Abstract

The mothers of the Bundo Kanduang MSME community are an association of mothers who have businesses in the Tiban area of ??Batam City, this community was founded in 2019 with the aim of increasing friendship between mothers who have businesses that are run offline or online such as selling through live streaming Facebook or on the buying and selling forum (FJB) Batam City group. During this time the activities carried out are in the form of recitations which are carried out routinely once a month. Based on the results of observations made, several problems were found in the buying and selling process of this community, such as 1) limited number of audiences watching, 2) market limitations, because it is only for Batam city residents, 3) low level of trust from potential buyers, 4) intense competition tightness and delivery, and other issues. Based on the problems above, e-commerce training is provided and how to promote its products so that there is an increase in consumers. The training is given using the guided discovery method, which is a learning method based on the participants' experiences, then the presenters provide a solution, namely using e-commerce, resulting in an account that can be used to sell. After one month of observing the e-commerce that had been made, it was found that there were several products that experienced a significant increase in sales, namely balado chips and parfume.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence has a very broad scope so it can solve very complex problems. Hijaiyah letter pattern recognition using the Bidirectional Associative Memory (BAM) method has the ability to detect maximum results for the blind who are learning to recognize hijaiyah letters in producing information using a bipolar system. The problem in this research is the difficulty for blind people in recognizing hijaiyah letters and patterns, so this research was designed to help blind people learn hijaiyah letters so that they can easily understand the patterns and types of letters using the 3x3 order matrix concept. In the BAM has the advantage of layers that are interconnected between one layer and another layer so that they can be connected from the input layer to the output layer. This research will produce a Hijaiyah letter recognition pattern using the 3x3 Matrix system to design a system for identifying Hijaiyah letter patterns. From the results of the tests that have been carried out, there are 5 Hijaiyah letter patterns, namely ا, ث, ج, ذ and ش which are processed by pattern recognition with a value of 1. [1.1] [1,-13],[-1,1][3,-11 ],[1,-1] [-9,-17],] [-1,1][ [13,9], [-1,1][-13,13]. Of the 5 Hijaiyah letter patterns, only 2 letter patterns were able to be recognized by the system, namely the letters ذ and ش, and 3 patterns were not able to be recognized by the system. Thus it can be concluded that not all patterns using the BAM method are able to recognize patterns precisely and correctly.

Abstract

Pentingnya keterampilan teknologi digital didukung oleh kebijakan pemerintah yang mendorong peningkatan keterampilan digital di kalangan remaja untuk mempersiapkan mereka menghadapi tantangan di dunia kerja dan pendidikan lebih lanjut. Tujuan diadakannya Pelatihan Microsoft Office ini adalah untuk mendukung kebijakan pemerintah dalam meningkatkan keterampilan remaja. Program pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mengajarkan keterampilan praktis dalam menggunakan aplikasi perkantoran Microsoft Office, yaitu Word untuk pengolahan dokumen, Excel untuk pengolahan data angka, dan PowerPoint untuk pembuatan presentasi. Metode pelaksanaan pelatihan ini mencakup kombinasi antara ceramah, sesi tanya jawab, dan praktik mandiri. Peserta yang mengikuti pelatihan memiliki kemampuan yang lebih baik dalam mengolah dokumen dengan Word, mengolah data angka dengan Excel, dan membuat presentasi yang efektif dengan PowerPoint. Dengan keterampilan ini, para remaja dapat menyelesaikan tugas sekolah mereka dengan lebih baik, dan memiliki bekal keterampilan yang berguna untuk dunia kerja di masa depan.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarata adalah salah satu bagian dari Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi dengan adanya pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini turut membantu dalam memberikan solusi terhadap asalah yang ada di tengah masyarakat untuk turut mendukung kesejahteraan dalam IPTEK, Salah satu sasaran pengabdian masyarakat yang akan dilakukan adalah pada komunitas pemuda kampung Bagan Piayu. Kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan di komunitas pemuda kampung bagan piayu adalah pelatihan sablon bagi pemuda atau masyarakat yang bertujuan agar pemuda dan masyarakat piayu agar dapat mengembangkan potensi keterampilan (skill) sebagai modal membuka peluang bisnis serta bisa mengembangkan dan menghasilkan output berupa suatu produk yang kreatif. Metode Pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan sablon akan diawali denga memberikan pengetahuan serta mendemostrasikan tentang cara dan proses menyablon kemudian memberikan pengetahuan terkait strategi dalam proses dan cara menyablon pada media kaos. Pada pelatihan ini peserta memahami strategi dalam memulai bisnis sablon sehingga termotivasi untuk membuka lapangan kerja secara mandiri dalam bisnis percetakan. Kata Kunci: Pelatihan,Sablon,IT ABSTRACT Community service activities are one part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, with the implementation of communityservice helping to provide solutions to problems that exist in society to help support prosperity in science and technology.One of the targets of community service that will be carried out is in the youth community. Bagan Piayu village. The activities carried out in the Bagan Piayu village youth community are screen printing training for youth or the community which aims to enable the Piayu youth and community to develop potential skills as capital to open business opportunities and be able to develop and produce output in the form of a creative product. Method of implementing screen printing training activities will begin by providing knowledge and demonstrating the method and process of screen printing, then providing knowledge regarding strategies in the process and how to screen print on t-shirt media. In this training,participants understand strategies for starting a screen printing business so that they are motivated to create independent employment opportunities in the printing business. Abstract

Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) serve as legal protection for the creative and innovative rights held by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). However, awareness and understanding of the importance of IPR registration remain low among MSMEs, who perceive the process as complex and challenging. The aim of this activity is to provide better understanding to MSMEs in Batam regarding the importance of IPR in safeguarding their products and enhancing their skills in using IPR registration applications provided by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. The community engagement approach is utilized in this research. Socialization on the importance of IPR for MSMEs is conducted, along with direct assistance in the IPR registration process, particularly for product trademarks, through applications provided by the Directorate General of Intellectual Property. This activity demonstrates an improvement in understanding and skills among MSMEs in Batam regarding IPR. Training participants experience enhanced comprehension of IPR registration mechanisms and are able to confidently use relevant applications. Through community engagement, it can be concluded that socialization and direct assistance in IPR registration can help raise awareness and skills among MSMEs in protecting their intellectual property rights. These measures are crucial to ensure adequate protection of innovation and creativity at the MSME level, which in turn can support economic growth and sustainable development.

Abstract

SMAN3 Batam, as one of the well-known high schools in the city of Batam, has difficulty applying physics learning practices, specifically the use of measuring instruments. Where learning is still in theoretical form. Training on the use of The multimeter aims to improve understanding of the basic principles of the use of multimeters in physics practice, including how to measure voltage, current, and resistance correctly in the use of multimeters as electrical measuring instruments in everyday life, as well as strengthen the learning of electrical physics. The research method uses survey and observation methods carried out on students of class XII IPA SMAN3 Batam by providing training on the use of multi tester measuring instruments. To see the progress of practice by giving pretest and posttest questions from the training results The trainees can understand the basic principles of using a multimeter, including how to measure voltage, current, and resistance correctly. In the use of a multimeter, including the right technique for connecting the device to the power source and the object to be measured, and show the seriousness of the students following the training by showing a significant change in the pre-test and post-test scores. Training like this should be done on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

The development of information technology, especially computers, will definitely lead to the development of users, both in terms of technology and devices. As the number of computers increases, job opportunities in the computer field will also become wider. Thus, users need to have the ability to assemble and repair computers. On the occasion of this community service activity, the Faculty of Engineering, Ibnu Sina University invited the people of Tanjung Sengkuang Village, Batu Ampar District, Batam City to provide training and counseling regarding computer repair, both hardware and software. This activity was attended by youth participants from Tanjung Sengkuang Village who are still studying Middle School and High School. The method of implementing this computer repair training activity begins with providing knowledge and demonstrating about installation and maintenance on computers. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi saat ini sangat berpengaruh positif terhadap sektor pariwisata, khususnya di Kota Solok. Pemanfaatan sistem informasi berbasis teknologi dapat mempermudah wisatawan dalam mencari informasi tentang jalur perjalanan, termasuk jarak dan rute yang akan ditempuh. Aplikasi yang dirancang dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan informasi lengkap mengenai pariwisata di Kota Solok, termasuk rute, jarak tempuh, dan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk mencapai tujuan. Dengan menggunakan algoritma ini, solusi optimal dapat ditemukan. Algoritma Best First Search memilih jalur terbaik menuju tujuan dengan cara mengevaluasi setiap node menggunakan fungsi evaluasi yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya. Pada penelitian ini terdapat 10 tempat rekreasi yang akan dikunjungi dengan ketentuan mencari jalur yang terpendek atau yang terkecil tanpa harus membuang waktu agar tidak menempuh jalan yang berulang. Terdapat 45 Kombinasi nilai yang akan dituju. Jarak dan rute masing masing bisa dilihat dari hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini dapat mengemat waktu dan jarak saat melakukan pariwisata di kota Solok. Algoritma BFS dipilih karena kemampuannya dalam mengevaluasi node berdasarkan fungsi heuristik, yang memungkinkan pencarian jalur terbaik secara efisien. Sistem ini dirancang untuk memberikan informasi lengkap tentang lokasi wisata, fasilitas, dan estimasi waktu tempuh antar lokasi. Selain itu, aplikasi ini juga memberikan rekomendasi rute perjalanan yang optimal sesuai dengan preferensi pengguna. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan algoritma BFS dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pencarian rute wisata dan memberikan rekomendasi yang lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna, serta meningkatkan pengalaman wisatawan dalam merencanakan perjalanan.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi di Indonesia telah memberikan kemudahan dalam sektor pemerintahan, termasuk di Kantor Kecamatan Batam Kota. Meskipun beberapa layanan sudah terkomputerisasi, pengelolaan surat menyurat masih dilakukan secara manual melalui Microsoft Office, meninggalkan risiko kehilangan data. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pengarsipan Surat Menyurat di Kantor Kecamatan Batam Kota.Metode pengumpulan data melibatkan studi kepustakaan, observasi, dan wawancara dengan Sekretaris Camat Batam Kota. Pengembangan perangkat lunak menggunakan model waterfall, dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, penulisan kode program, pengujian program, dan penerapan program. Hasil penelitian mencakup fitur-fitur utama seperti manajemen data kelurahan, penduduk, RT/RW, surat dispensasi nikah, surat domisili yayasan, surat keterangan partai, notifikasi, dan laporan. Sistem juga terintegrasi dengan API Whatsapp Cloud untuk pengiriman notifikasi kepada RT/RW yang berulang tahun. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sistem dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan surat menyurat di Kantor Kecamatan. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya melibatkan pengembangan fungsionalitas tambahan, evaluasi kinerja sistem, dan pertimbangan aplikasi mobile untuk akses lebih mudah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran strategis website dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme dan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap layanan ibadah umrah dan haji, dengan fokus pada PT Nettour Batam. Dalam era digital, website menjadi wajah suatu lembaga, terutama dalam sektor perjalanan yang terdampak pandemi. Studi ini mencakup metode pengumpulan data, pengembangan, analisis kebutuhan fungsional, penerapan antarmuka, serta hasil dan pembahasan. Metode pengumpulan data melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur untuk memahami proses penjualan dan kebutuhan web. Pengembangan menggunakan metode Extreme Programming (XP) dengan fokus pada adaptabilitas, kolaborasi tim, dan transparansi. Analisis kebutuhan fungsional mencakup use case diagram, activity diagram, dan sequence diagram. Penerapan antarmuka melibatkan halaman beranda, kategori, tentang, kontak, login admin, dan dashboard admin. Hasil implementasi menggunakan PHP dan MySQL diuji coba di localhost. Simpulan penelitian mencakup keberhasilan implementasi sistem informasi dan keterlibatan bahasa pemrograman serta database.
