Abstract

The purpose of this PKM is to increase the interest of SMA 4 teachers in Gowa Regency in developing canva-based learning media and improving skills in developing learning media. The methods carried out in this activity consist of: (a) Training, which is an interactive activity with SMA 4 teachers in Gowa Regency to provide theoretical explanations about learning media, and (b) Practice, giving tasks to teachers to create learning animation video media using the Canva application then asking the trainees to collect media assignments to be given assessments and inputs. The results of the service activity of making learning animation videos using the Canva application for SMA 4 teachers in Gowa Regency were attended by 32 participants consisting of teachers and education staff at SMA Negeri 4 Gowa which is located at Jl. Pendidikan, Malino, Kec. It can be concluded that the service activities have an impact on the participants by increasing the interest of teachers in developing canva-based learning media and improving their skills in developing canva-based learning media.

Abstract

The Effect of Capital Structure Determinants on Stock Performance in Manufacturing Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, asset structure, and company size on stock performance in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method, multiple linear analysis, t test, F test, and classical assumption test with the help of the Social Sciences Statistics Program (SPPS version 21.00). The results showed that the profitability variable had no significant positive effect on stock performance, asset structure had a significant negative effect on stock performance, and company size partially had a significant positive effect on stock performance. Simultaneously the independent variables (profitability, asset structure, and firm size) have a significant and significant effect on the dependent variable (stock performance).

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui penyuluhan pertanian berbasis agribisnis di Desa Cenrana telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap kesejahteraan petani dan perkembangan sektor pertanian. Program ini memberdayakan petani dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan baru dalam praktik pertanian agribisnis, memungkinkan mereka mengadopsi teknologi pertanian yang lebih efisien, diversifikasi produk, dan strategi pemasaran yang tepat sasaran. Partisipasi aktif masyarakat menciptakan kolaborasi yang kuat antara petani, penyedia layanan atau pengabdi dan pihak terkait, sehingga memungkinkan solusi lokal dapat diterapkan, mengingat beragamnya tantangan yang dihadapi masing-masing petani. Peningkatan akses pasar dan kesadaran akan pentingnya lingkungan telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap perekonomian, memungkinkan petani untuk menjual produk mereka dengan harga yang lebih baik dan mencapai pendapatan yang lebih stabil. Meski telah mencapai hasil yang nyata, masih terdapat tantangan yang perlu diatasi, antara lain melanjutkan pendidikan, pendampingan, dan penguatan infrastruktur. Dengan tekad dan kerjasama yang terus menerus, program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dapat terus menjadi penggerak utama dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani dan membangun gairah terhadap sektor pertanian di Desa Cenrana. Dedikasi ini juga dapat memberikan inspirasi bagi daerah lain untuk melakukan pendekatan serupa dalam mengembangkan pertanian berbasis agribisnis.

Abstract

This community engagement project aimed to design and develop a podcast-based instructional medium entitled English PodClass to enhance senior high school students’ speaking and listening competencies in the English language subject. The implementation comprised three major phases: design, production, and dissemination. The design phase involved instructional design activities, including the development of podcast concepts and learning content aligned with the needs of twelfth-grade students at SMA Negeri 8 Makassar, focusing on Hortatory Exposition Text and Discussion Text materials with contextual themes such as Netiquette, Media Literacy, and Climate Change. The production phase encompassed audio recording and post-production processes utilizing Audacity and Adobe Audition software. The final product consisted of three podcast episodes, each lasting 10–15 minutes, organized into introductory, main discussion, and closing segments. The dissemination phase was conducted through digital learning platforms such as YouTube and Google, complemented by online outreach strategies. The project resulted in an educational podcast serving as an innovative, flexible, and engaging instructional medium for English language learning.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan kecerdasan buatan (AI) telah memunculkan tantangan etis baru dalam lingkungan akademik, khususnya di kalangan mahasiswa Teknologi Pendidikan yang cenderung memanfaatkan AI tanpa mempertimbangkan aspek keaslian dan tanggung jawab ilmiah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan kemampuan etis mahasiswa dalam menggunakan AI secara bijak melalui pelatihan bertema “Bijak dan Cerdas Menggunakan AI.” Pelatihan dilaksanakan secara luring dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan reflektif, melibatkan 111 mahasiswa sebagai peserta. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup ceramah interaktif, diskusi, praktik terbimbing, serta refleksi etis terhadap penggunaan AI dalam pembelajaran. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan pelatihan yang tinggi, dengan rata-rata capaian peserta sebesar 86%, di mana indikator tertinggi adalah pemahaman etika digital (100%) dan kesadaran terhadap keaslian karya akademik (95%). Sementara itu, aspek pemahaman risiko penyalahgunaan AI (65%) dan perumusan panduan etika pribadi (70%) masih memerlukan penguatan lanjutan. Kegiatan ini berimplikasi pada perlunya pengembangan kurikulum literasi AI yang menyeimbangkan keterampilan teknis dengan nilai etika dan pedagogis, guna membentuk ekosistem akademik yang berintegritas, reflektif, dan humanistik di era kecerdasan buatan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of AI-based chatbot utilization on students’ self-directed learning. The background of this research arises from the increasing adoption of Artificial Intelligence in higher education, particularly chatbots such as ChatGPT, which provide real-time explanations, instant feedback, and personalized learning support. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed. The sample consisted of 50 students selected through purposive sampling, and data were collected using an online questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality tests, Pearson correlation, and simple linear regression. The results indicate that both the level of AI chatbot utilization and students’ self-directed learning fall into the moderate category. Pearson correlation analysis shows a very strong and significant relationship between AI chatbot use and self-directed learning (r = 0.836; p < 0.01). Simple linear regression further confirms that AI chatbot utilization has a positive and significant effect on self-directed learning (B = 0.718; p = 0.000). These findings suggest that AI-based chatbots play an important role as learning tools that enhance students’ ability to learn independently. The study recommends strengthening AI literacy, providing ethical use guidelines, and integrating chatbots into the digital learning ecosystem in higher education.

Abstract

This study investigates how university students utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learning from a digital literacy perspective. Conducted between February–April 2024, the research involved nine undergraduate students from Universitas Ichsan Sidenreng Rappang who actively used AI tools such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, and Duolingo in their daily learning practices. Using a qualitative thematic analysis, the study explored students’ experiences, challenges, and expectations regarding AI-supported EFL learning. Findings show that AI contributed substantially to improving students’ vocabulary, grammar accuracy, and speaking fluency, with several participants reporting that AI-based feedback helped them understand errors more quickly and increased their learning motivation—some estimating up to a 20–30% improvement in confidence and task completion efficiency. However, issues such as inconsistent responses, fabricated references, and overreliance on AI revealed gaps in students’ critical digital literacy. The study highlights the need for strengthened digital literacy training and more structured integration of AI tools in higher education to ensure ethical, accurate, and effective use of AI for language learning.
