Abstract

The limited readiness of journal management systems within several Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKIS) in South Sulawesi has hindered many journals from meeting the national SINTA accreditation standards. Common issues include weak editorial governance, irregular publication schedules, insufficient editorial capacity, and suboptimal utilization of the Open Journal Systems (OJS). This community service program aims to enhance the accreditation readiness of five PTKIS journals through a problem-based mentoring approach. The method involved a preliminary assessment, root-problem identification, action-plan development, technical training, intensive mentoring, and evaluation based on governance indicators and accreditation document completeness. The mentoring was conducted for five journals: JISH (SINTA 5), Bustanul Fuqaha (SINTA 4), Wahatul Mujtama’ (SINTA 5), AILREV (SINTA 4), and Al-Ahkam (SINTA 5). The results demonstrate significant improvements in editorial governance, publication consistency, template standardization, accreditation documentation, metadata quality, DOI integration, and compliance with publication ethics. All journals showed increased preparedness for accreditation submission and improved fulfillment of SINTA indicators. The implications of this program highlight the effectiveness of problem-based mentoring as a capacity-building model for PTKIS journals and reinforce its potential for broader replication in strengthening the quality of scholarly publishing across academic institutions.

Abstract

Krisis lingkungan modern mencerminkan renggangnya relasi harmonis manusia dan alam. Dalam Islam, persoalan lingkungan tidak hanya bersifat ekologis, tetapi juga teologis dan etis. Hadis Nabi saw. memuat prinsip-prinsip pemeliharaan lingkungan, seperti larangan merusak, anjuran menjaga kebersihan, perlakuan etis terhadap makhluk hidup, dan perintah memakmurkan bumi. Namun, pemahaman dan implementasi hadis-hadis tersebut di masyarakat masih parsial dan belum sepenuhnya merespons problem lingkungan kontemporer. Artikel ini menganalisis konstruksi pemahaman hadis ekologis dalam pemikiran Yusuf al-Qaradawi serta relevansi dan implementasinya pada masyarakat pesisir Campalagian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan yang dipadukan dengan analisis kontekstual realitas sosial-ekologis masyarakat pesisir. Data primer bersumber dari karya al-Qaradawi, khususnya Kaifa Nata’a>mal ma‘a al-Sunnah al-Nabawiyyah dan Ri’a>yah al-Bi>’ah fi> Syari>‘ah al-Isla>m, didukung literatur ekologi Islam dan data kondisi lingkungan setempat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa al-Qaradawi menawarkan metodologi pemahaman hadis ekologis yang komprehensif melalui keselarasan hadis dengan al-Qur’an, pendekatan tematik, analisis konteks historis dan kebahasaan, pembedaan tujuan dan sarana, serta integrasi maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah. Prinsip-prinsip ini relevan bagi masyarakat pesisir Campalagian, namun implementasinya masih terkendala rendahnya kesadaran ekologis, keterbatasan infrastruktur, dan kebiasaan sosial yang belum sejalan dengan etika lingkungan Islam. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pemikiran Yusuf al-Qaradawi memberikan landasan metodologis dan normatif penting bagi pengembangan etika lingkungan Islam serta penguatan implementasi hadis ekologis dalam kehidupan masyarakat pesisir.

Abstract

The main problem of this research is how is the responsibility of the local government towards Regional Original Revenue in the development of Palopo City. This type of research is field research with a normative syar'i approach and empirical juridical which emphasizes adhering to the rationale in accordance with the texts, both Al-Qur'an and hadith, and juridical normative which emphasizes the legislation, while the data sources are primary data obtained directly from the field through interviews and secondary data obtained from library studies, journals on the internet and others. The data collection methods are observation, interview, and documentation methods. Furthermore, data management techniques are carried out by means of data classification, data reduction, data editing and data marking results. The results of the study say that: (1) The local government in managing PAD in Palopo City has tried to implement equitable development by increasing the extensification of regional income, which can be done by managing new sources of revenue and screening new taxpayers/retribution obligors. (2) Regional Original Management in Palopo City which aims to equalize development in Palopo City has been running in accordance with the siyasah syar'iyyah principle although in its realization it is still not fully implemented there are various factors that become obstacles such as lack of public attention about the importance of paying taxes .

Abstract

Gaya mengajar adalah cara atau metode yang dipakai oleh guru ketika sedang melakukan pengajaran. Metode pembelajaran lebih bersifat prosedural, yaitu berisi tahapan tertentu, sedangkan gaya mengajar adalah cara yang digunakan, yang bersifat implementatif. Dengan kata lain, metode yang dipilih oleh masing-masing itu adalah sama, tetapi mereka bisa saja menggunakan teknik yang berbeda. Macam-macam gaya mengajar yang relevan dengan pendidikan agama Islam, yaitu sebagai berikut: 1. Gaya mengajar klasikal, 2. Gaya mengajar teknologis, 3. Gaya mengajar personalisasi, 4. Gaya mengajar interaksional. Hadis-hadis Nabi Muhammad SAW memberikan pedoman penting terkait metode pengajaran yang berfokus pada kasih sayang, kesabaran, dan keteladanan. Gaya mengajar beliau yang menggunakan pendekatan ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, demontrasi dan eksperimen, pemberian tugas (resitasi), dan kerja kelompok dapat diadaptasi dalam konteks pendidikan masa kini. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi prinsip-prinsip yang terkandung dalam hadis mengenai gaya mengajar dan aktualisasinya dalam pendidikan Islam modern, dengan menekankan pada relevansi nilai-nilai Islami dalam proses belajar mengajar saat ini. Selain itu, artikel ini juga membahas tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengimplementasikan gaya mengajar berdasarkan hadis, serta bagaimana mengharmoniskan antara tradisi dan tuntutan zaman modern. Temuan artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun tantangan perubahan sosial dan budaya dalam pendidikan Islam modern cukup signifikan, prinsip-prinsip yang diajarkan oleh Nabi Muhammad SAW tetap sangat relevan untuk diaplikasikan dalam konteks pendidikan kontemporer guna membentuk karakter, keterampilan, dan akhlak peserta didik yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

The Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) has strategic duties and functions as a servant of the people (khādim al-ummah), protector of society (ḥimāyat al-ummah), and partner of the government (ṣadīq al-ḥukūmah) in maintaining order and purity in religious life. These three roles are realized through various concrete steps to respond to the problems of the ummah that arise in society. In Gowa Regency, the emergence of religious issues that are localistic in nature and later identified as deviant teachings is a manifestation of individual religious interpretations that have developed evolutionarily. These deviations are apparent in aspects of belief in God, prophethood, attitudes, and ways of living in groups, giving rise to what can be called “free interpretations” of the authenticity of the Qur'an and Sunnah of the Prophet. Some of the teachings that have developed in this region include the teachings of the Grand Master who calls himself Tarekat Tajul Khalwatiyah Syekh Yusuf, as well as other teachings that are suspected of being deviant, namely the Teachings of Purity, which were identified in February 2023. This study aims to examine the factors causing the emergence of deviant teachings and the strategies of the Gowa Regency MUI in dealing with them. The results of the study show that the main triggers are internal factors, such as superficial faith and weak religious understanding among the community, as well as external factors, such as the doctrine of Sufi masters who build a relationship of worldly and spiritual dependence between master and disciple. The efforts made by the MUI include deepening information, tabayyun, studying indicators of heresy, involving Islamic organizations, coordinating with the government and law enforcement agencies, issuing fatwas, disseminating information, and taking preventive measures through institutional guidance at the sub-district level. These efforts demonstrate the central role of the MUI in maintaining the stability of religious life in Gowa Regency.

Abstract

Property rights violations in conflict zones represent a critical failure of secular legal frameworks, particularly when government institutions collapse or act as perpetrators. This study proposes a novel, synthesized framework for protecting property rights in conflict zones by integrating Kantian political philosophy with Islamic jurisprudence on international relations (Fiqh Siyar). We employ a normative legal method integrated with comparative and critical analysis, proceeding sequentially to develop a philosophical-legal evaluative framework. The Kantian framework, operationalized through commitments to autonomy and dignity, provides specific indicators for protection, such as non-expropriation and effective remedies. In parallel, the analysis draws on core Islamic legal principles, including ḥifẓ al-māl (protection of wealth) and the prohibition of ghasb (unlawful seizure). Data sources are triangulated from international legal instruments, Islamic legal texts, judicial decisions, and reports from reputable organizations. The findings reveal that while Kantian philosophy emphasize institutional roles. Islamic law contributes two critical elements: an eschatological dimension of divine accountability and practical, identity-neutral legal tools for safeguarding non-combatants during systemic collapse. The study implies that effective property rights protection in such crises requires a multi-layered paradigm combining constitutional guarantees with enforceable mechanisms, strengthened by this Kantian-Islamic synthesis. This framework presents a viable alternative for contexts where traditional international law has failed, warranting further exploration for practical implementation and potential adoption by global legal institutions.
