Abstract

This study describes the potential of microalgae biofuel using the oxidation ditch algae reactor. Production of biomass, chlorophyll a and lipids of Chlorella vulgaris increased with time and was observed to be 2440 mg / L, 3.78 mg / L, and 16.91% after 7 days, with tofu waste. Production of biomass, chlorophyll a and lipids was 2050 mg / l, 2.4 mg / l, 14.34%, with tannery waste. Production of biomass, chlorophyll a and lipids was 2430 mg / l, 3.47 mg / l, 16.79%. Production of biomass, chlorophyll a and lipids of Spirulina Plantesis increased with increasing time and it was observed that 3320 mg / L, 4.81 mg / L, and 23.86% after 7 days, with tofu waste the production of biomass, chlorophyll a and lipids increased with time. and observed 3210 mg / L, 2.67 mg / L, and 19.34% after 7 days, with waste from the tannery production of biomass, chlorophyll a and lipids of Spirulina Plantesis increased with increasing time and was observed to be 2980 mg / L, 4 mg / L, and 19.53% after 7 days. This study shows that biofuel production and wastewater treatment is made possible by Chlorella Vulgaris & Spirulina Plantesis using tofu waste & leather tanning waste

Abstract

ABSTRACT The increase in laundry activity in the city of Surabaya has led to an increase in the use of detergents, where the content in detergents has a bad effect on the environment. This study uses an adsorption method with commercial activated carbon upflow flow with flow variations of 5 ml / minute, 10 ml / minute, and 15 ml / minute with a height variation of 10 cm, 15 cm, and 20 cm and a sampling time of 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours, 10 hours and 12 hours. The results obtained were the highest efficiency from phosphate removal of 99.07% and anionic surfactant (detergent) 95.35%. The optimum discharge is 5 ml / minute with a height of 15 cm of phosphate and 20 cm of anionic surfactant (detergent). The suitable model is freunlidch, where the R2 value is 0.9418.

Abstract

Composting is a process of decomposition of organic matter by utilizing microorganism. This composting uses coconut ash dust and goat manure with the addition of Orgadec bioactivator Manure that has entened the composting process is then analyzed for levels of Nitrogen (N), Carbon (C), pH, Temperature Water Content and C/N Ratio. The results of the analysis are then compared with the quality standarts of SNI 19-7030-2004. Manure analysis was carried out on 7, 14, 21, 28, and 35 days. The results of the analysis of manure with a material variation of 1:1:1 are more effective and require a relatively fast composting time of <30 days, compared to variations of 1:1:0 dan 1:2:1 which require a relatively long decomposition time, namely >35 days.

Abstract

PMKP Kupang is a Eucalyptus oil manufacturing factory that has been operating in Mojokerto Regency and is owned by Perum Perhutani. When doing their work, production employees get high enough of pressure so that the mental workload of employees increases. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the risk of mental workload experienced by employees and the factors that influence it. So that PMKP Kupang can determine the right steps to fix this. The method used in this research is NASA-TLX which is a method to find out how much mental workload is. From the result of the NASA-TLX calculation, the workload value of all employees is 80.6 (very high) with the largest mental workload indicator in PMKP Kupang is the Effort (EF) factor of 270.

Abstract

The amount of waste generated by the people of Surabaya in 2020 reached 2,913.18 tons per day. With an increasing population growth rate as happened in Wonorejo Village, Surabaya City, which has a high population growth rate. This study aims to determine the amount of waste generated at the TPS. The method used for sampling and measurement is SNI 19-3964-1994. Based on the results of sampling, the amount of waste generated in Wonorejo Village is 2.94 m3/person/day. Then the average composition of organic waste is easy to decompose, organic waste is difficult to decompose, and inorganic waste is 44.3%, 1.3%, and 54.5%, respectively.

Abstract

Indonesia terkenal dengan kekayaan sumber daya alamnya yang sangat melimpah. Negara ini memiliki salah satu hutan terluas di dunia, lahan pertaniannya sangat subur, dan pemandangan alamnya yang memukau. Wilayah perairannya yang luas juga menyediakan berbagai jenis ikan yang memiliki peran penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Salah satu jenis tambang yang krusial adalah pertambangan tanah liat. Tanah liat adalah jenis tanah yang terdiri dari partikel-partikel sangat kecil dalam skala mikroskopis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif dengan tujuan memberikan gambaran yang sangat detail mengenai rencana pertambangan. Dalam kerangka penelitian ini, software Global Mapper juga digunakan. Pertambangan ini direncanakan akan berlokasi di Kabupaten Trenggalek, Provinsi Jawa Timur, dengan luas rencana seluas 4,88 hektar. Estimasi cadangan tanah liat mencapai sekitar ± 594.803 m3. Rencana produksi pertambangan tanah liat ini adalah sekitar ± 140 m3 per hari, dengan asumsi jumlah hari kerja efektif per bulan adalah 25 hari, sehingga rencana produksi tanah liat adalah sekitar ± 3.418 m3 per bulan atau ± 45.122 m3 per tahun. Rencana kegiatan pertambangan tanah liat akan dilakukan hingga tahun kelima, sesuai dengan rencana wilayah pertambangan. Indonesia is famous for its abundant natural resources. Its vast water area also provides various types of fish which have an important role in human life. One crucial type of mining is clay mining. Clay is a type of soil that consists of very small particles on a microscopic scale. This research uses a descriptive approach method with the aim of providing a very detailed description of the mining plan. Within the framework of this research, Global Mapper software was also used. This mining is planned to be located in Trenggalek Regency, East Java Province, with a planned area of ​​4.88 hectares. Estimated clay reserves reach approximately ± 594,803 m3. The clay mining production plan is around ± 140 m3 per day, assuming the number of effective working days per month is 25 days, so the clay production plan is around ± 3,418 m3 per month or ± 45,122 m3 per year. The planned clay mining activities will be carried out until the fifth year, in accordance with the mining area plan.

Abstract

Pengomposan adalah proses dekomposisi bahan organic dengan memanfaatkanaktivitas mikroorganisme. Pengomposan ini menggunakan bahan debu sabutkelapa dan kottoran kambing dengan tabahan bioaktivator orgadec. Pupuk kandangyang sudah masuk proses pengomposan kemudian di analisa kadar Nitrogen (N),Karbon (C), pH, suhu, kadar air dan rasio C/N. Hasil analisa kemudian dibandingkan dengan standart baku mutu SNI 19-7030-2004. Analisa pupuk kandangdilakukan pada hari ke 7, 14, 21, 28, dan 35 hari. Hasil analisa pupuk kandangdengan variasi bahan 1:1:1 lebih efektif dan memerlukan waktu pengomposan yangrelative cepat yakni <30 hari, dibandingkan dengan variasi 1:1:0 dan 1:2:1 yangmemerlukan waktu dekomposisi yang realtif lama yakni >35 hari.

Abstract

PMKP Kupang merupakan pabrik pembuatan minyak kayu putih yang telahberoperasi di Kabupaten Mojokerto dan dimiliki oleh Perum Perhutani. Dalammelakukan pekerjaannya pegawai produksi mendapatkan tekanan yang cukup tinggisehingga beban kerja mental pegawai meningkat. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukananalisis reksiko beban kerja mental yang dialami oleh pegawai dan faktor yangmempengaruhinya. Sehingga PMKP Kupang dapat menentukan langkah yang tepatuntuk memperbaiki hal tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalahNASA-TLX yang merupakan metode untuk mengetahui seberapa besar beban kerjamental. Dari hasil perhitungan NASA-TLX didapatkan nilai beban kerja seluruhpegawai sebessar 80,6 (sangat tinggi) dengan indicator beban kerja mental terbesar pada PMKP Kupang adalah faktor Tingkat Usaha (TU) sebesar 270.

Abstract

Jumlah sampah yang dihasilkan masyarakat Surabaya di tahun 2020 mencapai 2.913,18 ton perhari. Dengan laju pertumbuhan penduduk yang semakin meningkat seperti yang terjadi di Kelurahan Wonorejo, Kota Surabaya yang memiliki laju pertumbuhan penduduk tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besaran timbupan sampah pada TPS. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengambilan dan pengukuran sampel adalah SNI 19-3964-1994. Berdasarkan hasil pengambilan sampel,besarnya timbulan sampah di Kelurahan Wonorejo adalah 2,94 m3/orang/hari. Kemudian rata- rata komposisi sampah organik mudah membusuk, sampah organik sukar membusuk, dan sampah anorganik secara berturut- turut adalah 44,3%, 1,3%, dan 54,5%.

Abstract

Peningkatan aktivitas laundry di perkotaan Surabaya menimbulkan peningkatan penggunaan deterjen ,dimana kandungan dalam deterjen memiliki pengaruh buruk terhadap lingkungan .Penelitian ini menggunakan metode adsorpsi dengan karbon aktif komersial aliran upflow dengan Variasi debit 5 ml/menit, 10 ml/menit,dan 15 ml/menit dengan variasi tinggi 10 cm,15 cm, dan 20 cm serta waktu sampling 2 jam,4 jam, 6 jam, 8 jam, 10 jam dan 12 jam . Hasil yang diperoleh efisiensi tertinggi dari penyisihan fosfat sebesar 99,07 % dan surfaktan anionic (detergen) 95,35 %. Debit optimum adalah 5 ml/menit dengan ketinggian 15 cm fosfat dan 20 cm surfaktan anionic (detergen).Model yang sesuai adalah freunlidch, dimana nilai R2 0,9418.
