Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of group investigation learning (X) on the critical thinking abilities (Y) of PAI undergraduate students at Singaperbangsa University Karawang. The research method used a quantitative approach with a relational study type, and the research population was 1140 students with a purposive sampling technique. The research sample was set at 110 students; the instruments used were questionnaires and project-based performance test results. Group Investigation Cooperative Learning, 16% in the low category, 69% in the medium category, and 15% in the high category. So, the cooperative learning group, the Investigation of Islamic Religious Education students, is in the medium category. Students' critical thinking ability is 7% in the low category, 79% in the medium category, and 14% in the high category. So, learning essential thinking skills for Islamic Religious Education students is in the medium category. The R Square value = 0.756; thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of group investigation learning (X) on critical thinking abilities (Y) of PAI S-1 students at Singaperbangsa University Karawang of 75.6%. In comparison, 24.4% is influenced by other variables that are not variables in this research.

Abstract

Moderasi beragama sejatinya adalah menciptakan insan-insan yang memahami agama secara baik, mendalam, dan mengimplementasikan dengan cara yang baik. Kampus tidak hanya menjadi tempat pendidikan formal, tetapi juga dapat dijadikan wadah yang mempromosikan pemahaman agama yang moderat dan kerjasama antaragama. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka (library research), yaitu pengumpulan data dengan cara mencari sumber dan merkontruksi dari berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal, dan riset-riset yang sudah ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan membahas bagaimana peran kampus dalam menanamkan moderasi beragama kepada generasi muda. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa moderasi beragama merupakan konsep yang mengacu pada sikap, pemahaman, dan praktik keagamaan yang seimbang, toleran, dan menghormati perbedaan dalam hal keyakinan agama dan spiritualitas. Kampus sebagai lembaga pendidikan dapat menjadi salah satu wadah yang mampu mencetak generasi penerus yang memiliki jiwa moderat melalui pembentukan lingkungan, pendidikan yang toleran, kurikulum yang mendukung moderasi beragama, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan pengembangan diri.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMPIT Istiqomah Global School Klari Karawang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memiliki peran penting dalam menentukan arah kebijakan sekolah, memotivasi guru dan siswa, serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Kepemimpinan yang efektif ditandai dengan kemampuan kepala sekolah dalam berkomunikasi, mengambil keputusan, dan melakukan inovasi. Temuan ini menyarankan bahwa peningkatan mutu pendidikan dapat dicapai melalui kepemimpinan yang inspiratif dan partisipatif.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of the leadership of the madrasa head on the effectiveness of Islamic education management at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 4 Karawang. The research method uses interview instruments to collect data from madrasa heads. The results of the analysis show that the participatory and inclusive leadership style applied by the madrasa head has contributed significantly to the development of innovative curricula, improving the quality of education, and efficient resource management. Programs such as "Clean and Green Madrasas" have also been shown to positively influence school culture and student academic achievement. The implications of this research support the importance of effective leadership in the context of Islamic education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Human civilization today cannot be separated from the development of information and communication technology. The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the impact of the use of information and communication technology on the development of early childhood religious and moral values. The results of this study indicate that the use of ICT has a positive and negative impact, especially the psychological impact on children's development. In addition, the use of ICT, if it can be used wisely, can lead to a) the right to education through the use of ICT under parental supervision, b) the role of parents in education, supervision, and control of children in the use of ICT, c) facilitate parents and children in learning and communication, d) can grow aspects of child development comprehensively, e) as a media for children to learn characters in a game/video, f) helping children listen to murotal or g) as a reminder (alarm) when worshiping/doing essential activities. The findings of the adverse effects of this study caused: a) children sometimes spoke harshly, b) children became quiet and lacked socialization with the surrounding environment, and c) lost track of time.

Abstract

The teacher's position once looked down upon, is now considered a professional and even stipulated in Law no. 14 of 2005 Chapter II Article 2. Therefore, the position of the teacher now is no longer just teaching but also educating, fostering, motivating, and becoming a model for students. Efforts to instill commendable behavior in early childhood can be made through character education if a teacher understands his position. This study sought information about the teacher's position in instilling character education in early childhood at Shafa Marwah Karawang Kindergarten. The method used in this research is qualitative with descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques using passive participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the teacher's position in the development of early childhood character education at Shafa Marwah Karawang Kindergarten is not only as a learning resource, facilitator, manager, demonstrator, mentor, and evaluator but also has a position as a motivator. Teachers are also motivators because the teachers 1) explain or give direction and guidance on the objectives of each activity carried out, 2) arouse student interest will be encouraged them to learn and get used to it well, 3) use various learning models and strategies, 4) creating a pleasant atmosphere, and 5) giving awards or praise to students after doing commendable things.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman konseptual mengenai pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning) kepada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) Institut Bakti Negara (IBN) Tegal melalui skema Visiting Lecturer. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara daring menggunakan aplikasi Zoom dengan melibatkan 50 mahasiswa sebagai peserta aktif. Alur kegiatan meliputi: (1) persiapan, (2) pelaksanaan sosialisasi (3) evaluasi dan (4) tindak lanjut. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa (lebih dari 70%) menilai program ini sangat bermanfaat, memahami konsep yang disampaikan, serta termotivasi untuk mengembangkan keterampilan digital berbasis deep learning dalam bidang PAI. Evaluasi kuesioner memperkuat temuan bahwa kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan konseptual, tetapi juga mampu menumbuhkan motivasi belajar dan literasi teknologi di kalangan mahasiswa. Program sosialisasi ini dapat disimpulkan berhasil mencapai tujuannya, yaitu memperkenalkan deep learning sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran modern yang relevan dengan pengembangan keilmuan Islam. Keberhasilan ini menjadi dasar untuk mahasiswa tidak hanya memahami teori, tetapi juga mampu mengimplementasikan deep learning dalam kegiatan akademik dan riset.
