Abstract

Silage is a simple processed feed which is carried out by means of anaerobic fermentation. The community service activity program was done in Werwaru village in 2022. The main target in implementing this community service was the breeder community in Werwaru Village. This team consisted of lecturers and students of Pattimura University Animal Husbandry Study Program (PSDKU). The results of the implementation of community service with the theme of processing forage for animal feed into silage feed got well and smoothly, this could be said because of being participated on the head of villager and his staff. During the presentation on materials, the community gave interactive questions related to silage processing so that the breeder community felt more aware of the benefits, used and methods of processing forage into silage feed. With the implementation of this community service activity, it was hoped that it would provide benefits to the livestock community in Werwaru village.

Abstract

Geographically, Nyama Yang Hamlet is located on Moa Island, Southwest Maluku Regency, which has very rich natural resource potential, with the potential for coconut plantations. The right skills training can help increase productivity and create jobs. Answering these problems, the main purpose of this community service activity is to provide education and knowledge to the public about the benefits and process of making VCO. This service activity uses a descriptive method whose implementation begins with a preliminary study, mentoring and guidance, processing and production training, marketing, promotion, and evaluation using pretest and posttest to assess program effectiveness. The results of the questionnaire showed that 20 Nyama hamlet residents who participated in the training activities did not know how to process VCO. 3 people or 15% of residents do not know the benefits of VCO. However, after the activity ended, the results of the questionnaire showed that 100% of the residents of Nyama Hamlet were skilled in processing VCO and understood the various benefits of VCO both in daily life and having a high selling value.

Abstract

This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes at SD Negeri Wakarleli through the application of cooperative learning model type example non example. This research is a classroom action research conducted collaboratively between researchers and classroom teachers. The subjects in this study were grade VI students totaling 18 students. The research design used in this classroom action research is a design by Arikunto which is carried out in two cycles. The instruments used in this study, namely pre-test and post-test questions, observation sheets, interview guidelines, and documents. The data collection techniques used were tests, observations, documentation and interviews. The variables in this study consisted of math learning outcomes and the example non example learning model. The data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive method through the stages of reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that from the initial conditions before the action was taken, students had not optimally shown academic ability, experiencing significant changes, this was seen from the percentage of learning outcomes in cycle 1 of 55.56% increasing to 100% in cycle 2, so it can be concluded that the example non example learning model can improve math learning outcomes at SD Negeri Wakarleli.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model SAVI Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas VI SD Negeri Tiakur. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kuantitatif dengan model penelitian yang digunakan adalah menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pre test post test desaign. Populasi yang menjadi fokus penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Tiakur. Sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas VI B yang berjumlah 32 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diterapkan meliputi tes, angket, dan dokumentasi, dengan menggunakan lembar tes sebagai instrumen penelitian. Analisis data melibatkan uji instrumen penelitian, seperti uji validitas tes dan uji reliabilitas, serta uji persyaratan data dengan uji normalitas, dan Nilai N-Gain. Untuk pengolahan dan analisis data, digunakan uji koefisien korelasi dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji-t. Program SPSS versi 20 digunakan untuk membantu pengujian dan analisis data dalam penelitian ini. Hasil nilai Post Test lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan nilai Pre Test, dengan rata-rata nilai Post Test sebesar 82, sedangkan rata-rata nilai Pre Test adalah 54,2. Pada uji peningkatan N-Gain diperoleh 15 responden atau 46% siswa yang mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar matematika dengan peningkatan tinggi, sebanyak 17 responden atau 53% siswa mengalami peningkatan sedang. Nilai rata-rata N-Gain secara keseluruhan sebesar 0,6 atau peningkatan hasil belajar statistika berada pada peningkatan sedang, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model SAVI efektif. Berdasarkan tabel Paired Samples Test nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,005 menunjukan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara Pre Test dan Post Test. 0 Hipotesis (H0) dari penelitian ini ditolak dan Hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang bermakna yakni model SAVI terhadap hasil belajar siswa

Abstract

This Community Service Activity aims to improve the literacy of elementary school students through the read-aloud method using picture books at SD Kristen Klis, Klis Village, Pulau Moa District, Southwest Maluku Regency. The background of this activity is the low interest and reading ability of students, caused by the lack of variation in teaching methods and limited vocabulary. The activity was conducted in December 2024 and included several stages: planning, program development, implementation of read-aloud sessions, and evaluation. The picture books used were selected based on the age appropriateness for the students and the inclusion of character values. The read-aloud sessions are conducted expressively and interactively, accompanied by follow-up activities such as drawing, writing short sentences, and discussions. The results of the evaluation through observation and comprehension tests show an increase in reading interest, listening skills, speaking confidence, as well as understanding of the story content and character values. More than 80% of the students were able to correctly answer most of the comprehension questions. In conclusion, the read-aloud method with picture books is effective in enhancing early literacy skills and shaping students' character through enjoyable and meaningful learning experiences.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatakan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Kristen Letoda dengan penggunaan pembelajaram model direct learning. Metode yang diguakan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Kristen Letoda yang berjumlah 20 Orng di antranya 12 Orang siswa perempuan dan siswa laki-laki berjumlah 8. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. hasil tes akhir siklus II menunjukan bahwa, terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar dari siklus I yang mencapai ketuntasan klasikal sebesar pada tes awal 10% mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I 70% pada siklus II menjadi 100% %, pada siklus II. Hal ini menujukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran direct learning berdampak positif terhadap proses pembelajaran IPS di kelas IV SD Kristen Letoda.

Abstract

This case study examines the understanding of Han (a pseudonym), a prospective elementary school teacher in Universitas Pattimura Southwest Maluku Regency, in three weeks with two two-hour meetings each week. The investigator collected data by giving The Integer Test of Primary Operation and followed by an interview. During the research, it was found that Han's conceptual errors occurred in the addition of positive and negative integers, addition of negative integers, subtraction of positive integers, subtraction of negative integers and subtraction involving both positive and negative integers. These conceptual errors occurred because Han applied the rules of multiplication to addition and subtraction. Moreover, in some cases Han also did not pay attention to the operation in the question. It can be concluded that the use of beach pebbles as learning media followed by intensive course can improve Han's understanding in addition and subtraction of integers.

Abstract

The mentoring program for the development of AI-assisted ethnoscience-based LKPD at SD Negeri Tiakur aims to enhance teachers' skills in designing LKPD that are relevant to the local culture. This training is motivated by the low utilization of technology in learning in border areas such as the Maluku Barat Daya Regency, as well as the insufficient integration of local culture in the learning process. The methods employed include socialization, training, evaluation, and program sustainability. The evaluation results show an 81% improvement in teachers' skills based on the N-gain test. This program has produced attractive, interactive, and contextual LKPD, blending local cultural elements such as traditional dances, weaving, and the koli tree with modern scientific concepts. The use of technology tools such as Canva and Quizizz has made it easier for teachers to design and evaluate LKPD. This program not only improves the effectiveness of learning but also promotes the preservation of local wisdom and supports the achievement of inclusive, high-quality, and contextual education.

Abstract

Daerah 3T sering menghadapi berbagai hambatan dalam mengakses pendidikan, termasuk jarak yang jauh, minimnya infrastruktur, keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, dan kondisi sosial-ekonomi yang rendah. Dusun Nyama secara geografis merupakan dusun di Desa Klis yang berada Pulau Moa dan daerah 3T. Dusun Nyama sering menghadapi keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, minimnya jumlah guru yang terlatih, kurangnya buku dan materi pembelajaran, serta kekurangan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan sehingga menjadi kendala dalam memberikan pendidikan yang berkualitas. Untuk mengisi keterbatasan tersebut, perlu dilakukan program bimbingan belajar. Tujuan program bimbingan belajar ini untuk membantu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Dusun Nyama. Metode pengabdian ini menggunakan bimbingan belajar dengan pemberian dan penguatan tentang materi-materi dasar yang dilakukan oleh Mahasiswa KKN kepada siswa SD Nyama. Bimbel ini dilakukan secara luring atau tatap muka secara langsung antara tutor peserta bimbingan belajar. Lokasi pelaksanaan bimbel di Gedung sekolah SD Nyama kecamatan Moa dengan peserta bimbingan belajar adalah siswa-siswi SD dari kelas satu sampai dengan kelas enam, dengan materi sesuai dengan pelajaran disekolah. Berdasarkan hasil tes diperoleh kegiatan bimbingan belajar ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman serta prestasi para peserta  dalam bidang akademik. Diharapkan melalui bimbingan belajar, anak-anak dapat mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang materi pelajaran, meningkatkan keterampilan belajar dan meningkatkan kemampuan akademik mereka

Abstract

Desa Klis merupakan salah satu desa yang menjadi lokasi Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) mahasiswa PSDKU Universitas Pattimura. Berdasarkan hasil observasi terhadap anak-anak Sekolah Dasar dan Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Desa Klis diketahui bahwa terdapat anak-anak yang memiliki kemampuan literasi numerasi yang rendah. Kegiatan bimbingan belajar bagi siswa merupakan salah satu program unggulan yang dilaksanakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh anak-anak di Desa Klis. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi anak-anak Sekolah Dasar dan Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Desa Klis. Bimbingan belajar berupa pemberian materi dan latihan soal-soal literasi numerasi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 13 Juli – 12 September 2023 setiap hari Selasa dan Jum’at pukul 17.00 – 19.00 WIT. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa program bimbingan belajar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi anak-anak Sekolah Dasar dan Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Desa Klis. Hal ini dilihat dari kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal–soal literasi numerasi.
