Abstract

This study aimed to investigate influence of perceived organizational support (POS) and teacher empowerment on teacher organizational commitment with job satisfaction as mediating construct. Study conducted on Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Pontianak, west Borneo, Indonesia. Participant are teacher student on professional education and training program/Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) at Institut Agama Islam Negeri Pontianak. Questionnaire used for collecting data. Findings reveal that the influence of perceived organizational suport (POS) on organizational commitment (OC) are not signifikan, but became positive significant while job satisfaction as mediating variable. perceived organizational suport (POS) positively predict job satisfaction. Islamic educational institutions are advised to increase teacher job satisfaction, because it relates to their organizational commitment to educational institutions.

Abstract

The sophistication of information technology has changed the educational model to become anti-establishment related to scientific authority, material literacy, time and place for religious learning. All knowledge is available on internet seem perfect and good. This study is library research aimed to describe the experience of the millennial moslem generation. The findings inform three critical points; first, the interaction process with the digital sources has imply for reducing the critical power of problem-solving. Second, The intensity in the digital world of seeking information makes communication styles changed, and third, digital education led limitedinteraction and collaboration. For further researcher are suggested to conduct study on strategies or methods to get authoritative sources for religious literature for students.

Abstract

This study aims to find planning concepts of Islamic Education management; based on this purpose, this research uses library research because it can export and find core concepts from various sources, especially from Qur'anic verses. Planning is determining policies and programs by utilizing all resources to achieve goals based on Islamic values. Planning must be intended for worship in the hope of being given ease and success by Allah SWT, with the full awareness that everything comes from Allah (minallah), with the power of Allah (billah) and will return to Allah SWT (ilallah).

Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 3 Jombang is one of the high-performing and competitive madrasahs, having been awarded the Research and Skills Madrasah, with a large number of students from pesantren Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang. This study aims to describe how it plans, implements, and evaluates its competitive advantages. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data obtained were analysed using thematic analysis. Triangulation and member check are used to enhance trustworthiness. The findings show that MAN 3 Jombang initiated competitive advantage planning through brainstorming, becoming a character-based madrasah, a healthy madrasah, and an Adiwiyata madrasah. This planning involved establishing key strategies, internalising Islamic values, holding work meetings, and setting goals based on the vision, mission, objectives, and strategy. The implementation was carried out by forming working groups, centres for excellence and innovation, extracurricular activities, digitalising services, offering excellent classes and programs, tahfidz, hybrid curriculum, habituation, providing role models, domestic and international partnerships, establishing internal quality assurance, and madrasah culture. Evaluation conducted through academic supervision, Madrasah Self-Evaluation, performance assessment, and product evaluation. This study provides a practical contribution to Islamic education management, especially in madrasas and pesantrens, by applying competitive advantage management grounded in Islamic values to improve quality, achievement, performance, and image branding. This study offers a valuable practical contribution to Islamic education management, particularly for madrasas within pesantren, by emphasising the implementation of competitive advantage management grounded in Islamic values to enhance quality, performance, achievements, and image branding.
