Abstract

Penelitian ini menyelidiki peran Good Corporate Governance (GCG) dalam memastikan keberlanjutan PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk. Latar belakang penelitian ini berasal dari tuntutan yang meningkat untuk transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan keberlanjutan di tengah kompleksitas operasional perusahaan besar di industri pangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan antara penerapan prinsip GCG dalam mendukung keberlanjutan perusahaan secara formal dan pelaksanaannya secara praktis. Fokus penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan GCG di PT Indofood dan sejauh mana implementasi ini mendukung keberlanjutan bisnis. Penelitian baru ini berfokus pada analisis GCG secara menyeluruh dalam konteks keberlanjutan perusahaan FMCG berskala besar yang masih relatif terbatas. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui penelitian literatur ilmiah, laporan keberlanjutan, dan laporan tahunan perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Indofood telah menerapkan GCG secara struktural dan mendukung legitimasi dan keberlanjutan jangka panjang, meskipun implementasi substansial masih terhambat. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa memperkuat integrasi GCG dan strategi keberlanjutan akan sangat penting untuk menciptakan nilai jangka panjang perusahaan.

Abstract

Dua indikator makroekonomi penting dari kinerja dan stabilitas ekonomi suatu negara adalah inflasi dan kemiskinan. Kurva Phillips, yang menunjukkan trade-off jangka pendek antara pengangguran dan inflasi, secara teoritis menjelaskan hubungan antara kedua variabel ini. Namun, hubungan ini tidak selalu mengikuti teori konvensional dalam praktiknya, terutama di negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan teori makroekonomi lebih khusus lagi, Kurva Phillips dan gagasan trade-off inflasi pengangguran studi ini berupaya untuk secara konseptual mengeksplorasi hubungan antara inflasi dan pengangguran di Indonesia. Berbagai buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan penelitian sebelumnya yang relevan ditinjau sebagai bagian dari metodologi penelitian pustaka. Temuan studi menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara kemiskinan dan inflasi di Indonesia bersifat dinamis dan kompleks, dipengaruhi oleh guncangan eksogen seperti wabah Covid-19, inisiatif pemerintah, faktor struktural, dan kondisi ekonomi dunia. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa trade-off inflasi-pengangguran di Indonesia bersifat sementara dan membutuhkan strategi ekonomi jangka panjang yang komprehensif.

Abstract

Good Corporate Governance (GCG) merupakan prinsip fundamental dalam pengelolaan lembaga publik dan keuangan syariah guna mewujudkan transparansi, akuntabilitas, serta kepercayaan masyarakat (OECD, 2015). BAZNAS Kota Medan sebagai lembaga resmi pengelola zakat memiliki tanggung jawab strategis dalam menghimpun, mengelola, dan mendistribusikan dana zakat, infak, dan sedekah (ZIS) secara amanah dan profesional sesuai dengan prinsip tata kelola yang baik (Ascarya, 2016). Implementasi prinsip GCG di BAZNAS Kota Medan tercermin dalam pelaksanaan lima program utama, yaitu Medan Peduli, Medan Sehat, Medan Cerdas, Medan Makmur, dan Medan Taqwa. Program Medan Peduli menunjukkan penerapan prinsip responsibility dan fairness melalui penyaluran bantuan sosial dan kemanusiaan yang berorientasi pada keadilan dan kepentingan mustahik (Mardiasmo, 2018). Program Medan Sehat merefleksikan prinsip accountability dengan adanya pertanggungjawaban penggunaan dana kesehatan kepada muzakki dan masyarakat secara terbuka (Halim, 2014). Prinsip transparency tampak dalam program Medan Cerdas melalui mekanisme seleksi penerima manfaat yang objektif, terbuka, dan berbasis data guna meningkatkan kepercayaan publik (Kurnia & Hidayat, 2020). Selanjutnya, program Medan Makmur mencerminkan prinsip independency dan sustainability melalui pemberdayaan ekonomi mustahik berbasis kemandirian usaha dan pengurangan ketergantungan terhadap bantuan zakat (Beik & Arsyianti, 2016). Sementara itu, program Medan Taqwa memperkuat aspek integritas dan etika sebagai fondasi moral dalam tata kelola zakat yang selaras dengan nilai-nilai Islam (Qardhawi, 2011). Secara keseluruhan, penerapan prinsip Good Corporate Governance dalam pengelolaan program zakat di BAZNAS Kota Medan menunjukkan upaya sistematis dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan zakat, memperkuat akuntabilitas lembaga, serta mendorong terwujudnya kesejahteraan masyarakat secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed the capital market industry in Indonesia. Digitalization has enabled easier access to investment services through online trading platforms, mobile applications, and real-time information systems. As one of the non-bank financial institutions, the capital market plays a crucial role in facilitating the flow of funds from investors to companies in need of capital. This article aims to analyze the development of the Indonesian capital market in the digital era, including the opportunities, benefits, and challenges arising from technological innovation. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature review from academic journals, official reports, and relevant regulations. The findings indicate that digital transformation has increased investor participation, particularly among younger generations, improved transaction efficiency, and enhanced market transparency. However, challenges such as cybersecurity risks, low financial literacy, and the spread of misleading information remain significant concerns. Therefore, collaboration among regulators, market institutions, and investors is essential to ensure sustainable growth and maintain public confidence in the capital market. The digital era presents substantial opportunities for the Indonesian capital market to become more inclusive, efficient, and competitive in supporting national economic development.

Abstract

The development of Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia has shown significant growth in recent years. This growth is marked by the increasing number of Islamic financial institutions, the variety of products and services offered, and the growing public interest in financial systems based on Islamic principles. On the other hand, the advancement of digital technology has brought major changes to the financial sector, including Islamic financial institutions. This study aims to analyze the development of Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia and identify the various challenges they face in the digital era. The method used in this study is a literature review by examining various relevant journals, books, and scientific sources. The results indicate that digitalization provides opportunities for Islamic financial institutions to improve service quality, expand market reach, and enhance operational efficiency. However, several challenges remain, including the low level of public literacy regarding Islamic finance, competition with conventional financial institutions, data security and digital transaction risks, and the need for competent human resources in both technology and Islamic finance.

Abstract

This abstract discusses the role of the Medan City Government in developing the people's economy through public policy and community empowerment. The background of this study is based on the importance of strengthening the community-based economy as the main strategy in facing global economic challenges and improving citizen welfare. The study aims to analyze how public policies implemented and community empowerment efforts by the city government are able to encourage the growth of the people's economy in Medan. The method used is qualitative with a literature review approach, namely examining various sources of literature such as journals, books, and relevant policy documents. The research findings show that the Medan City Government has initiated various empowerment programs, such as entrepreneurship training, facilitating access to capital, and strengthening local economic institutions. However, there are challenges in terms of cross-sector coordination and limited resources. The implications of this study emphasize the need for synergy between the government, society, and the private sector to create an inclusive and sustainable people's economy ecosystem, as well as the importance of continuous evaluation and policy innovation to strengthen community empowerment at the local level.

Abstract

Employing a qualitative literature review methodology, this study examines how public infrastructure in Deli Serdang Regency contributes to economic growth. The local government in Deli Serdang has continually pledged to improve the quality of infrastructure to ease the transportation sector and support regional economic growth, which is the basis for this study's background. Reliable infrastructure development is important for economic activities and the business world in Deli Serdang. The research aims to use secondary data and literature studies to determine the extent to which public infrastructure boosts regional economies. In order to provide a comprehensive and contextual description of the phenomena, the researchers first conduct a literature review, which entails gathering and evaluating data from a variety of sources including books, journals, government papers, and related documents. The research findings highlight the importance of public facilities, such as roads and drainage systems, in enhancing connectivity, making it easier to distribute goods and services, and providing support to the processing industry and trade sectors. These sectors are the main engines of economic growth in Deli Serdang. Building regional economic competitiveness and enhancing community welfare sustainably hinges on the continuity and upkeep of public infrastructure, according to this study's findings.

Abstract

This study examines the ways in which digitalization has contributed to the increased competitiveness of MSMEs in Medan City, in light of legislative measures imposed by the Medan City Government. Based on the facts that micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) have been forced to undertake digital changes due to the pandemic, this study examines the importance in digitalization as a strategy for MSMEs in this era of the digital economy. Small, medium, and micro-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Medan City may benefit from the city government's digitization initiatives, which is why this study seeks to investigate them. The method used is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR), which involves looking at academic articles and secondary materials about the digitalization of MSMEs in Medan City. The research found that digitization has various benefits for MSMEs, such as increasing their competitiveness, streamlining their operations, and accessing new markets. Mentorship applications, training, and the incorporation of micro, small, and medium companies (MSMEs) in online platforms or local e-Catalogs are examples of digitalization-supportive policies implemented by the Medan City Government that have been essential in achieving success. The results of this research highlight the importance of partnerships between government departments, MSMEs, and other stakeholders in improving MSMEs' digital skills so that they can compete globally.

Abstract

Using a literature review approach, this research looks at how the public views the accountability and openness of the Medan City Government's budget. The foundation of this research is the idea that openness and responsibility are cornerstones of effective leadership that may boost confidence in government. Finding out how people feel about government transparency and accountability in handling regional budgets is the main goal of the research. An analysis of pertinent literature, documents, and prior research is carried out as part of the methodology, which is known as a literature review. According to the study's results, budget transparency is crucial for establishing public confidence and engagement since it shows how openly the government provides information and the accountability systems are operating. The study's findings highlight the need of holding governments more responsible and transparent in order to foster more responsive and accountable leadership and, by extension, to increase public engagement in tracking how regional funds are being used.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of government spending on economic inequality in Indonesia. Government spending plays an important role in social and economic development, through allocations to the education, health, and infrastructure sectors. Although this spending can make a positive contribution to reducing inequality through income redistribution and equitable development, negative impacts can also occur if spending is not on target, accompanied by corrupt practices or regressive fiscal policies. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study describes how the characteristics and effectiveness of government spending affect the inequality of economic distribution and public welfare. The findings of this study indicate the importance of budget policy reform to be more inclusive, on target, and transparent in order to create equitable development.
