Abstract

Kabupaten Wonosobo adalah kabupaten yang terkenal akan wisatanya, yaitu pariwisata alam dan  wisata kulinernya. Salah satu wisata kuliner minuman saat ini yang sedang terkenal yaitu Kopi Bowongso. Minuman kopi memang saat ini sedang terkenal di kalangan tua maupun muda. Kopi Bowongso tumbuh dan dikelola di Desa Bowongso oleh Bina Sejahtera. Kopi ini mulai diperkenalkan sejak tahun 2013. Kopi Bowongso memiliki cita rasa yang unik dan aftertaste caramel yang menjadikannya sebagai kopi terenak di tingkat nasional. Strategi pemasaran “Satu Pintu” mampu mengangkat nama desa dan membuat kopi ini terkenal. Saat ini konsumen Kopi Bowongso tidak hanya warga lokal, akan tetapi juga mancanegara. Selain menjual kopi, Bina Sejahtera juga menjual agrowisata kepada para tamunya. Wisata sekaligus belajar mengenai pembudidayaan kopi. Akan tetapi, masih terdapat beberapa faktor yang kurang mendukung Kopi Bowongso. faktor-faktor tersebut berupa aksesibilitas, sarana prasarana, dan keamanan, dan teknologi yang masih kurang. Di balik itu semua, meminum kopi merupakan sebuah tradisi dari desa. Sehingga harus selalu dilestarikan. Kopi Bowongso harus didukung untuk menjadi produk unggulan dan daya tarik wisata kuliner dari Wonosobo.

Abstract

The Jambi Pesparawi event is an annual event organized by members of the Church Choir and is a target market segment for hotels that need to be handled properly, for that the hotel must have a strategy so that the event can be held at Gallery Prawirotaman Hotel Yogyakarta. This study aims to find out how the strategy carried out by the sales admin in managing the Jambi Pesparawi Event. This study used the Case Study research method at the Jambi Pesparawi Event at the Gallery Prawirotaman Hotel Yogyakarta. The results showed that the strategy carried out by the Sales Admin of the Prawirotaman Hotel Yogyakarta Gallery was divided into three stages, namely the event planning stage, the event implementation stage, and the post-event stage.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mapping of research into several scopes of the tourism sector by discussing several topic parameters regarding satisfaction, loyalty, and homestay which were published during 2017 – 2022 and indexed on Google Scholar, analyzing topics related to Satisfaction and Loyalty in Homestay. This study uses a qualitative method with a thematic analysis approach as a data analysis method. This research utilizes the Publish or Perish (PoP) application to collect research data from research results indexed on Google Scholar by entering the keywords "Satisfaction and Loyalty in Homestay". Determination of the sample was carried out by screening publications in the form of journal articles, conference proceedings, book chapters, and books published from 2017-2022. The research data was analyzed using the VoS Viewer application. The results of mapping based on keywords illustrate that there is a research relationship related to the topic of Customer Loyalty with Effect, Guest Satisfaction, and homestay management, then the topic Effect is closely related to customer loyalty, satisfaction, development, perceived value, and tourism. Furthermore, research on the topic of tourism is closely related to community, development, effects, attractiveness, destination loyalty, homestay facilities, and other topics. From several existing research topics, future research can be carried out, such as the topic of risk management associated with the satisfaction and loyalty of tourists staying in homestays. This research was conducted only limited to data sources from Google Scholar so that future research can be developed with data sources originating from Scopus, Crossref, and IEEEXplore.

Abstract

The development of increasingly competitive tourism to boost regional income and grow the economy from the tourism sector certainly opens up space to explore regional potential through tourism development, one of which is the development of the Semarang bridge fountain as the newest tourist destination in Semarang, Central Java, which is interesting to study. The purpose of this research is to develop bridge fountain tourism and to know the Semarang government's strategy for developing bridge fountains and how the role of the community in tourism development. This research uses a qualitative research model. The results of this study found that in the development of a bridge fountain, there are two factors, namely internal and external, internal factors consist of: 1) manager or organization, 2) human resources, 3) relations between human resources, 4) accessibility, 5) facilities, 6) potential and 7) funding. While external factors consist of 1) regulation, 2) competitors, 3) tourists, 4) market share, 5) technology, and 6) promotion. From the results of the study it can be concluded Semarang Bridge Fountain is the newest tourist destination in Semarang City which is managed by the government, namely the Semarang City Public Works Department by presenting its main potential, namely dancing fountains. The Semarang City Public Works Service has created a team of Semarang Bridge Fountain (SBF) Field Officers who are always on guard at the location and have good communication relationships and the Semarang Bridge Fountain is in a strategic location. But it is very unfortunate because there is no cooperation with the surrounding community, the facilities that are owned are still lacking and requires the development of dancing fountains so that they are not boring.

Abstract

Culture and harmonization between two ethnic groups, namely Malay and Chinese on Bangka Island, are commonplace for local people on Bangka Island. The harmonization of the Malay and Chinese people of Bangka gave rise to the term "To Ngin Fan Ngin Jit Jong" which means that Chinese and Malays are the same. However, there are still local people who do not know the phrase local wisdom. This scientific article entitled "Preservation of Local Wisdom 'To Ngin Fan Ngin Jit Jong' in Harmonization of Malay and Chinese Community Life on Bangka Island", describes the answer to the problem formulation in the form of history from "To Ngin Fan Ngin Jit Jong" as well as efforts to preserve local wisdom "To Ngin Fan Ngin Jit Jong on Bangka Island. This lack of community knowledge about local wisdom supports the author in researching this scientific article. From the data that has been obtained and produces strategies or efforts in the preservation of local wisdom in order to introduce it to the public and tourists.

Abstract

Tourism has an important role in the country's economic growth, but its impact on the environment and culture often attracts attention. Therefore, sustainable tourism policies in Indonesia are the focus of the Indonesian government. This research aims to analyze and evaluate the implementation of sustainable tourism policies in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that the implementation of sustainable tourism policies in Indonesia involves the concept of protecting the environment, improving people's quality of life, and strengthening destination competitiveness. This policy covers waste management, renewable energy, and protection of flora and fauna. Sustainable tourism also contributes to job creation, cultural preservation, and local community participation. Destination competitiveness is enhanced by environmentally friendly infrastructure and the promotion of responsible tourism. The sustainability of natural and cultural heritage is a focus, such as in Komodo and Borobudur National Parks. Partnerships between government, society and the tourism industry are the basis, while technological innovation supports sustainability. Even though there are challenges, joint efforts are expected to be able to overcome obstacles to realizing sustainable tourism in Indonesia.

Abstract

Purpose — This study aims to analyze the procurement and processing of plastic waste from the Piyungan Integrated Waste Disposal Site (TPST) for the construction of Monument of Anthropocene (MoA) as a means of promoting ecotourism, while also examining the obstacles encountered during the monument-building process.Method — This research utilizes qualitative descriptive methods, which involve describing a phenomenon occurring within the community. The study was conducted at the Anthropocene Monument, employing data collection techniques such as observation, documentation, and interviews, with an interview conducted with the curator of the Anthropocene monument. The acquired data is analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis, encompassing data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.Result — The building process of MoA involves the use of bricks made from plastic waste. In addition to its function as a building, MoA serves as a multifaceted hub that fosters learning, exploration, information sharing, knowledge exchange, and collaborative efforts in production and work. MoA represents a form of ecotourism that showcases a strong sense of responsibility towards the environment and local culture by transforming plastic waste into valuable resources, both as raw materials in the form of bricks and as works of art. As an ecotourism site, MoA also offers three programs, namely art, culture, and circular economy.Contribution — This research makes a valuable contribution to the existing literature on ecotourism as an innovative approach to plastic waste management in less explored tourist areas in Indonesia. Moreover, the study specifically introduces MoA as a new and unique tourist destination.

Abstract

Batu Angus Geological Site is one of the tourist attractions that can support Ternate Island towards Geopark Island in Indonesia. Although the attraction of this tourist attraction is very potential, it is not yet popular and the visit of foreign and domestic tourists to the location of these attractions is also still not optimal. The objectives of this study are (1) to determine the existence of angus geological sites on Ternate Island, (2) to describe the management of angus geological sites on Ternate Island, and (3) to develop a management strategy for angus geological sites. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method where data is obtained through interviews, field observations, documentation, and literature studies. Sampling in this study was carried out using purposive sampling method. The results of this study, namely (1) The Angus Rock Area of Ternate Island has been identified and catalogued by IAGI (Indonesian Geologists Association) North Maluku together with the Ternate City Bappelitbangda Office and the Ternate City Tourism Office, (2) The Angus Rock geological site is very good, but still lacks facilities and infrastructure and lacks Human Resources (HR), the government and the surrounding community need to work together to make the Angus rock geological site into one of the tourist attractions that can support Ternate Island towards a geopark island in Indonesia. (3) The strategy used to improve the management of angus stone geological site in supporting Ternate Island towards Geopark Island in Indonesia by using strength-opportunity strategy, weakness-opportunity strategy, strength-threat strategy, and weakness-threat strategy. The four strategies can make the angus stone geological site better. By applying the right strategies, it can improve the management of Batu Angus geological site on Ternate Island.

Abstract

Tourism development and management do not exclude the possibility of embracing the Fourth Industrial Revolution, including the use of information and communication technology to realize smart tourism. This is crucial because tourism development must adapt to technological advancements and innovations to provide the best service to tourists. This research employs a mixed-method approach that integrates quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative data is derived from statistical indicators of visits to understand the diversity of viewpoints and questionnaire responses from tourists. Qualitative data includes interviews with informants, observations, and research documentation processed through SWOT analysis to formulate strategies based on identified internal and external factors. The study found that the management of the Singkil Beach Karang Pakis tourist destination had not fully maximized its tourism potential. Therefore, a tourism destination development strategy is formulated based on the concepts of strengths-opportunities, weaknesses-opportunities, strengths-threats, and weaknesses-threats. The concept of smart tourism is applied through the implementation of smart experiences, destinations, and business ecosystems as part of the development strategy. By integrating information and communication technology, this concept promises innovation in tourist destination management. An increase in tourist visits, thereby enhancing the economic quality for stakeholders, such as Pokdarwis, tourism managers, and the local community marked the successful implementation of the smart tourism concept.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the promotional strategy carried out by the Morotai Island Regency Tourism Office via Instagram social media. Interviews with the marketing division of the Morotai Island Regency Tourism Office and followers of the @dispar.morotai account were research subjects using qualitative descriptive methods. The data obtained was primary and secondary data, through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the Morotai Island Regency Tourism Office has not maximized the use of Instagram social media to promote tourist attractions. This promotional strategy involves several stages, such as segmentation, targeting, positioning, and branding.
