Abstract

Stress is a pattern of reaction and general adaptation, in the sense that the pattern of reaction to a stressor, which can come from within or outside the individual concerned, can be real or not real in nature. This study aims to determine the level of stress experienced by students of the Faculty of Medicine, Yarsi University class of 2016 and its relation to the results of the clerk's office. The research design used was cross sectional. Student stress levels were measured using the Perceived Stress Scale questionnaire. Data on clinical clerkship results were obtained from exam results. The results of the study were obtained from 85 students, 47.1% of Yarsi University Faculty of Medicine students class of 2016 experienced mild stress levels, 31.8% experienced moderate stress levels, and 21.2% experienced severe stress levels. This means that the stress level of Yarsi University Medical Faculty students is in the mild to moderate criteria. The results showed that the level of mild stress was higher in the number of students who got an A clerkship score, namely 3 out of 40 people (3.54) and 37 people (43.53%) got an A- clerkship score. Furthermore, students with high levels of stress got more AB scores, namely 12 students out of 18 students (14.12%). In this study, it was found that there was a relationship between stress levels and the results of clinical clerkship scores (p value 0.05).

Abstract

Sleep is one of the basic human needs, meaning that humans naturally need sleep as a daily necessity. Sleep quality is influenced by many things, one of which is physical activity. The Covid-19 pandemic has made students spend a lot of time at home which allows them not to do physical activity. This study aims to determine the relationship between physical activity and sleep quality of students at the medical faculty of YARSI University. This research is a correlational study with a cross sectional design. The population of this study were YARSI University medical faculty students class of 2020. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The total sample is 142 students. Physical activity instruments using the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire and the Pittsburgh Quality Sleep Index as sleep quality instruments. Data analysis using Chi Square with a confidence level of 95%. The results of the chi square analysis obtained a value (p) = 0.013 and Odd Ratio (OR) = 3.097. These results indicate that there is a significant relationship (p0.05) between physical activity and sleep quality. Subjects who are active in physical activity have the opportunity to get good quality sleep 3,097 times higher than subjects who are not active.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Berdasarkan syariat islam, status kehalalan suatu makanan menjadi syarat bagi umat muslim dalam mengambil keputusan untuk mengonsumsi suatu makanan. Banyak masyarakat terutama umat muslim resah terhadap pencampuran bahan non-halal seperti pencampuran daging babi ke dalam produk daging olahan, padahal di Indonesia produk daging olahan seperti bakso, sosis, nugget, dan kornet termasuk salah satu produk makanan yang banyak dikonsumsi. Belum ada informasi tentang analisis cemaran DNA babi pada produk daging olahan terutama produk bakso di pasar-pasar Kelurahan Cempaka Putih. Maka dari itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah menganalisa keberadaan cemaran DNA babi pada produk daging olahan berupa produk bakso di pasar-pasar Kelurahan Cempaka Putih serta tinjauannya menurut islam. Metode: Metode analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) dengan menggunakan QIAGEN Mericon Pig Kit. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh sampel produk bakso (5 sampel uji) tidak mengandung DNA babi. Kesimpulan: Mayoritas ulama sepakat bahwa memanfaatkan babi dan seluruh unsur-unsur babi adalah haram, dengan tidak adanya sampel yang tercemar DNA babi maka produk sampel bakso di Pasar-Pasar Kelurahan Cempaka Putih aman untuk dikonsumsi umat muslim.

Abstract

Cemaran daging babi masih menjadi salah satu permasalahan dalam berlangsungnya kegiatan perekonomian pengadaan daging di masyarakat, salah satunya ada pada produk daging giling. Tidak seluruh tempat penggilingan daging di pasar-pasar dapat menjamin bahwa daging yang digiling merupakan daging halal tanpa adanya kontaminasi babi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis cemaran DNA babi pada 5 sampel daging giling yang diperoleh dari tempat penggilingan daging di pasar-pasar Kelurahan Cempaka Putih. Proses analisis DNA dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode RT-PCR (Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction). Kelima sampel akan dilakukan isolasi DNA menggunakan Mericon Food Kit lalu dianalisis kemurnian dan konsentrasinya dengan menggunakan alat sprektrofotometer, selanjutnya sampel akan dilakukan proses RT-PCR dengan menggunakan Mericon Pig Kit. Analisis DNA sampel menunjukkan hasil negatif diseluruh sampel daging giling dan kontrol negatif ditandai dengan tidak adanya kenaikan garis kurva amplifikasi pada chanel FAM, sementara kontrol positif DNA babi menunjukkan hasil positif dengan adanya kenaikan nilai Cq (quantification cycle) pada kurva amplifikasi chanel FAM. Hal ini menandakan proses RT-PCR berlangsung dengan baik dan 5 sampel daging giling tidak mengandung DNA babi.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah negeri dengan prevalensi TB paru ke-3 di dunia setelah China dan India. Banyak faktor yang berpengaruh pada TB paru, salah satunya adalah usia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran karakteristik penderita TB paru klinis yang diantaranya usia, jenis kelamin, tempat tinggal, status gizi, riwayat TB paru, riwayat penyakit komorbid, dan riwayat penyakit paru. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pengolahan dan analisa data menggunakan program SPSS sedangkan penyajian data dalam bentuk tabel distribusi frekuensi. Dengan populasi sebanyak 522 penderita TB paru dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 84 penderita TB paru yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penderita TB paru berusia 26-45 tahun (38.1%) dan 45-65 tahun (38.1%), berjenis kelamin laki-laki (51.2%), tinggal di DKI Jakarta (83.3%), status gizi dengan kriteria 18.5-22.9 kg/m2 (44%), memiliki Riwayat TB paru (61.9%), tidak memiliki riwayat penyakit komorbid (63.1%), tidak memiliki riwayat penyakit paru (65.5%). Diharapkan kepada masyarakat untuk memelihara kesehatan agar terhindar dari penyakit tuberkulosis.

Abstract

Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease are associated with high blood sugar and poor lipid profiles. Almonds and peanuts have the potential to reduce these risks. This study aims to evaluate the effects of these two nuts on blood sugar levels and lipid profiles, within the Islamic perspective of halal and thayyib foods. An experimental study was conducted with 4 groups: standard feed (K1), high-fat feed (K2), almond feed (K3), and peanut feed (K4) over 4 weeks. Blood sugar measurements were taken using the GOD-PAP method, and histopathological analysis of adipose tissue was performed using Hematoxylin-Eosin (HE) staining. The results showed that both almonds and peanuts significantly (P<0.05) increased blood sugar levels. When compared to the high-fat feed group, the nut groups were more effective in inhibiting this increase. However, changes in blood sugar levels and lipid profiles were not statistically significant (P>0.05). From the study results, it can be concluded that there are differences in blood sugar and lipid profiles after the consumption of almonds and peanuts, although not significant. The consumption of halal and thayyib foods is recommended in Islam.

Abstract

Setiap kasus TB paru dikonfirmasi secara bakteriologis atau terdiagnosis secara klinis yang mempengaruhi parenkim paru, sesuai dengan definisi kasus standar TB paru yang sebelumnya direvisi oleh WHO pada tahun 2013. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penderita TB paru klinis dengan gambaran foto thorax di RS YARSI pada periode Januari 2021-Desember 2022. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian observasional analitik. Sampel penelitian adalah pasien TB paru yang terdiagnosis klinis dan melakukan foto thorax. Dengan menggunakan teknik probability sampling, didapatkan sebesar 84 sampel yang selanjutnya akan dilakukan analisis statistik menggunakan uji chi-square. Total didapatkan sebanyak 43 pasien memiliki gambaran lesi moderat pada foto thorax. Analisis bivariat mengenai hubungan antara penderita TB Paru Klinis dengan hasil foto toraks pada didapatkan hasil sebesar 0,013 (0,013<0,05). Hal ini menandakan bahwa gejala klinis pasien sesuai dengan diagnosis klinisnya.

Abstract

KATA KUNCI Durasi Penggunaan Gadget, Syndrome Asthenopia, Remaja SMA, gadget, Syndrome Visual. ABSTRAK : Perkembangan teknologi digital yang semakin pesat membuat setiap orang menggunakan gadget. Penggunaan gadget bukan hanya digemari oleh orang dewasa akan tetapi juga digemari oleh para remaja karena gadget dianggap hal penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Di Indonesia sebesar 42,4% remaja mengalami kecanduan internet. Salah satu dampak negatif durasi waktu penggunaan gadget yang terlalu lama dapat menyebabkan keluhan kelelahan pada mata (Syndrome Asthenopia). Menurut pandangan Islam, menguatkan iman dan pembinaan dari orang tua merupakan kunci kesuksesan remaja dalam menghadapi tantangan di era globalisasi ini, termasuk gadget. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian kuantitatif dengan survei analitik dan rancangan penelitian potong lintang digunakan terhadap 145 siswa kelas X dan XI di SMA Negeri 3 Jakarta. Kuisioner durasi waktu penggunaan gadget dalam bentuk google form sedangkan tingkat keparahan Syndrome Asthenopia menggunakan perhitungan total skor berdasarkan Kuisioner Visual Fatigue Index (VFI). Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa Mayoritas durasi waktu penggunaan gadget remaja di SMA Negeri 3 Jakarta pada kategori sedang sebanyak 49.0% dan pada kategori ringan sebanyak 21.4%. Sebanyak 44.1% remaja di SMA Negeri 3 Jakarta mengalami astenopia dan sebanyak 55.9% remaja tidak mengalami astenopia. Terdapat hubungan bermakna antara Durasi Waktu Penggunaan Gadget terhadap Syndrome Asthenopiapada remaja SMA Negeri 3 Jakarta. KEYWORDS Duration of Gadget Use, Asthenopia Syndrome, High School Adolescents, Gadgets, Visual Syndrome ABSTRACT : The rapid development of digital technology makes everyone use gadgets. The use of gadgets is not only favoured by adults but also favoured by teenagers because gadgets are considered important in everyday life. In Indonesia, 42.4% of teenagers experience internet addiction. One of the negative impacts of prolonged screen time is that it can cause eye fatigue (Asthenopia Syndrome). According to the Islamic view, strengthening faith and parental guidance is the key to teenagers' success in facing challenges in this globalization era, including gadgets. This type of research is quantitative, with an analytic survey and cross-sectional research design, and was used on 145 students in grades X and XI at SMA Negeri 3 Jakarta. The questionnaire for the duration of time using gadgets in the form of a Google form, while the severity of Asthenopia Syndrome uses a total score calculation based on the Visual Fatigue Index (VFI) Questionnaire. The results showed that the majority of the duration of time using gadgets for adolescents in SMA Negeri 3 Jakarta was in the moderate category, as much as 49.0%, and in the mild category, as much as 21.4%. A total of 44.1% of adolescents in SMA Negeri 3 Jakarta experienced asthenopia, and 55.9% of adolescents did not experience asthenopia. A significant relationship exists between the duration of time using gadgets and Asthenopia Syndrome in SMA Negeri 3 Jakarta adolescents.

Abstract

Hypertension is a chronic condition commonly experienced by the elderly, with a high prevalence in Indonesia. This condition is caused by structural changes in blood vessels, such as lumen narrowing, stiffening of vessel walls, and reduced elasticity, which lead to increased blood pressure. One of the primary risk factors for hypertension is an unhealthy diet, including high sodium and fat consumption. This study aims to explore the relationship between dietary habits and the incidence of hypertension among elderly individuals in RW 07, Sumur Batu Village, Central Jakarta, from an Islamic perspective. This research employs a quantitative approach with an analytical cross-sectional design. The sample consists of 55 elderly individuals selected through purposive sampling. Data were directly collected through interviews using a dietary habit questionnaire based on the Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) and blood pressure measurements with a sphygmomanometer. Statistical analysis using the chi-square test was conducted to identify the relationship between dietary habits and hypertension incidence. The majority of respondents had irregular dietary patterns, with high salt and fat consumption as dominant factors. The analysis revealed a significant relationship between dietary habits and hypertension (p < 0.05). Elderly individuals with irregular dietary habits were at a higher risk of developing hypertension compared to those with healthy dietary patterns. Adopting dietary practices aligned with the Islamic principles of halalan thayyiban can help prevent hypertension by emphasizing the importance of consuming nutritious and balanced food. Unhealthy dietary habits are significantly associated with hypertension in the elderly. Community-based health education, including religious approaches, is necessary to raise awareness about the importance of healthy eating in preventing hypertension.
