Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, environmental and social factors on economic growth with competitiveness as a moderating variable. Using panel data from 29 developing countries during the period 2016–2019, this study developed four panel data regression models and tested the hypotheses with statistical tests. Empirical results show that the influence of the entrepreneurial ecosystem on economic growth is more significant in developed countries than in developing countries. Conversely, the influence of the entrepreneurial ecosystem on competitiveness is higher in developing countries. However, when competitiveness acts as a moderating variable, its contribution to economic growth is greater in developed countries, especially in its role as a moderator. These findings indicate the importance of policies that support entrepreneurship in developing countries, as well as the need for cross-sector collaboration to create an ecosystem that can encourage the emergence of innovative entrepreneurs for inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Senggani (Melastoma malabatrichum L.) is a traditional medicinal plant. The chemical content, including saponins, tannins, flavonoids, quinones, and steroids, in senggani leaves provides antibacterial effects. Ointment preparations are semi-solid preparations that are used for the outside of the body by applying to the outside of the body in the affected area. This study is experimental, aiming to determine the physical characteristics of ointments from the methanol extract of senggani leaves using a variety of ointment bases, namely hydrocarbon ointment base (F1), absoprsi (F2), water-washed (F3), and water-soluble (F4). Evaluation of ointment preparations in each formula includesOrganoleptics, Homogeneity, pH, and Scatter. The results of the study of ointment preparations fromformulas in the form of semi-solid odor typical of seggani and blackish green (F1, F2, F4) and lightgreen (F3). Ointment preparations show homogeneous properties, with pH levels of 4.8 (F4), 5.0 (F3),and 6.1 (F2 and F1). The results showed that ointment preparations of methanol extract of sengganileaves that met the test requirements were only F2 and F3.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze fish consumption trends among Generation Z in Kendari, focusing on the social and economic factors that influence these trends. Generation Z, born between 1997 and 2012, shows diverse consumption preferences. Factors affecting fish consumption patterns in this group include frequency, motivation, preference for fish types, knowledge of fish benefits, as well as social, cultural, and economic influences such as fish prices. The study found that most respondents consume fish at least once a week, with a preference for marine fish over freshwater fish. Health benefits are the primary motivation for fish consumption, although knowledge about the health benefits of fish remains limited. The influence of family, peers, and social media plays a dominant role in shaping fish-eating habits. Additionally, the price of fish is a significant barrier in consumption decisionsamong Gen Z. These findings are expected to contribute to policies aimed at increasing the consumption of nutritious fish among the younger generation.

Abstract

The purpose of the Community Service (CS) activity is to provide information on making fish feed inGampong Teupin Raya, Batee District, Pidie Regency. This activity was carried out in October 2024 inGampong Teupi Raya, Batee District, Pidie Regency. The method in this CS involves providingmaterials, collecting data, and analysing the results of interviews and observations. The results of thepresentation outline the process of making saline tilapia fish feed (Oreochromis niloticus), specificallygrinding, weighing, mixing, stirring, and then moulding. The moulded material is then dried, and thefinal process involves giving it to saline tilapia fish (Oreochromis niloticus) and storing it.

Abstract

The production of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) in rural areas represents an effort to diversify agricultural products, which can improve the welfare of local communities by utilizing coconut as a regional natural resource. VCO offers numerous health benefits, such as boosting the immune system,  lowering cholesterol, and containing high levels of antioxidants. This community service program aims to provide the local population with the knowledge and practical skills on how to produce VCO properly. The methodology includes socialization, technical training, evaluation, and follow-up assistance. The pre- and post-test evaluation results show a significant improvement in participants' knowledge and skills. Approximately 85% of the participants understood the process of making VCO after the training, indicating the program's effectiveness. Furthermore, this initiative has opened new economic opportunities, with several participants beginning to produce and sell VCO independently. The main challenges faced include limited capital and market access. However, with continuous support and assistance from various stakeholders, this program is expected to further develop. The production of VCO presents a promising alternative to increase the income of rural communities and reduce dependence on a single agricultural commodity

Abstract

"King Ice" is a crystal ice production business in Lhokseumawe. This business supplies crystal ice to small and medium-sized businesses in the city. The owner of "King Ice" is still unaware of the benefits and objectives of the halal certification process.  The considers the halal certification process complicated due to the lack of information. This community service activity is a collaboration between lecturers and students from various universities. It consists of preparation and implementation stages to socialize the halal product assurance system. The results of the community service activity demonstrate the interest and willingness of the owner of "King Ice" to participate in the halal certification process to increase consumer trust and product quality.

Abstract

Liquid organic fertilizer offers numerous benefits, including enhancing soil fertility, promoting plant growth, and reducing the need for chemical fertilizers that can have a negative environmental impact. The Community Service Program (PKM) aims to provide information to students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 5 Kota Banda Aceh on the production and use of soursop leaf extract as a liquid organic fertilizer, as well as new knowledge for students on how to utilize natural resources in their surroundings to improve the school's economic environment. Fertilization through leaves has another advantage: nutrients are more quickly absorbed by plants through the stomata of the leaves, resulting in visible new growth, such as new shoots. The students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 5 Banda Aceh were very enthusiastic and interested in processing liquid organic fertilizer with soursop leaf extract, thereby expanding the community's knowledge and increasing the students' understanding of using soursop leaf POC as a material for making natural fertilizer.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbandingan analisis pendapatan dan kelayakan usaha pada beberapa usaha dodol ketan skala rumah tangga di kecamatan Blang Bintang Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari 2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian  ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menganalisis kelayakan usaha dengan menggunakan beberapa parameter diantaranya : analisis pendapatan, R/C Ratio, Return Of Investmeny (ROI) dan Break Even Point (BEP). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian analisis pendapatan keempat usaha dodol ketan A, B, C, dan D layak diusahakan karena memiliki nilai R/C ratio lebih besar dari 1.

Abstract

Lambunot Paya Village is a village that has a lot of land, such as rice fields and gardens, so some of the residents make their living as farmers and some as livestock breeders. The PkM activity carried out in Lambunot Paya Village is the activity of processing chicken meat into tempeh nugget products. The chicken nugget product with the addition of tempeh was chosen as a food diversification product because Lambunot Paya village has excellent potential regarding livestock commodities, one of which is chicken. So far, people have been selling livestock (chickens) in intact condition. This is done to increase the selling value of livestock commodities so that it can improve the economy of village communities. This activity is carried out by providing materials and training to the community regarding techniques for making nuggets with the addition of tempeh, the nutritional content of nuggets, and the safety level of nugget products. The results of the activities carried out were very good, this can be seen from the community's ability to process chicken into nugget products which have high nutritional value with the addition of tempeh. The community hopes that similar training activities can be carried out again periodically with different processed products.

Abstract

Eggs are a type of food from poultry that is most consumed by the Indonesian people. Eggs for consumption are the most common eggs on the market. Egg scanning is a form of processing with a combination of certain herbs and boiling. Pindang eggs are a traditional egg processed product that uses protein tanning ingredients The activity was carried out in Aron village, Aceh Besar with the aim of introducing and socializing the use of tea powder and galangal as auxiliary ingredients that can be used in making pindang eggs. This service activity is carried out in several stages, namely counseling and socialization as well as training and assistance to the village community. The results of this service activity went smoothly and the community really appreciated this activity with a lot of public interest to participate and participate in this service activity. Many people are actively discussing and involved with the service team related to community empowerment through this training so that the community gets information and knowledge about the use of tea powder and galangal.
