Abstract

AbstractThis study focuses on the integration of social entrepreneurship values in Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Indonesia. Aiming to assess the factors influencing the success as well as the challenges, this study emphasizes how BUMDes strategically target social problems including poverty, resource access, and economic inequality to generate positive socio-economic outcomes for the community. However, limited resources and inadequate managerial capacity are widely reported to hinder their effectiveness. This qualitative research collected the data from observation and interviews with respondents managing the BUMDes. The analysis of qualitative data from six BUMDes in Java reveals that government support, partnerships, and active community involvement are essential to address the challenges. The findings suggest that with better strategic support and community collaboration, BUMDes have the potential to achieve their social goals and support local economic resilience, making a substantial contribution to sustainable rural development in Indonesia.

Abstract

During the period from 2030 to 2040, Indonesia is expected to experience a demographic bonus, with 60% of its population being of productive age. This presents significant opportunities for rapid economic growth and development. However, unprepared human resources and low public financial literacy, which lead to unwise decisions in response to technological advances, remain classic issues that must be addressed. Although online transactions and financial technology provide convenience, they also have negative consequences. Consequently, this research aims to confirm the impact of financial literacy on the millennial generation through a meta-analysis study. This study employs a systematic review method, synthesizing results from 60 relevant research journals collected from January 2000 to February 2022. Data were analyzed using JASP software, following the meta-analysis procedures, which include error correction, effect size calculation, and publication bias evaluation. The results corroborate previous research, emphasizing that better financial literacy significantly influences various aspects of an individual's life, including saving behavior, consumption patterns, investment interest, risk mitigation strategies, and retirement planning. These findings underscore the critical role of financial literacy in promoting wiser financial decisions and ensuring a more stable financial future for individuals and businesses.

Abstract

Abstract

JNE Kopma UNY's logistics demand increases 2% per week, the manual courier allocation system is unable to keep up, predictions are accurate and real-time is needed. However, there is no exact accuracy for this case. The study was conducted to determine the accuracy of the smallest Mean Percentage Error (MPE) at JNE Kopma UNY by observing sales data for 2022 to predict demand. The data was analyzed using the Naive Approach, SMA and WMA methods, then measured using the MPE to determine the best forecasting method. The software used is Microsoft Excel 2016. The 3 Month (SMA) produces the highest sales prediction (Rp. 38,668,850) for January 2023 compared to Naive Approach (Rp. 35,086,330) and 3 Month WMA (Rp. 37,993,380). 3 Month SMA is proven to be superior with the lowest MPE (12.07%) and consistent performance. Naive Approach is inaccurate (MPE 20.26%) and 3 Month WMA performance is unstable (MPE 14.27%). This research recommends 3 Month SMA for JNE Kopma UNY to increase the accuracy of sales predictions and optimize stock. Opportunities for further research are open regarding the application of 3 Month SMA in various contexts.
