Abstract

This research aimed at finding out the effect of cooperative learning models of Student Facilitator and Explaining in Bilingual learning of the thematic learning achievement of class V in the group VI district of Boawae District Nagekeo. This research was experimental research using the research design of pseudo experiments, with the research draft "Posttest Only Control Group Design". The subject in this study was students class V of Padhapae Primary School as an experimental group totaled 28 students, and Raja Primary School students as a control group totaled 25 students. Test result data were analyzed by statistics descriptive quantitative. From the results of the analysis obtained t-test value 4.038 is greater than 2.021, with its significance value was 0.000 smaller than 0.05, then the decision was H0 refused and H1 accepted. Based on the posttest results in the experimental group gained an average of 72.35 while the control group gained an average of 60.64. The hypothesis test results showed that there was a significant influence in the implementation of a cooperative learning model for Student Facilitator And Explaining in Bilingual learning of the thematic learning achievement of the V-class students in Boawae subdistrict. Nagekeo Regency.

Abstract

Keberagaman bahasa daerah di Indonesia sering belum terakomodasi dalam pembelajaran sekolah dasar yang dominan berbahasa Indonesia, sehingga siswa penutur Bahasa Ibu berisiko mengalami hambatan pemahaman dan partisipasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi kultur sekolah melalui strategi pembelajaran berbasis Bahasa Ibu pada kelas rendah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif di SD Inpres Wudu melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara terstruktur dan semi-terstruktur dengan kepala sekolah, guru, serta siswa, dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara tematik dengan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil menunjukkan penggunaan Bahasa Nage sebagai jembatan belajar meningkatkan keberanian siswa menjawab, berdiskusi, dan mengekspresikan ide, serta membangun iklim kelas yang lebih inklusif melalui rutinitas, media lokal, dan transisi bertahap ke Bahasa Indonesia. Kesimpulannya, strategi Bahasa Ibu mendukung penguatan kultur sekolah dan literasi awal, namun membutuhkan ketersediaan bahan ajar, pelatihan guru, dan perencanaan transisi yang konsisten serta dukungan orang tua sekolah.

Abstract

Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah memberikan penguatan kapasitas kepada para pendidik dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan strategi pembelajaran multilingual yang kontekstual dan berbasis budaya lokal. Kegiatan ini melibatkan para guru Sekolah Dasar (SD) dari berbagai kecamatan yang dihadiri oleh para pengawas SD dan SMP se-Kabupaten Ngada. Materi yang diberikan mencakup teori dasar pembelajaran multilingual, peran bahasa daerah dalam pendidikan dasar, serta teknik integrasi bahasa ibu, bahasa Indonesia, dan bahasa asing dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Para peserta juga mendapatkan pelatihan langsung melalui sesi workshop untuk merancang perangkat ajar berbasis multilingual yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa dan lingkungan belajar mereka. Selain itu, kegiatan ini menjadi forum dialog terbuka antara guru, pengawas, dan pemangku kepentingan pendidikan mengenai tantangan dan peluang dalam penerapan pembelajaran multilingual di sekolah dasar. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dari para peserta, serta terciptanya komitmen bersama untuk menerapkan strategi pembelajaran multilingual secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the forms of oral traditions and values of the surviving Ngadhu Bhaga ethnic oral traditions at Ngada Regency that could potentially be used as learning materials in elementary schools. The method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. The data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews with traditional figures, the Education and Culture Office, and documentation. Data analysis uses Campbell's model with a concept-setting approach. Research results show that the Ngadhu Bhaga ethnic oral tradition is still widely found in folktales, myths, legends, and pantuns, and has a potential cultural wealth to be used as contextual learning material. Values such as cooperation, respect, responsibility, and local wisdom are contained in the tradition and are highly relevant to instilling them in students early on. The oral traditions acquired in this study are Inerie folklore, Bu'e Wio folklore, Watu Kaba story, Wolo Watu Ata story, Ngadhubhaga myth or ancestral travel legend, and Ngadhubbhaga traditional proverbs. Stories – these stories and proverbs contain high values that are highly relevant to strengthening student character, and also serve as a form of preservation of local culture in elementary schools. This study recommends that this form of oral tradition be integrated into Indonesian, PPKn, IPS, and also the Art of Culture.
