Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility, effectiveness, and practicality of the MEFOSIS learning media (Metamorphosis Flipbook Media) in improving conceptual understanding of fourth-grade elementary school students. This is a research and development (R&D) study using the 4D model (Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination). The subjects were fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Brajan, Kasihan, Bantul, consisting of 10 students in a limited trial and 18 students in a field trial. Data collection techniques included questionnaires and tests, with data analysis using percentages and paired sample t-tests. The results show: (1) MEFOSIS media is highly feasible, with expert assessments of 93% for media and 98% for content, both categorized as “Highly Feasible.”. (2) The media is effective in improving students' conceptual understanding, evidenced by increased average scores from pretest to posttest: from 53 to 76 in the limited trial and from 69 to 80 in the field trial. The paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. (3) MEFOSIS is also proven to be practical. In the limited trial, student and teacher responses were 94% and 90%, respectively, while in the field trial they were 98% and 94%, all falling into the "Very Good" and "Highly Feasible" categories. Thus, MEFOSIS is feasible, effective, and practical for teaching the concept of metamorphosis

Abstract

The role of media in the learning process is very important, because creative and interesting learning media can deepen students' understanding and achieve learning goals. One effective medium is Mephosis (Metamorphosis Flipbook Media), which is designed to help students understand the concept of metamorphosis material and get their attention in learning. The use of Mephosis (Metamorphosis Flipbook Media) can clarify students' understanding of the animal life cycle change system, as well as increase students' interest in reading by arousing curiosity and curiosity about metamorphosis material. Mefosis (Media Flipbook Metamorphosis) knows the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of learning media to improve learning literacy in grade IV students of SD Krapyak Wetan. This research and development (Reserch and Development) uses a 4D model. Media feasibility by material experts obtained a percentage of 94% with a very feasible category, by media experts obtained a percentage of 97.33% with a very feasible category. The practicality by the teacher in the field trial obtained a percentage of 93% with the very good category, the practicality of the media by students in the field trial obtained a percentage of 93% with the very good category. The effectiveness of the media in the field trial obtained an average of 65 pretest and the postest increased to 82. The paired sample t-test on the results of the field trial obtained a Sig.(2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05 which means that Mephosis (Media Flipbook Metamorphosis) is effectively used to improve learning literacy in grade IV students of SD Krapyak Wetan.

Abstract

The investigation into the creation of educational media Grade IV primary school students can benefit from MEFOSIS (Metamorphosis Flipbook Media) by developing their cognitive thinking skills. Research and Development (R&D) of the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) is the methodology employed. With the use of field tests and limited tests, experts in theory and learning tools verify the accuracy of the tool to enhance learning. With a score of 87.50% from material experts and 95.00% from media experts, the validation results demonstrate that MEFOSIS is very practicable to use.The results of students (96% in limited tests and 97% in field tests) and teachers (86%) indicate that the medium is very practical. The average value of the pretest to posttest increased from 56 to 76 (restricted test) and from 60 to 83 (field test), demonstrating the media's effectiveness. The findings of the paired sample t-test were significant (p = 0.000 <0.05), suggesting that pupils' cognitive abilities had significantly increased. In conclusion, MEFOSIS has been shown to be workable, useful, and efficient when used in fundamental science teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, 1) Kelayakan, 2) Kepraktisan, dan 3) Efektivitas media E-Ragam Budi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik kelas IV B MI Maulana Maghribi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau yang biasa dikenal dengan Metode Penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Model desain yang digunakan peneliti adalah model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah observasi dan angket. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah analisis data kuantitatif yang meliputi analisis data validasi produk, analisis data respon peserta didik dan guru, analisis data observasi keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik dengan observasi awal dan akhir, uji normalitas, uji-t, dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa, 1) Kelayakan media E-Ragam Budi ditinjau dari penilaian ahli materi memperoleh persentase rata-rata 93% dan ahli media 1 dan 2 memperoleh 87% dengan kategori sangat layak. 2) Kepraktisan media E-Ragam Budi dapat dilihat dari rata-rata presentase respon siswa memperoleh 87% dan respon guru memperoleh 94% dengan kategori sangat menarik dan praktis. 3) Keefektifan media E-Ragam Budi dilihat dari uji N-Gain kelas menunjukkan rata-rata 0,46 < 0,7 dengan kategori sedang dan uji paired sample t-test memperoleh nilai Sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti bahwa media pembelajaran E-Ragam Budi efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa kelas IV B MI Maulana Maghribi.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an animated video learning media based on Powtoon on the topic of recognizing the life cycle of living things to improve the motivation and learning outcomes of third-grade elementary school students. This research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The study was conducted at SD Negeri Tegalrejo II involving 54 third-grade students from classes III A and III B. Data collection techniques included expert validation questionnaires (material and media experts), teacher and student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests in the form of pretest and posttest. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed media. The results showed that the Powtoon-based learning media developed was categorized as very feasible, with an average feasibility percentage of 85% based on the assessments of material and media experts. The practicality test also indicated very positive responses from teachers and students, with a convenience percentage of 87.5% and practicality of 100%. Furthermore, the implementation results demonstrated an improvement in students’ learning outcomes, as indicated by the increase in the average scores of pretest and posttest in both limited and field trials. The results of the paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a significant difference before and after the use of the media. Therefore, the Powtoon-based learning media is considered valid, practical, and effective for use in IPAS learning on the life cycle of living things in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Powtoon-based learning media on the topic “Recognizing Animals Around Us” to improve the learning interest of third-grade students at SD Negeri Pingit Yogyakarta. The research used a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Data were collected through expert validation questionnaires, teacher and student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests (pretest and posttest). The results showed that the media was highly feasible, with media expert validation of 85% and material expert validation of 84.52%. Teacher responses reached 89.7% and student responses 96.88%, indicating that the media is practical and well-received. Learning activities also showed very good results with an average observation score of 90%, reflecting high student engagement and interest. Furthermore, student learning outcomes increased significantly, with the average score rising from 63.33 (pretest) to 89.76 (posttest). Statistical analysis using the Paired Sample t-Test showed a significance value of less than 0.05, indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest results. Thus, Powtoon-based learning media is effective in improving both students’ learning interest and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar memerlukan media yang mampu menyajikan konsep abstrak secara visual, kontekstual, dan interaktif sesuai dengan karakteristik murid pada tahap operasional konkret. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif BERBUKIT (Berkenalan dengan Bumi Kita) berbantuan augmented reality serta mengetahui pengaruh penggunaannya terhadap prestasi belajar murid kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model 4-D yang meliputi tahap define, design, development, dan disseminate terbatas. Subjek penelitian adalah murid kelas V SD Negeri Godean 2, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes, angket, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media BERBUKIT dinyatakan valid dan praktis berdasarkan penilaian ahli, respons guru, dan respons murid. Hasil posttest menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol, serta seluruh murid kelas eksperimen mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Meskipun nilai effect size tergolong kecil, perbedaan hasil belajar dan respons positif murid serta guru menunjukkan dampak positif penggunaan media. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif BERBUKIT berbantuan augmented reality layak digunakan dan efektif sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of school counselor empathy in supporting the career decision making process of Madrasah Tsanawiyahstudents. The research method used is a qualitative method. Data collection methods use in-depth interviews with school counselor, observation, and document analysis. The targets of this research are school counselor at Madrasah Tsanawiyah, Magelang Regency, Central Java Province. Data analysis in this research is 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data presentation, and 4) drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using Triangulation Technique. The research results show that school counselor Islamic Junior High Schools in Magelang Regency apply empathy effectively to build strong relationships with students, help them identify interests and potential, and provide relevant information regarding various career paths. The discussion highlighted the importance of empathy as the main key in guiding students to face future challenges and threats. In conclusion, the empathy of the school counselor at Madrasah Tsnawiyah Magelang Regency supports the students being guided to make further career decisions.

Abstract

The purpoise of thiis stuidy wais to devielop a learining media called Cialista Wheiel (Reading and Writing Wiords) to impirove the literacy sikills of first-girade studentsi at SDN Mejing i2 Yogyakartia. The methodi used was Researchi and Developiment (R&D) with ithe ADDIE model, whiich includes analiysis, design, deivelopment, implemientation, and evaluatiion stages. Diata were collectied through observiation, interviews, qiuestionnaires, and tests, and analyzeid based on feasibiility, practiicality, effeictiveness, and statistiical tests (noirmality, homogeneiity, and hypothesisi testing). The resulits showed thait the media wias feasible, witih a score of 75.5i% from media experits and 87.5% from matierial experts. The practiciality test shoiwed very high results, wiith teacher responises at 90.6% andi student responsies at 97.8%. The data weire normally distriibuted and homogenieous. Furthermorie, the indepeindent sample t-test sihowed a signifiicance value iof 0.009 < 0.05, indiicating a signiificant effect of the Cailista Wheel meidia on studients' literaicy skills. The effiectivieness test also showedi an improvementi in students' iliteracy scores from a preteist average of 46.42 to a posittest averagie of 85.89, with an incriease of 39.47. Thus, the Caliista Wheel leairning media is valid, practical, and effecitive in imprioving studeints' liteiracy skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of schools in improving students’ digital literacy at SD Masjid Syuhada Yogyakarta, covering aspects of policies, facilities, and school culture, as well as their integration with religious values. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.The results show that schools have a strategic role in enhancing digital literacy through well-structured policies, the provision of technological facilities such as Interactive Flat Panel (IFP), and the development of a digital culture based on Islamic values. Teachers act as facilitators and mentors in guiding students to use technology critically, safely, and responsibly. The implementation of digital literacy is not only focused on technical skills but also on character building and digital ethics. Therefore, the institutional role of the school as a whole is proven to be effective in supporting holistic digital literacy development.
