, licensing, raw materials, product marketing, financial management and innovation. Based on observations made by the Community Service Team at Bumigora University, out of a total of 100 MSMEs surveyed, capital was the biggest obstacle for MSMEs in developing their business with a percentage of 37%, financial management 30%, promotion 17%, raw materials 15% , and others 11%. Based on the observational data, an action is needed to overcome the problems of MSMEs and help develop the businesses of MSME actors in the city of Mataram. The Bumigora University Community Service Team tries to facilitate MSMEs in facing challenges, especially those related to financial management and advertising by conducting training for MSME actors. MSME training is packaged in the form of seminars accompanied by practice in making digital financial reports and advertising language as a follow-up to this training.

Abstract

The problem found in the environment of SMP Negeri 1 Gerung is the lack of understanding of students in using or exploiting digital media as an effective learning tool, especially in the field of graphic design, which is currently the promotional media with the greatest use in society. This training was carried out with the aim of providing insight and experience for students so they know better how to use digital media properly and correctly. This training focuses on understanding and how to create poster designs using currently available digital media. For students, this training is very necessary so that they can use digital media professionally. The expected benefit is that students are able to understand and create poster designs by utilizing existing digital media and can broaden their horizons in graphic design science. The method in this activity is to provide material and design training using vector and bitmap image processing software, by providing understanding and training about poster graphic design that students can use, starting from providing an understanding of posters, showing what is needed to make a poster, and train how to make posters and how to use posters. The result of this activity is that students understand and are able to make posters and can utilize the posters they make. This activity also provides benefits for the teachers of SMP Negeri 1 Gerung who participated in the training, to be able to implement the knowledge they have to students and the wider community.

Abstract

Cultural values are concepts, beliefs, principles, and standards of behavior shared by a particular society or group. These values reflect the way a community views the world, life, and social interaction, and provide guidance for group members in living their daily lives. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. This method is carried out by analyzing, describing, and summarizing various conditions and situations from various data that have been collected from interviews or observations about problems in the field. This research was conducted in several steps to ensure accurate and relevant data. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that each work has its own cultural values contained in it, where each work has similarities in reflecting the identity and cultural heritage of the community. These values provide guidance for the community to maintain traditions and understand the meaning of life through the symbols in the artwork. This confirms that artwork is not only an aesthetic expression, but also a medium to convey deep and meaningful cultural messages. Thus, artworks play an important role in preserving and teaching cultural values to future generations.

Abstract

Kegiatan mewarnai merupakan sarana penting untuk mengembangkan keterampilan motorik halus, kreativitas, dan konsentrasi anak. Namun, observasi awal di bimbingan belajar menunjukkan masih rendahnya kemampuan anak dalam memilih dan memadukan warna, serta ketidakrapian dalam teknik pewarnaan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan mewarnai anak melalui penerapan model ATIK (Amati, Tiru, Kerjakan). Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan model Kurt Lewin, terdiri dari empat tahap: perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Pada siklus pertama, anak-anak diberi penjelasan teori tanpa contoh konkret, sedangkan siklus kedua menerapkan model ATIK dengan demonstrasi langsung. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada siklus kedua, di mana anak-anak mampu meniru contoh, mengombinasikan warna secara harmonis, dan menghasilkan karya lebih rapi. Analisis refleksi mengungkap bahwa pendampingan berbasis observasi dan peniruan efektif meningkatkan keterampilan teknis, namun perlu diimbangi stimulasi kreativitas agar anak tidak hanya terpaku pada contoh. Kontribusi pengabdian ini dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mewarnai anak, khususnya dalam aspek kreativitas dan ketelitian.

Abstract

Bahasa gaul merupakan fenomena linguistik yang berkembang pesat dalam interaksi sosial masyarakat kini, terutama di kalangan mahasiswa. Keberadaannya tidak hanya mencerminkan kreativitas berbahasa, tetapi juga menunjukkan cara individu membentuk identitas, solidaritas, dan kedekatan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan bahasa gaul sebagai praktik komunikasi budaya dalam lingkungan akademik melalui pendekatan pragmatik. Fokus utama terletak pada bagaimana bahasa gaul digunakan dalam berbagai konteks interaksi di lingkungan kampus, serta implikasi pragmatis dari penggunaannya terhadap norma komunikasi formal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, dokumentasi ragam tuturan mahasiswa, serta wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan sejumlah informan dari kalangan mahasiswa aktif. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan teori tindak tutur (speech act) dan implikatur Grice untuk memahami makna-makna yang tersirat dalam penggunaan bahasa gaul di lingkungan akademik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahasa gaul berfungsi sebagai penanda identitas kelompok, alat negosiasi sosial, serta sarana adaptasi budaya dalam komunitas kampus. Dalam situasi informal, bahasa gaul memperkuat rasa kebersamaan dan memfasilitasi komunikasi yang cair dan akrab. Namun, ditemukan pula kecenderungan terjadinya pergeseran batas formalitas dalam komunikasi akademik, yang berdampak pada biasnya norma-norma linguistik formal. Secara pragmatis, bahasa gaul sering digunakan untuk menyampaikan kritik secara halus, menurunkan tensi percakapan, dan menciptakan efek humor yang mempererat relasi sosial. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa bahasa gaul bukan sekadar gejala penyimpangan linguistik, tetapi mencerminkan praktik komunikasi budaya yang kompleks. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk memahami penggunaan bahasa gaul secara kontekstual agar tidak mengganggu fungsi bahasa Indonesia sebagai alat komunikasi ilmiah dan formal di lingkungan akademik.
