Abstract

Prescription archives play an essential role in supporting healthcare evaluation, particularly in analyzing drug utilization patterns. This study aims to evaluate the comparison between generic and branded antihypertensive drug prescriptions based on prescription archive data of inpatients at Siti Hajar Islamic Hospital Mataram in 2023. The research employed a descriptive method with a retrospective approach using archival document analysis. The results showed that generic drug prescriptions were more dominant than branded drugs, reflecting the implementation of cost-efficiency policies and rational drug use within the National Health Insurance system. However, branded drugs were still prescribed in certain clinical conditions. From an archival perspective, well-managed prescription records enable accurate, systematic, and accountable analysis of drug utilization patterns. This study highlights the importance of archival management in improving healthcare service quality and decision-making processes.

Abstract

Medical record archives play a crucial role in supporting healthcare services, particularly in providing reliable data for evaluation and decision-making. This study aims to analyze inpatient healthcare service patterns based on medical record archives in hospitals in 2023. The research employed a descriptive method with a retrospective approach using archival document analysis. The results indicate that medical record archives provide comprehensive information regarding patient conditions, treatment patterns, and healthcare services. From an archival perspective, properly managed records improve data accessibility, accuracy, and accountability. However, inconsistencies in documentation and incomplete records were still found, which may affect data quality. This study highlights the importance of strengthening medical record management systems to support effective healthcare services and evidence-based decision-making.

Abstract

Prescription records are an essential form of dynamic archives in healthcare institutions that support administrative accountability and clinical decision-making. This study aims to analyze physicians’ compliance in prescription writing based on prescription archive data of outpatients at Mataram City General Hospital. The research used a descriptive quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach supported by archival document analysis. A total of 200 prescription records were analyzed using completeness indicators based on pharmaceutical service standards. The results showed that the level of physician compliance reached 78%, categorized as fairly good. However, several components such as dosage, physician signature, and patient identity were still incomplete. From an archival perspective, properly managed prescription records enable systematic, accurate, and accountable evaluation of healthcare services. This study highlights the importance of strengthening archival management systems to improve data quality and patient safety.

Abstract

The mail disposition system is a crucial component in hospital administration, serving as a mechanism to ensure effective information flow, coordination, and decision-making processes. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the mail disposition system in hospital administration based on recent scientific literature. The research method employed is a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review. The findings indicate that the implementation of an electronic disposition system significantly improves efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in administrative processes. However, several challenges persist, including limited technological infrastructure, inadequate human resource competencies, and resistance to digital transformation. Therefore, the integration of a comprehensive electronic disposition system is recommended to enhance hospital administrative performance and service quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efficiency of records management by measuring the retrieval time of administrative service archives at Mataram Hospital as an effort to improve the quality of healthcare services. Using a descriptive quantitative method with an observational approach to 50 document request transactions in April 2026, the results showed that the average time required to retrieve archives was 13.5 minutes, which still exceeds the threshold of the Standard Operating Procedure (SPO) set at a maximum of 10 minutes, with a standard fulfillment rate of only 60%. The constraint analysis revealed that this delay was triggered by limited storage capacity causing overcrowded document arrangement, a high frequency of misplaced documents (misfile) due to undisciplined use of outguides (tracers) during peak hours, and suboptimal archive room lighting. The impact of this condition directly extends queues at the administration counter and hinders the speed of both managerial and medical decision-making. As a strategic solution, this study recommends reorganizing the archive layout to be more ergonomic, conducting periodic disposal of inactive records, and accelerating the transformation toward a digital archiving system to minimize dependence on physical searching. The implementation of these solutions is expected to ensure data security, enhance patient safety through rapid information availability, and optimize the overall quality of administrative services at Mataram Hospital.

Abstract

Direct Bilirubin Is An Important Parameter In Assessing Liver Function, Particularly In Bilirubin Conjugation And Excretion Processes. Long-Term Alcohol Consumption Is Known To Cause Liver Dysfunction, Potentially Increasing Bilirubin Levels In The Blood. This Study Aimed To Evaluate Differences In Direct Bilirubin Levels Between Individuals With A History Of Alcohol Consumption And Non-Consumers. This Study Used An Analytical Observational Method With A Cross-Sectional Approach. The Sample Consisted Of Two Groups: Alcohol Consumers And Non-Consumers, Selected Using Purposive Sampling. Direct Bilirubin Levels Were Measured Using A Spectrophotometric Method. The Results Showed A Difference In Direct Bilirubin Levels Between The Two Groups, With Higher Levels Observed In Alcohol Consumers. Therefore, Alcohol Consumption May Affect Liver Function As Reflected By Increased Direct Bilirubin Levels.

Abstract

The ability to solve mathematical word problems is an important indicator in measuring students' problem-solving skills. However, many students still make errors when solving word problems, particularly in the topics of the Greatest Common Divisor (GCD) and the Least Common Multiple (LCM). This study aims to describe the types of students' errors based on the Newman Error Analysis (NEA) framework and to describe the forms of scaffolding provided to address these errors. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving three seventh-grade students from SMP Negeri 2 Dompu, who were selected purposively based on the results of a pretest. Data were collected through written tests, in-depth interviews, documentation, and the provision of scaffolding. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that students made five types of errors according to Newman's framework: reading errors, comprehension errors, transformation errors, process skills errors, and encoding (final answer) errors. The most dominant errors occurred at the transformation and process skills stages. The implementation of scaffolding in the forms of explaining, reviewing, and restructuring was proven to help students correct their errors in solving GCD and LCM word problems. The posttest results showed an improvement in students' abilities after receiving scaffolding, indicating that this approach is effective for use in mathematics instruction. making learning more meaningful, improving students' understanding of geometric concepts, and fostering students' appreciation for regional cultural heritage.
