Abstract

This writing departs from the author's concern for the reality that often occurs in the leadership of Catholic Youth in fostering a spirit of leadership, where the leadership spirit of OMK is still lacking because they often forget responsibility, which is caused by the influence of the times which makes them more happy themselves, have their own opinion , act alone and boast about themselves, so that they still have not found their true identity as OMK. The purpose of this writing is to understand and understand the theory of OMK leadership and to understand the spirit of creative and innovative leadership in OMK. The method used in this thesis is literature review. Thus, from the theory that has been described, it is hoped that OMK will be able to carry out their responsibilities in realizing the ideals and hopes of the Church, because OMK are individuals who still have a fresh leadership spirit and are still strong in service. Through OMK the Church will be assisted in various services both liturgically, ministry and pastoral. Therefore, if OMK is to be a true leader, they must be able to challenge a process, be able to work together, give themselves, be humble, and be able to apply good moral values ​​to everyone.

Abstract

Judul penelitian ini adalah Strategi Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Agama Katolik melalui Model Quantum Teaching. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan. Sedangkan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi mencapai hasil belajar berdasarkan model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik. Penelitian ini diangkat dan diteliti dilatarbelakangi oleh situasi pembelajaran di mana siswa masih kurang percaya diri, sulit memilih kata atau tampak ragu-ragu dalam berbicara, motivasi yang jarang diberikan oleh guru, yang menyebabkan kurangnya memiliki kesan yang berarti pada siswa. Model pembelajaran quantum teaching adalah salah satu model yang dapat mengatasi persoalan yang dialami oleh siswa dalam pembelajaran, termasuk dalam Pendidikan Agama Katolik, karena model ini memotivasi siswa dalam menciptakan suasana belajar siswa secara baik dan positif karena ada suasana yang nyaman dan menyenangkan, pelajaran dapat dimengerti dan diterima dengan mudah oleh siswa serta membimbing siswa ke arah berpikir yang sama dalam satu saluran pikiran yang sama. Adapun strategi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Katolik melalui pembelajaran quantum teaching adalah: membangun komunikasi atau interaksi antara guru dan siswa secara positif; menciptakan suasana kelas yang positif; menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan; memaksimalkan waktu yang ingin dicapai dalam keberhasilan siswa dalam hal belajar; dan mempersiapkan sarana dan prasarana untuk mendukung proses belajar siswa di kelas.

Abstract

This research is a literature review and aims to explore various literature of the Order of Clare Capuchins and reflect on the challenges and opportunities to live the characteristics of contemplative life in the present. as for the challenges of contemplative life at this time are experiencing an identity crisis, a crisis of appreciation of faith, pride, and dealing with scientific and technological advances. The way to face these challenges is through discernment, persevering in prayer, meditating on the word of God, realizing the work of the Holy Spirit, living in the presence of God, daring to enter silence, living joy, having humility, remaining patient and living simply.

Abstract

The background of this research is to explore Hannah Arendt's thoughts on the relationship between education and natality, which are generally summarized in a paper on education as an ethical event. The purpose of this research is to reveal Hannah Arendt's thought that education is related to how every student who comes before the educator is a fragile person, who needs an ethical attitude from the educators in treating them. Some of the core of Hannah Arendt's thoughts are first, phenomenology of action that not all actions in education can produce something good; second, education is an act of production that must produce something good; third, education as an action that cannot be predicted in advance, because of the new things brought by students and changing the face of the world; fourth, education as a story about formation that leads students into a world full of crises and being able to face them; fifth, a call to all humans to be responsible for caring for educational activities.

Abstract

The university community has three pillars in carrying out its duties and functions, namely the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The three pillars are Teaching, Research, and Community Service. In this case, the service carried out is the development of faith for the people at Stasi Santo Thomas Onodohalawa. The development of the faith of the people is an act of love that aims to develop the faith of the people. The faithful of Stasi St. Thomas Onodohalawa are among the people who are willing to follow faith formation for the growth of faith that is useful for arranging a better life as Christians. The openness and enthusiasm of the people is an opportunity for STP Dian Mandala Lecturers to realize their identity as educators on campus and at the same time as solid teachers of the Catholic faith. The methods used for this community service are Liturgical Celebrations, sharing, and catechesis. This is the starting point of the need for faith development of the people at St. Thomas Onodohalawa. Based on these needs, the lecturers work together to divide the team in carrying out the coaching activities. The lecturers also involve students as a form of cadre for prospective young catechists. The preparation of the material was carried out by the team by studying together and exploring various reading sources that support the theme of community development. The purpose of this service is to help the growth of the faith of the people at the station. Thus, they are able to live in society as good and virtuous citizens in accordance with the true teachings of the Catholic faith.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process of Catholic religious education in the classroom experienced as only for the sake of cognitive formation that is done simply. Cognitive formation is not an easy thing to do, but requires a strategy for the achievement of maximum learning outcomes. In reality, in the learning process, students follow more, so that their cognition is getting weaker. In this case, Jerome S. Brunner suggests that, cognitive theory becomes very important in achieving educational goals, including in Catholic religious education. Meanwhile, the purpose of this research is that students can achieve good mental or cognitive quality, not just intelligence alone. The method used in this research is the literature review method. The results of this study are first, cognitive learning theory is a theory in which it states that the learning process takes precedence over the learning outcomes. Second, the active participation of individuals in the cognitive process is the basis for achieving the learning objectives of Catholic religion. Third, Catholic religious teachers as facilitators who motivate and evaluate students in the learning process of Catholic religious education. Fourth, Catholic religious teachers can use Bruner's cognitive theory for the application of Catholic religious education learning in the classroom.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the researcher's concern about educators who pay less attention to cognitive aspects and are less creative in carrying out the learning process in the classroom so that it affects the results of learning achievement. The purpose of this study is to examine the contribution of Jean Piaget's cognitive learning theory to student learning outcomes, especially in learning Catholic religious education at SD RK Mutiara Gunungsitoli. Qualitative research using a thematic approach was used as the research method. The research site and subjects were selected by targeted sampling. Data analysis was conducted in 3 stages: data reduction, data presentation and data validation. The theoretical foundation is based on the explanation of cognitive learning theory, the application of Catholicism in religious education and its contribution to the achievement of educational outcomes. Based on the research conducted, it was found that teachers apply cognitive learning theory to students. Teachers adhere to Catholic religious education learning strategies and teaching and learning methods to improve student learning outcomes. The application of cognitive learning theory from Jean Piaget contributes to the formation of intellectual or intellect, especially in learning achievement.

Abstract

This research departs from the concern over the reality of the implementation of the independent curriculum which is still not optimal, the difficulty of teachers in adjusting to the independent curriculum and inadequate facilities and infrastructure. The variables in this study consist of an independent curriculum, PAK learning and PAK learning implementation strategies based on an independent curriculum. The purpose of this study is to find out about the independent curriculum and PAK learning and the extent of the implementation of PAK learning based on the independent curriculum. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. The sample selection in this study used purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data validity testing is done by triangulation, namely data source triangulation and technical triangulation. Based on the research that has been carried out, the research results illustrate that the PAK learning implementation strategy based on the independent curriculum at SMK Negeri 2 Mandrehe Utara has strategies that include simplified lesson plans, provision of teaching tools, and more independent learning for teachers and students, so that learning is more enjoyable and meaningful. The independent curriculum has had a positive impact on SMK Negeri 2 Mandrehe Utara in the learning process, especially in PAK learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what the SEIP method means and how teachers apply it in learning for students in junior high schools. This study applies a literature study method through the collection of library sources to obtain research data. Library data collection is limited to library collection materials only without requiring field research. In this case, the author collects relevant reference sources, such as books, documents, the Indonesian dictionary, and so on. Literature search with the keywords "Implementation", "SEIP Method (Spiritual Emotional Intellectual and Physique)", and "Junior High School". The results of the study show that the SEIP method is a consequence of awareness of self-authenticity and activates the four intelligences inherent in each individual. One way for teachers to be able to carry out this task is to develop strategies and methods used in delivering lesson materials. The SEIP method is one method that can be used by teachers so that learning materials can be digested and understood by students so that the learning process becomes more active and creative.

Abstract

This research was motivated by symptoms of student indiscipline who showed behavior that violated established school regulations. This situation must be paid attention to by schools through the formation of disciplinary character. The aim of this research was carried out by researchers to determine the school's strategy in forming the disciplined character of students. The research method used in this research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. Sample selection used purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Data validity testing was carried out using triangulation, namely data source triangulation and technical triangulation. Researchers found the findings, namely the school's strategy in forming the disciplined character of students at SD Negeri 075047 Bakaru which includes guidance during morning roll call by the picket teacher, strengthening the class teacher, the role of religious teachers, pamphlet media, school rules, class rules and teachers being role models for discipline. applied to students with the aim of continually forming disciplinary character to provide good changes in disciplinary character for students. This is proven by showing that students have a disciplined character who obeys the existing regulations at SD Negeri 075047 Bakaru.
