Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menghitung perkalian dan pembagian siswa kelas 3 di Sekolah Dasar Babakan Cibatu melalui pendekatan kontekstual. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan dua siklus. Pada siklus I, penelitian menemukan peningkatan kemampuan siswa sebesar 25%. Pada siklus II, peningkatan kemampuan siswa meningkat menjadi 35%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan kontekstual dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menghitung perkalian dan pembagian, serta meningkatkan keaktifan siswa selama pembelajaran. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model pembelajaran Brainstorming dalam meningkatkan hasil menulis siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus dengan empat tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Selajambe sebanyak 28 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode brainstorming mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dapat meningkatkan hasil menulis siswa yang ditandai dengan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa, yaitu pra siklus (64,29%), siklus I (78,57%), siklus II (100%).

Abstract

This study aims to develop STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics)-based learning media with a lesson study approach to improve the quality of learning in Elementary Schools in Cisolok District. The method used in this study is development (Research and Development/R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. In the analysis stage, student needs and STEAM challenges are identified through initial observations and interviews. The media design is prepared based on the results of the analysis, and developed through a prototype that is tested in class. Implementation is carried out in Elementary Schools in Cisolok District, with data collection through observation, questionnaires, and interviews to measure student and teacher responses to the media developed. The collected data are analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively, using descriptive statistics for questionnaires, and qualitative analysis of interviews to understand teacher experiences and challenges in lesson study. Statistical tests are conducted to evaluate changes in student engagement and improvements in teacher competence. The results of the study indicate that the developed STEAM-based learning media can increase student engagement in the learning process. In addition, teacher collaboration in lesson study has proven effective in improving teacher professional competence, especially in designing and implementing innovative learning media. This study contributes to the development of learning media that are more relevant to students' needs and provides solutions to challenges in STEAM-based learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Permasalahan penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya guru yang belum optimal dalam keterampilan bertanya. Akibat belum seutuhnya guru memahami dari komponen keterampilan bertanya, pembelajaran berlangsung masih didominasi oleh guru yang mengakibatkan siswa tidak aktif, oleh karena itu, guru harus memicu siswa dengan keterampilan bertanya agar pembelajaran di dalam kelas lebih optimal. Kurikulum Merdeka penyempurna kurikulum sebelumnya yang memberi warna baru dengan muncul mata pelajaran IPAS, pembelajaran IPAS memang dibutuhkan siswa di zaman sekarang, supaya senantiasa terbiasa dalam menyeimbangkan antara kegiatan menjaga dan memelihara alam. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan keterampilan bertanya pada pembelajaran IPAS kelas IV di SD Negeri 1 Parakansalak. Metode yang digunakan pendekatan kualitatif model deskriptif metode studi kasus dengan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian guru kelas IV A. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data berupa data model interaktif Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan guru sudah menerapkan keterampilan bertanya dasar dengan baik yaitu menerapkan semua indikator dan untuk keterampilan bertanya lanjut sudah diterapkan namun untuk indikator pertanyaan pelacak sedikit muncul karena guru menyesuaikan dengan materi yang ada di buku dan indikator peningkatan terjadinya interaksi juga sedikit muncul karena ketika guru mendorong siswa untuk bertanya sedangkan siswa enggan bertanya, yang menjadikan salah satu kendala pada pembelajaran IPAS berlangsung, sebab siswa malu dan kurang percaya diri dalam mengajukan pertanyaan ataupun menjawab pertanyaan yang diajukan guru. Saran bagi guru harus selalu melakukan evaluasi diri agar kekurang pada pembelajaran sebelumnya dapat tercapai pada pembelajaran selanjutnya.

Abstract

This study aims to review the learning outcomes of students by applying the Snowball Throwing Learning Model in the subject of Social Sciences for grade III Elementary Schools. The research method is using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, based on the theory of constructivism. The sample of this study was all grade III students, data collection was carried out through interviews with teachers, observations, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Snowball Throwing learning model is effective in improving student learning, where this model can improve students' thinking power, collaboration, and activeness during the learning process. From the results of interviews and observations, students have difficulty in understanding the subject of Social Sciences so that most students get scores below the KKM. The influence of this study is expected to create a perspective on the importance of learning models.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) through the application of problem-based learning (PBL) models at SD Perintis B. The method used is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Data were collected through pre-test, post-test, observation of student activities, and motivation questionnaires. The results of the study showed that the application of PBL can improve student learning outcomes, with the average post-test score increasing significantly compared to the pre-test. In addition, student involvement in the learning process also increased, with 80% of students actively participating in group discussions. This study provides empirical evidence that the problem-based learning model is effective in improving students' understanding of the IPAS material and can be used as an alternative to a more interactive teaching method. These findings are expected to provide a positive contribution to the development of learning methods in elementary schools.

Abstract

Mathematics is frequently perceived as an abstract discipline, disconnected from everyday life, thus necessitating the implementation of contextual learning approaches. Ethnomathematics is one such approach that connects mathematical concepts with local culture. This study aims to explore the ethnomathematical values found in bamboo weaving crafts in Sukabumi Regency and their relevance to geometry learning in schools. This study employed a qualitative approach through ethnographic methods. Data were collected through literature studies, observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving traditional bamboo weaving artisans. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, focusing on artisans who are actively involved and understand the traditional weaving process. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify geometric patterns found in the woven motifs. The findings reveal the presence of various geometric forms such as cuboids, triangles, squares, and symmetrical patterns within the bamboo weaving crafts. These findings indicate that traditional crafts can serve as contextual learning media that strengthen students' understanding of geometric concepts while also instilling local cultural values. The implications of this study suggest that the exploration of ethnomathematics in bamboo weaving crafts can serve as a foundation for developing contextual and culturally based geometry learning materials and modules. Furthermore, integrating local culture into learning is believed to enhance student engagement and enrich more meaningful learning experiences.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar geometri peserta didik kelas V SDN 4 Cisande disebabkan oleh pendekatan pembelajaran yang masih bersifat abstrak serta minimnya media konkret yang kontekstual. Kesenjangan antara konsep matematika dengan pengalaman nyata membuat peserta didik kesulitan memahami materi seperti keliling, luas, dan simetri bangun datar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika menggunakan media anyaman bambu sebagai upaya peningkatan hasil belajar geometri bangun datar dan menganalisis pengaruhnya terhadap pemahaman peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart, dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V SDN 4 Cisande sebanyak 32 orang yang mengikuti seluruh tahapan mulai dari pra-siklus hingga siklus II. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes uraian, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melihat perubahan skor rata-rata, persentase ketuntasan klasikal, dan distribusi kategori capaian belajar. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan skor rata-rata dari 22,50 menjadi 70,63, dan ketuntasan klasikal meningkat dari 0% menjadi 75%. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika dengan media anyaman bambu tidak hanya memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep secara lebih konkret, tetapi juga memberikan dampak nyata terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar geometri bangun datar peserta didik secara signifikan, baik dari segi capaian individu maupun ketuntasan klasikal yang sebelumnya sangat rendah menjadi memenuhi kriteria keberhasilan.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance the mathematics learning motivation of elementary school students through the implementation of the Make a Match learning model. The research background is based on the low motivation of students in participating in mathematics lessons, which impacts the lack of engagement and suboptimal learning outcomes. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles conducted in grade IV of SDN Bojongkawung, Sukabumi Regency, in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research subjects consisted of 18 students, and data were collected through observation, interviews, and attitude assessment instruments that included indicators of cooperation, responsibility, critical reasoning, and creativity. The research results indicate a significant increase in students' learning motivation, marked by an increase in the average attitude score from 40% in the pre-test to 55% in cycle I, and 74.25% in cycle II. The application of the Make a Match model creates a fun, interactive, and collaborative learning atmosphere, thereby encouraging students to be more active and enthusiastic in mathematics learning. Thus, the Make a Match model proves to be effective as a learning strategy that can enhance the learning motivation of elementary school students. This study contributes to the development of learning strategies that can enhance students' mathematics learning motivation through the implementation of an interactive and collaborative learning model.
