Abstract

In the era of globalization and rapidly changing technology, the role of entrepreneurship is increasingly important to create innovation, create jobs, develop infrastructure, and improve people's welfare. In the Indonesian economy, entrepreneurship can be one of the answers to encourage economic growth. This is because the economy of the Republic of Indonesia is now in the shadow of weakening purchasing power, which is influenced by rising interest rates and high inflation. For this reason, by continuing to increase entrepreneurship through the right policies and a conducive business environment, it is hoped that employment will be more wide-open, increase people's income and ultimately contribute to public consumption, thereby promoting sustainable and inclusive economic growth in Indonesia. This is the basis for community service activities in the form of business model development training for beginner entrepreneurs to be carried out. Located in three different sub-districts in Simalungun Regency, namely Bandar, Bosar Maligas and Bandar Masilam Districts, with the target of getting participants who will later be included in the advanced fostered members.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in regional economic growth because they are the largest absorbers of labor and a significant contributor to GDP. However, many MSME actors are still constrained by the lack of knowledge in business planning and management. In Ujung Padang and Bosar Maligas Districts, the potential of MSMEs is quite high in the culinary, trade, and handicraft sectors. The observation results show that most MSMEs are still operating traditionally without a clear business plan, thus hindering business development, access to financing, and competitiveness. To answer these problems, the service team held a "Business Planning Training for MSME Actors" to improve understanding and skills in preparing an applicable business plan. This training is expected to be able to encourage the development of MSME businesses in a more targeted and sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study confirms that the benefits and ease of use of QRIS directly encourage public interest in transacting MSME products in Pematangsiantar City. Using a quantitative research method with 100 respondents, the data were analysed using SmartPLS to examine the relationships among variables. The results show that the greater the benefits and the easier QRIS is to use, the greater users' interest in choosing digital transactions. Another important finding is the crucial role of user experience (UX), which has been shown to amplify the influence of these benefits and conveniences. Intuitive UX, simple interface, and clear transaction processes can reduce potential barriers and increase the adoption of financial technology. In addition, the digital footprint of each transaction also strengthens the sense of security and trust between users and MSME actors. More broadly, this research makes a strategic contribution to accelerating Indonesia's digital economy transformation. With increased transparency and efficiency of MSME transactions, the flow of money remains in the country, thereby strengthening public awareness and supporting economic independence. These findings affirm the urgency of enhancing digital infrastructure and improving UX quality to expand the use of QRIS in society.
