Abstract

Pangkalpinang is one of the areas in the Bangka Belitung Islands which has 24,512 Small and Medium Business in June 2022 and continues to grow every year. It is important for Small and Medium Business to improve the culinary sector's competitive strategy in Pangkalpinang, taking into strategic resources and environmental uncertainties that may affect business. Competitive strategy is useful in determining the sustainability of Small and Medium Business in Pangkalpinang. This includes 1) Strategic resources, a) Human resources (HR), b) Raw materials and suppliers, c) Strategic locations, d) Technology and infrastructure. 2) Environmental uncertainty, a) Consumption trends, b) Competition, c) Regulation, d) Economics and costs. The specific objective of this research is how Small and Medium Business of culinary in the city of Pangkalpinang can overcome obstacles to develop their business and develop competitive strategies. The research method that researchers use is a quantitative method by collecting and analyzing data in the form of statistics to answer the questions that researchers formulated and to test hypotheses. We collect data by sharing Google forms to owner of the Small and Medium Business in several areas of Pangkalpinang City. In this study, the results showed that there was no influence between strategic resources and environmental uncertainty on efforts to improve the competitive strategy of Small and Medium Business in the Pangkalpinang culinary sector. The implication of this research for the future is that further studies of the same kind can be carried out but in different locations to see whether the results of this study will give the same results elsewhere.

Abstract

Vision and mission are statements that describe the goals and directions to be achieved by the school. The vision articulates the school's long-term goals, while the mission defines how the school will achieve this vision. These two elements are important in school development because they provide guidance, purpose, and focus for the entire school community. This study aims to investigate the influence and role of vision and mission in SD Negeri 2 Pulau Besar in achieving educational goals. Through qualitative research methods, including interviews, observation, and document analysis, this study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of how the vision and mission affect the school. In the context of SD Negeri 2 Pulau Besar, the school's vision and mission will play the role of accelerator and mover. An effective vision and mission can motivate and inspire the entire school community, including students, teachers and staff, to work towards the same goals. A clear and strong vision provides a view of what the school wants to achieve, while the mission sets out concrete strategies and steps to achieve this vision. Through this research, it is hoped that there will be a positive influence from the vision and mission of SD Negeri 2 Pulau Besar on the achievement of educational goals. This will provide important insights for education stakeholders, including teachers, principals and policy makers, in designing and implementing an effective vision and mission in schools. With a deep understanding of the impact of vision and mission, stakeholders can work together to create a learning environment that is motivating, focused and oriented towards achieving the desired educational goals. This research is also expected to contribute to further educational research on the role of vision and mission in the context of basic education. With a better understanding of the impact and function of vision and mission, other schools can adopt best practices that have proven effective and improve their efforts in achieving the educational goals set.

Abstract

Blue Ocean Strategy offers a transformational opportunity for the tourism industry to escape fierce competition and explore new, unexplored markets. The research method used is a qualitative method based on literature studies from previous research, by evaluating and analyzing relevant scientific journals. To implement Blue Ocean Strategy effectively, there are several tools and frameworks that can be used, such as the Blue Ocean Strategy Canvas and the ECRR Blue Ocean Strategy concept. In order to create opportunities for the tourism industry without competition, a situation analysis was carried out using SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) to understand the current position of Bangka Belitung. Natural beauty is one of the strengths that can be developed in developing tourism in Bangka Belitung. Apart from that, it is also necessary to identify new market opportunities such as ecotourism, local culture or unique adventures. Through the application of the Blue Ocean Strategy and its principles, the Bangka Belitung tourism industry has the potential to create a unique and unexplored new market.

Abstract

Dalam lingkungan bisnis semakin ketat, analisis SWOT terbukti berfungsi sebagai alat strategi yang efektif bagi organisasi yang ingin meningkatkan daya saing. Studi ini melihat analisis bagaimana SWOT berfungsi untuk menentukan komponen internal (seperti kekuatan dan kelemahan) dan eksternal (seperti peluang dan ancaman) yang berpotensi mempengaruhi keberhasilan suatu perusahaan. Hasil analisis tersebut, perusahaan dapat mengembangkan strategi yang memanfaatkan sumber daya dan waktu (SO), memanfaatkan waktu untuk memitigasi kelemahan (WO), memanfaatkan sumber daya untuk mencegah ancaman (ST), atau mengembangkan strategi yang tepat, misalnya untuk memitigasi kelemahan dan ancaman (WT). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bisnis dapat menggunakan analisis SWOT untuk mengidentifikasi indikator kinerja utama secara sistematis, serta menyusun strategi yang selaras dengan kondisi lingkungan bisnis untuk meningkatkan daya saing secara berkelanjutan. Meskipun demikian, itu harus dipahami bahwa analisis SWOT hanyalah salah satu aspek dari proses perencanaan strategi yang lebih besar, sehingga integrasi dengan metode analisis lainnya dapat memberikan hasil yang lebih holistik dan mendalam.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation process of strategic management in improving the quality of higher education at the Faculty of Economics, University of Bangka Belitung. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach. The population of this study were all students of the Faculty of Economics, Siliwangi University. The sample taken was 35 student representatives consisting of Management, Accounting, Economics, and Digital Business majors. Data collection was carried out by conducting observations and distributing questionnaires distributed using Google Form. The data collected is then processed by analysis. Based on the analysis and discussion that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the implementation of strategic management plays an important role in improving the quality of higher education at the Faculty of Economics, University of Bangka Belitung. The provision of facilities that support the administration and learning process, satisfying services, active participation of teaching staff and students, effective performance evaluation and control, and collaboration of all components are key factors in the implementation of strategic management.

Abstract

Competitive advantage dan citra merek menjadi sangat penting untuk sebuah perusahaan agar produknya dapat menarik minat pembeli. Konsumen yang semakin kritis ketika memilih suatu produk, mendorong perusahaan untuk meningkatkan mutu produk agar dapat bersaing dan menghindari ketidakpuasan pelanggan serta dapat bersaing secara sehat dalam pasarnya dengan perusahaan lain yang sejenis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi competitive advantage dan citra merek perusahaan smartphone Oppo terhadap minat beli mahasiswa di Universitas Bangka Belitung. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, menggunakan riset, pengumpulan data, observasi dan wawancara. Dari hasil penelitian yang didapat, strategi competitive advantage dan citra merek sangat berpengaruh terhadap minat beli Mahasiswa di Universitas Bangka Belitung terhadap Smartphone Oppo.

Abstract

Kantin merupakan fasilitas penting dalam lingkungan pendidikan tinggi, khususnya di Universitas Bangka Belitung. Keberadaannya tidak hanya sebagai tempat penyedia makanan dan minuman, tetapi juga berperan dalam menciptakan lingkungan kampus yang nyaman dan kondusif. Meskipun demikian, pengelolaan kantin seringkali menghadapi tantangan seperti ketersediaan menu terbatas, kebersihan lingkungan yang kurang terjaga, dan layanan yang tidak memuaskan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implikasi pengembangan dan strategi pengelolaan kantin di Universitas Bangka Belitung dengan fokus pada analisis preferensi dan persepsi civitas akademika, evaluasi fasilitas kantin yang sudah ada, serta pembangunan strategi pengelolaan yang efektif. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan kantin dan menciptakan lingkungan kampus yang lebih kondusif.

Abstract

The Bangka Belitung Islands are known to be rich in tin resources so it cannot be denied that most of the people make their living from tin but are now shackled by the 271T corruption case. This study aims to evaluate how big the impact of entrepreneurship is on Bangka Island, especially Central Bangka Regency, after the rise in tin corruption cases which disrupted people's work, apart from that local fishermen were also affected by the existence of sea mines. Entrepreneurship plays an important role in building local economies and guiding a competitive future. This research aims to analyze how the Timah 271T Bangka Belitung corporation can increase its competitive capabilities through entrepreneurship that is oriented towards developing local resources and increasing community participation in the economic development process. This research applies a quantitative approach in its methodology and utilizes a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The population studied was MSME entrepreneurs in Central Bangka Regency, with a total of 39 respondents. The multiple regression analysis used, namely SPSS version 27 software, was used as a data analysis method. The test results show that the coefficient of determination is 0.288, which means that around 28.8% of the variation in the dependent variable can be seen in the independent variables studied. This value shows that the Local Economy and Competitiveness variables influence Entrepreneurship in MSMEs in Central Bangka by 28.8%. The t test results show that Local Economy (X1) has no influence on Entrepreneurship, while Competitiveness (X2) has a significant influence on MSME entrepreneurship in Central Bangka. The results of this research will contribute to the development of effective entrepreneurial strategies to increase the competitiveness of MSME entrepreneurs in Central Bangka and encourage local economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of competitive advantage on the sales performance of PT Abdillah Sukses Bersama. The purpose of this study is to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of PT Abdillah Konveksi. In addition, this study discusses the various strategies used by Abdillah Konveksi to improve their sales performance. In this study, the author collected data through interviews and observations. The results showed that Abdillah Konveksi is in a fairly good condition compared to its competitors' convection positions, each of which has its own characteristics and advantages. Abdillah Konveksi is also able to take advantage of opportunities from the problems that exist in the Bangka Belitung Islands. One of the famous convections in Bangka Belitung, PT Abdillah Sukses Bersama, emerged as a result of the most appropriate initial strategy, which focuses on promotional strategies to publicize and build the brand. This research uses a qualitative approach with SWOT analysis, and data collection is conducted through interviews with the company's manager and direct observation. The results are then analyzed using SWOT analysis to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the marketing strategies faced by the UMKM Juragan Pisang 99.
