Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital-based madrasah leadership on teacher performance at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Palembang. The study used a correlational quantitative method with a population of all teachers and madrasah principals, involving 45 teachers and 1 madrasah principal as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics and regression. The results show that the digital leadership of the madrasah principal is in the good to very good category, especially in terms of digital vision and technology-based communication indicators. Overall, teacher performance is classified as good, especially in digital learning planning and implementation, although teacher professional development still needs to be improved. Regression analysis showed a positive and significant influence between digital leadership and teacher performance (β = 0.62; p < 0.05), indicating that digital leadership improves learning effectiveness and teacher motivation. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of digital leadership with Islamic values, strengthening a technology-based work culture in madrasahs. These findings provide practical and theoretical contributions to the development of digital leadership in Islamic education.

Abstract

Abstract

Educational quality assurance is a crucial strategy in ensuring the effectiveness of educational institutions, particularly in Islamic education such as madrasahs. Instructional supervision serves as a key instrument in quality auditing, as it functions to evaluate, guide, and improve the teaching and learning process. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic education quality audits through instructional supervision at MTs Negeri 1 Palembang. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical case study design. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, including the principal, vice principal of curriculum, and teachers. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The findings indicate that instructional supervision plays a significant role in improving teacher competence, teaching quality, and the effectiveness of educational management. Supervision is implemented systematically through planning, classroom observation, evaluation, and follow-up actions supported by digital systems. Furthermore, supervision encourages teacher reflection and instructional innovation. Therefore, quality auditing through instructional supervision is proven to be an effective strategy in enhancing the quality of Islamic education in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Student mental health is a public health issue influenced by family and psychosocial factors. This study examined the relationship between Islamic education in the family and the mental health of 100 vocational high school students in Palembang, Indonesia. Using a quantitative cross-sectional design, data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, independent t-test, and simple linear regression. The results showed that Islamic education in the family was generally well implemented, with moral education showing the highest distribution. Students’ mental health was also mostly in the good category, although inner peace remained the weakest aspect. Male students and those aged 17–19 years had higher mental health scores, with moderate effect sizes. Family Islamic education had a positive and significant relationship with student mental health (p < 0.05) and contributed 7.5% to its variance, while 92.5% was explained by other factors. These findings indicate that Islamic education in the family may support students’ mental health, although broader psychosocial factors remain more dominant. Therefore, parents, schools, and families need to strengthen open communication, religious values, intellectual development, physical education, and psychosocial support to reduce academic stress, especially among female students and those aged 15–16 years.
