Abstract

Tourism development and management do not exclude the possibility of embracing the Fourth Industrial Revolution, including the use of information and communication technology to realize smart tourism. This is crucial because tourism development must adapt to technological advancements and innovations to provide the best service to tourists. This research employs a mixed-method approach that integrates quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative data is derived from statistical indicators of visits to understand the diversity of viewpoints and questionnaire responses from tourists. Qualitative data includes interviews with informants, observations, and research documentation processed through SWOT analysis to formulate strategies based on identified internal and external factors. The study found that the management of the Singkil Beach Karang Pakis tourist destination had not fully maximized its tourism potential. Therefore, a tourism destination development strategy is formulated based on the concepts of strengths-opportunities, weaknesses-opportunities, strengths-threats, and weaknesses-threats. The concept of smart tourism is applied through the implementation of smart experiences, destinations, and business ecosystems as part of the development strategy. By integrating information and communication technology, this concept promises innovation in tourist destination management. An increase in tourist visits, thereby enhancing the economic quality for stakeholders, such as Pokdarwis, tourism managers, and the local community marked the successful implementation of the smart tourism concept.

Abstract

Kenduri Sko is a culture-based tourism event that grew from the tradition of the Kerinci tribal community in Sungai Full City, this event is an ancestral heritage tradition that has been carried out for generations, the implementation of the Kenduri Sko event involves many parties, therefore good cooperation between stakeholders involved in its management is needed. This study aims to determine the model of stakeholder collaboration in the management of Kenduri Sko events. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods, the informants are elements of the Pentahelix consisting of government, academia, business, society and media. The data used are primary data and secondary data, data collection is carried out by discussion with informants through focus group discussion (FGD) forums in addition, data is also obtained from the results of literature studies on books and previous research that have relevant topics. The results of this study show that the Pentahelix collaboration model currently applied to the Kenduri Sko event has not been effective, therefore it is necessary to develop a collaboration model into Hexahelix so that governance in the implementation of Kenduri Sko can be more effective and optimal.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang di bahas dalam penelitian ini adalah Pelestarian Sego Godog Sebagai Makanan Legendaris Di Kabupaten Bantul Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi yang dilakukan dalam Pelestarian Sego Godog Sebagai makanan Legendaris di Kabupaten Bantul Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Sedangkan tektik pengumpulan data yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner. Setelah data yang di peroleh terkumpul kemudian di lakukan analisis data dengan menggunakan teknik SWOT. Dari hasil penelitian yang di peroleh menunjukkan bahwa Secara keseluruhan, Fasilitas utama dan fasilitas pendukung di Warung Sego Godog sudah lengkap. Namun jumlah fasilitas seperti kursi dan meja masih kurang untuk menampung banyaknya pengunjung yang datang setiap harinya. Sebaiknya pengelola memperhatikan hal tersebut untuk dapat menyediakan fasilitas meja dan kursi lebih banyak demi kenyamanan para pengunjung yang ingin menikmati Sego Godog.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the promotional strategy carried out by the Morotai Island Regency Tourism Office via Instagram social media. Interviews with the marketing division of the Morotai Island Regency Tourism Office and followers of the @dispar.morotai account were research subjects using qualitative descriptive methods. The data obtained was primary and secondary data, through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the Morotai Island Regency Tourism Office has not maximized the use of Instagram social media to promote tourist attractions. This promotional strategy involves several stages, such as segmentation, targeting, positioning, and branding.

Abstract

Pariwisata berperan dalam kesejahteraan masyarakat, sebagaimana dalam Undang Undang Nomor 10 Tahun 2009 tentang Kepariwisataan pada pasal 3. Dalam undang-undang tersebut dijelaskan beberapa fungsi kepariwisataan ialah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan jasmani, rohani, serta intelektual wisatawan dengan rekreasi dan perjalanan, juga meningkatkan pendapatan negara dengan jalan mewujudkan kesejahteraan rakyat. Masyarakat dapat berperan pengembangan pariwisata dalam hal pengembangan kesadaran, pemahaman, dan juga penghayatan. Untuk itu peran masyarakat mencoba melakukan sebuah pendekatan berbasis akademik dalam melihat dan mengembangkan pariwisata dengan mempergunakan metode yang cocok dalam meningkatkan minat dan ketertarikan dengan menggunakan Metode 4A atau dalam pengartian adalah Attraction, Accesibilty, Amenity, Anciliary Services. Penelitian ini berjenis kuantitatif deskriptif. Yang mana data yang didapatkan berbentuk angka, lalu dilakukan pengolahan dan alasisis data untuk memperoleh gambaran dan hubungannya antara variabel yang dilibatkan pada penelitian. Alat analisis data yang menggunakan software SPSS 26.0 yang meliputi uji instrumen, uji asumsi klasik, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan seluruh variabel berpengaruh secara signifikan ialah attraction (X1), amenity (X2), accesbility (X3), dan acilliary (X4), berpengaruh positif dan signifikan kepada motivasi berkunjung wisatawan ke Candi Borobudur, dan variabel yang paling berpengaruh atau memiliki pengaruh yang paling besar adalah variabel amenity (X2).

Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat merupakan aspek penting dalam pengembangan Ekowisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Menjawab dua rumusan masalah yaitu Pertama, menganalisis bentuk partisipasi pemangku kepentingan dalam pengembangan sumberdaya manusia. Kedua, mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis strategi Balai Taman Nasional Komodo dalam meningkatkan Ekowisata Taman Nasional Komodo. Hasil kajian menunjukkan partisipasi pemangku kepentingan sudah berjalan dengan baik, namun program pemberdayaan tidak dilakukan secara partisipatif dimana masyarakat cenderung dijadikan konsumen program sehingga hal ini berdampak pada efektifitas, sustainabilitas dan perlu koordinasi kondusif antar stakeholders. Balai Taman Nasional Komodo dalam implementasinya menerapkan strategi intensif untuk program pemulihan ekosistem perairan Kawasan, mengupayakan strategi preventif dengan melakukan patroli pengamanan terpadu bersama stakeholder kaitannya dengan upaya pelestarian biodiversitas di Taman Nasional Komodo. Strategi kompetitif dan konservatif dengan prioritas konservasi seluruh zonasi Kawasan Taman Nasional Komodo serta strategi Inovatif untuk kolaborasi kuat antara pemerintah, masyarakat, dan lembaga non-pemerintah akan menghasilkan win-win solution dalam pengelolaan Kawasan konservasi Taman Nasional ke depan

Abstract

This research aims to find the potential that exists in Kampung Garam Kebumen so that we can determine strategies to develop it as an educational tourist attraction. This research uses a qualitative research method with descriptive analysis which focuses on something whose object is natural, where the researcher is the key to the instrument. The research site is located in Tlogopragoto Village, Mirit, Kebumen Regency. The data collection method using accidental sampling is included in the nonprobability sampling section by collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis technique using the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions based on SWOT analysis. The validity of the data uses data triangulation. The results of this research show that Kebumen Salt Village has the potential as an educational tourism industry that can be visited by tourists to see the process of processing salt which is consumed by people in Indonesia. This processing process is an educational tourism attraction, tourists can also practice this process. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis of the tourism industry, it can still be developed with the right marketing strategy, so that it can penetrate foreign export markets.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan di sebuah perusahaan konstruksi yang berlokasi di Kota Yogyakarta. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik survei, yang mencakup observasi serta penyebaran kuesioner kepada 38 responden dari perusahaan tersebut. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan oleh manajemen perusahaan memiliki dampak terhadap kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini diperkuat dengan tingkat signifikansi α = 0,05, hasil uji t sebesar 7,755, serta nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Dengan demikian, hasil pengujian hipotesis mengindikasikan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan berperan positif dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di perusahaan konstruksi yang diteliti

Abstract

Purpose — This study aims to analyze the procurement and processing of plastic waste from the Piyungan Integrated Waste Disposal Site (TPST) for the construction of Monument of Anthropocene (MoA) as a means of promoting ecotourism, while also examining the obstacles encountered during the monument-building process.Method — This research utilizes qualitative descriptive methods, which involve describing a phenomenon occurring within the community. The study was conducted at the Anthropocene Monument, employing data collection techniques such as observation, documentation, and interviews, with an interview conducted with the curator of the Anthropocene monument. The acquired data is analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis, encompassing data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.Result — The building process of MoA involves the use of bricks made from plastic waste. In addition to its function as a building, MoA serves as a multifaceted hub that fosters learning, exploration, information sharing, knowledge exchange, and collaborative efforts in production and work. MoA represents a form of ecotourism that showcases a strong sense of responsibility towards the environment and local culture by transforming plastic waste into valuable resources, both as raw materials in the form of bricks and as works of art. As an ecotourism site, MoA also offers three programs, namely art, culture, and circular economy.Contribution — This research makes a valuable contribution to the existing literature on ecotourism as an innovative approach to plastic waste management in less explored tourist areas in Indonesia. Moreover, the study specifically introduces MoA as a new and unique tourist destination.

Abstract

Airbnb has become a serious competitor to conventional hotels in the sharing economy. This study aims to compare the factors influencing customer satisfaction and repurchase intentions among Airbnb and hotel users in Bali. Using a survey method with 230 respondents, the factors examined included perceived authenticity, perceived value, and perceived risk. The results showed that perceived authenticity and perceived risk had a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction. Meanwhile, perceived risk did not have a significant negative influence. Other findings indicate that customer satisfaction positively and significantly influenced repurchase intentions. While there was a significant difference in satisfaction levels between Airbnb and hotel users, there was no significant difference in repurchase intentions between the two groups.
