Abstract

In order to make continuous improvements and build a culture of quality in universities, especially in the implementation and development of study programs, each university should develop a strategy for developing study programs. Program development strategy is an important factor in the review or assessment of study program accreditation to determine the development of study programs that are in accordance with the National Higher Education Standards. (SN Dikti).  The method used in this study is a situation analysis using a SWOT analysis based on the performance indicators of the Study Program Management Unit or UPPS, which in this case is the Tarbiyah Faculty of IAIN Curup and the indicators of the study program, namely the IAIN Curup Arabic Language Education study program.  Data analysis is presented in the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) and External Factor Evaluation (EFE) matrices.  The purpose of this study is to measure the position of the existence of the study program on the External Internal (IE) matrix, so that it can be used as a basis in formulating strategies for the development of the IAIN Curup Arabic language education study program. The results of the IE matrix measurement show that the IAIN Curup Arabic language education study program is in a growth position, with an IFE result of 3.2 and an EFE matrix of 3,045.  The development strategy of the IAIN Curup Arabic language education study program based on the results of the analysis focuses on 4 activities, namely: Study program development, Study program penetration, Product Integration and Development. Abstract

إن عصر الثورة 4.0 يجعل جوانب التعليم يجب أن تتكيف مع التكنولوجيا والإنترنت كشبكة عامة لها دور مهم كوسيلة حرة للمعلومات والاتصالات. أحد الاستخدامات المهمة للتكنولوجيا والإنترنت هو نظام التعلم عن بعد من خلال التعلم الإلكتروني. يتضمن هذا البحث النوعي استخدام تقنيات جمع البيانات مع الملاحظة والمقابلات والتدوين. والنتيجة هي أن المحاضرات العربية في PJJ PAI IAIN SYEKH NURJATI CIREBON يتم تنفيذها باستخدام وسائط تكنولوجيا التعلم الإلكتروني. أظهرت النتائج أن التعلم باستخدام التعلم الإلكتروني يسهل على المحاضرين والطلاب تنفيذ عملية المحاضرة بمزيد من التعمق. ميزة هذا التطبيق هي أنه يمكن للطلاب والمحاضرين جمع الواجبات وتوزيعها وتقديرها دون التقيد بالزمان والمكان. يمكنهم تنفيذ هذه المهام في المنزل أو أينما كانوا. قلتُ.

Abstract

This research responds to the urgency of using technology as an online discussion forum in distance learning, especially in Arabic writing skills at PJJ PAI IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, Indonesia as a step in overcoming learning loss challenges that often arise in online learning. This study aims to explore the application of online discussions and analyze student responses to their application in Arabic writing skills learning at PJJ PAI IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. The research method uses a qualitative approach by applying interviews and content analysis to data from students involved in learning Arabic writing skills. The findings of this study reflect the diverse responses of students to the use of online discussions. Comprehension of the material experienced varying improvements, while writing skills showed mixed development among participants. Students' active participation in online discussions creates different learning dynamics. This research provides a comprehensive overview of student responses to this learning method, providing valuable insights for developing better learning approaches in a distance learning environment.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Buntet merupakan salah satu pondok tertua di Jawa Barat yang mampu mengaplikaiskan pendidikan multikultural pada santri dan masyarkat sekitar. Pendidikan multikultural harus dipahami bersama dan dipraktekan langsung dalam aktifitas keseharian. Santri yang datang berasal dari penjuru indonesia dan pastinya mereka dari budaya, bahasa, suku, bahkan etnis yang berbeda. Meskipun tidak tertulis (Hidden curriculum), pendidikan multikultural selalu dilakukan oleh santri dan masyarakat sekitar. karena pondok Buntet Pesantren keberadaannya di tengah-tengah penduduk asli atau masyarakat Buntet oleh karena itu santri dan masyarakat dapat bergaul bersosialisasi langsung. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observai langsung, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Adapun peneliti menganalisa data tersebut dengan mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan tahap akhir penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian maka konsep pendidikan multikultural pondok pesantren cirebon ialah menumbuhkan semangat hidup tanpa diskriminasi, intoleransi, dan saling menghargai dalam bingkai keberagaman budaya pada masyarakat plural sedangkan model pendidikan multikultural di pondok buntet pesantren ialah: 1) Forum Musyawarah Kubro, 2) Ngaji kuping, 3) mengapresiasi etnis yang berbeda dan 4) Toleransi.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the characteristics, supporting factors, inhibitory factors and its implications in improving students' speaking competence at the Al Amien Prenduan Islamic Boarding.  The research is conducted using a qualitative approach through data collection methods that include interviews, observations, and discussion groups. The study subjects consist of active students who participate in debate activities and mentors or related teachers. Data were analyzed using NVivo software to perform coding and thematic analysis, which allows for the identification of main themes and sub-themes related to the implementation of the debate program. The research results show that the characteristics of the debate program include the use of Standard Arabic, the active role of mentors, and the structuring of ethically stimulating debate discussions. Supporting factors include teacher support, adequate facilities, and motivation from fellow students. On the other hand, inhibitory factors encompass limitations in preparation time, disturbances from the surrounding environment, and obstacles related to the complexity of the language. The analysis using NVivo reinforces the findings that active student involvement in debate not only enhances speaking skills but also strengthens confidence and ethical conduct during discussions. The implications of this program include the enhancement of communication, effective oral communication skills, and the formation of character-responsive students who engage in ethical speaking.   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik, faktor pendukung, faktor penghambat serta implikasinya dalam meningkatkan kompetensi berbicara siswa di Pondok Pesantren Al Amien Prenduan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode pengumpulan data yang meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan kelompok diskusi. Subjek studi terdiri dari siswa aktif yang mengikuti kegiatan debat dan mentor atau guru terkait. Data dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak NVivo untuk melakukan pengkodean dan analisis tematik, yang memungkinkan identifikasi tema utama dan sub-tema yang terkait dengan pelaksanaan program debat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik program debat meliputi penggunaan bahasa Arab Standar, peran aktif mentor, dan penataan diskusi debat yang merangsang secara etis. Faktor pendukung antara lain dukungan guru, fasilitas yang memadai, dan motivasi dari sesama siswa. Di sisi lain, faktor penghambatan mencakup keterbatasan waktu persiapan, gangguan dari lingkungan sekitar, dan hambatan yang terkait dengan kompleksitas bahasa. Analisis menggunakan NVivo memperkuat temuan bahwa keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam debat tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara tetapi juga memperkuat kepercayaan diri dan perilaku etis selama diskusi. Implikasi dari program ini meliputi peningkatan komunikasi, keterampilan komunikasi lisan yang efektif, dan pembentukan siswa yang responsif karakter yang terlibat dalam berbicara etis.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the process of learning Arabic, especially in the aspect of the use of learning media and its impact on students in learning maharah kitabah both before and after Covid-19 at PPB IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon, this research method uses qualitative descriptive with a case study approach. Data was collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data results were analyzed by qualitative data analysis techniques, using research procedures referenced from Miles and Hubermen, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data display. The findings in the validity of data were tested with triangulation techniques.  The results showed that the media used before the pandemic referred more to textbooks, stationery, and written assignments. Meanwhile, the form of post-pandemic media use refers more to the use of online learning platforms, such as Google Classroom and campus-owned Enggal. While the impact on students is greater accessibility and flexibility, enrichment of learning materials, rapid feedback, student engagement and motivation, and collaboration and sharing. This research makes an important contribution to the understanding of the use of learning media in the context of maharah kitabah learning after COVID-19. The results of this study can be a guide for educators and policymakers in designing effective learning strategies, as well as helping to improve the quality of student writing learning after the pandemic.

Abstract

The preparation of Arabic teaching materials based on moderation values has been the focus of this research. The analytic philosophy approach is a foundation for detailing and integrating moderation values into teaching materials. This study aims to identify analytic philosophy's urgency in developing moderation value-based Arabic teaching materials. The analysis method used involves a qualitative approach, which analyzes the content of teaching materials developed using the principles of analytic philosophy. This analysis involves differentiating concepts, language rigor, and understanding cultural contexts. The results showed that analytic philosophy significantly enriched Arabic teaching materials by considering the diversity of students' moderation values. The learning steps applied include careful differentiation of concepts, rigor in the use of language, and continuous reflection and improvement. This research contributes to developing Arabic pedagogy responsive to students' values and culture, creating a framework combining analytic philosophy with moderation values in Arabic teaching approaches.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practice questions contained in the textbook "Mahir fi Lughoh Arabiyah" using Bloom's taxonomic approach. This approach is used to evaluate the level of thinking and understanding of students tested through practice questions. The analysis method is carried out by categorizing the problems in the textbook into six levels of Bloom's taxonomy, namely knowledge, understanding, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation. The results of the analysis show that the textbook "Mahir fi Lughoh Arabiyah" has successfully implemented Bloom's taxonomic approach well. The practice questions in the textbook cover different levels of taxonomy, from basic knowledge of Arabic vocabulary and grammar to students' ability to apply and analyze authentic Arabic texts. The study concluded that the textbook "Mahir fi Lughoh Arabiyah" had adopted Bloom's taxonomic approach well in designing practice problems. By covering various levels of taxonomy, this textbook is able to encourage students' thinking and understanding in learning Arabic. The recommendation of this study is the importance of using Bloom's taxonomy in designing practice problems to improve the effectiveness of Arabic learning in higher education.

Abstract

Keberlangsungan kehidupan dalam masyarakat akan harmonis jika hubungan antara laki-laki dan perempuan berjalan beriringan dan saling menghormati. Oleh karena itu, kesadaran akan perlunya memperbaharui hubungan antara laki-laki dan perempuan ke arah yang lebih adil dan setara terus berlanjut dan tetap menjadi topik kajian yang perlu dibahas. Hal ini dikarenakan dominasi laki-laki terus melekat akibat budaya matriarkal di masyarakat luas sehingga perempuan mengalami perlakuan tidak adil dan terpinggirkan, bahkan perempuan diremehkan dan memiliki kedudukan yang lebih rendah dibandingkan laki-laki. Dengan cara ini, studi dan diskusi tentang kesetaraan gender muncul, dan bahkan melahirkan gerakan yang dikenal sebagai feminisme Islam. Gerakan feminis Islam harus didasarkan pada reinterpretasi ajaran Islam, sehingga dapat memperkuat hak-hak perempuan dan memberi mereka tempat yang sama dalam masyarakat dan berpartisipasi dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan, termasuk di bidang politik dan ekonomi. Sedangkan untuk artikel ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan studi teks dan studi konteks sejarah. Studi teks mencoba menganalisis pola-pola dasar pemikiran yang terkandung dalam teks, sedangkan studi konteks berusaha mengkaji bagaimana realitas yang ada mempengaruhi konteks. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) yang memanfaatkan sumber pustaka untuk memperoleh data penelitian dan jenis penelitian meliputi teknik kualitatif-deskriptif mendokumentasikan sumber data yang relevan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan perspektif Riffat Hassan mengenai teks-teks suci yang ditafsirkan ulang sebagai bagian dari ijtihadnya dalam memperjuangkan perempuan untuk dapat tampil di depan umum dan tidak terpinggirkan dan bukan hanya makhluk pelengkap.
