Abstract

This study aims to examine inclusive entrepreneurship education as a strategy for fostering entrepreneurial spirit among vulnerable and marginalised groups, such as female heads of households, people with disabilities, young unemployed people, and urban poor communities. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method, analysing 23 carefully selected scientific articles from a total of 50 initial sources obtained through Google Scholar and other credible websites during the period 1984–2025. The analysis results indicate that contextual, participatory, and community-based entrepreneurship education can enhance the competencies, motivation, and economic opportunities of the target groups. This study also integrates several theoretical frameworks, such as the Capability Approach, Transformative Learning, and Inclusive Innovation, to explain how education can promote structural empowerment and economic independence. Additionally, case studies from community-based programmes in Indonesia provide concrete evidence of the importance of cross-sectoral collaboration in supporting entrepreneurial inclusion. This research concludes that inclusive entrepreneurship education has great potential to drive social transformation and poverty alleviation, despite facing structural and institutional challenges.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of humanistic education management in improving the quality of social intervention in community service activities. The humanistic approach in education places humans as active subjects in the learning process and social empowerment, so that values such as empathy, respect for individual dignity, and dialogue become the main foundation in designing social intervention programs. This research uses a literature review method with a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis. Data were collected from Google Scholar and other credible scientific sites in the period 1951-2025. Of the 30 articles reviewed, 18 were selected through a rigorous selection based on the relevance and quality of the sources. The results showed that educational management based on humanistic principles has been proven to increase the effectiveness, sustainability, and community acceptance of social interventions conducted by universities. This study recommends the importance of integrating humanistic values into the management system of community service programmes in order to produce more meaningful and transformative social impacts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of community service in driving technology-based socio-economic transformation through the enhancement of marketing human resources (HR) quality within the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector. Using a qualitative approach through a literature review method, this research analyzes 22 selected scientific articles out of a total of 30 references obtained from Google Scholar and credible academic websites throughout 1989–2025. Descriptive analysis is employed to identify intervention patterns, underlying theories, and tangible outcomes of community service programs focused on strengthening digital and marketing competencies of MSME actors. The findings indicate that the integration of digital technology and participatory community mentoring can improve marketing strategy effectiveness, expand consumer reach, and reinforce the position of MSMEs in the digital economic value chain. These results are supported by the Technology Acceptance Model, Social Cognitive Theory, and Resource-Based View, which position knowledge and capability as key assets in addressing the challenges of digital transformation. This study concludes that community service oriented towards strengthening technology-based marketing serves as a strategic instrument in building MSME sustainability and improving the economic welfare of local communities.

Abstract

This study aims to critically analyze how the integration of digital infrastructure and technology-based entrepreneurship can drive the repositioning of cities as innovative ecosystems within modern urban contexts. Employing a qualitative approach through a literature review method, this research examines 33 scholarly articles selected from 50 academic sources obtained via Google Scholar and other credible databases, published between 2020 and 2025. The findings reveal that the successful repositioning of cities is heavily influenced by the synergy between the availability of digital infrastructure, the activation of technology-driven entrepreneurship, collaborative governance, and the involvement of key actors such as government, universities, communities, and the business sector. Case studies from cities like Tallinn, Surabaya, Jakarta, and Bandung reinforce the argument that transforming cities into innovative ecosystems requires a systemic, theory-based approach that emphasizes social sustainability. This research offers both theoretical and practical contributions to the formulation of urban policies aimed at fostering cities as collaborative, digital, and innovation-driven spaces.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies for enhancing citizen participation in environmental education through program innovations based on multi-stakeholder collaboration and the use of digital technology. The method employed is a literature review with a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis, primarily intended to enrich references related to community service in the field of environmental studies. Data were collected from scholarly articles in Google Scholar and credible websites within the period of 1977–2025. From the initial 50 articles identified, 27 were selected through a strict screening process based on relevance, quality, and contribution to the research topic. The findings reveal that enhancing citizen participation is influenced by cross-sector collaboration, innovative learning design, and the application of interactive and inclusive digital technologies. Theories such as Civic Engagement, Collaborative Governance, the Technology Acceptance Model, Self-Determination Theory, Social Learning, and Diffusion of Innovations provide relevant conceptual foundations for understanding the dynamics of participation. Case studies such as the Climate Village Program (ProKlim), Digital Waste Bank in Bandung, and Pentingsari Tourism Village in Yogyakarta provide empirical evidence of the successful implementation of these strategies. This research makes an important contribution to the development of participatory-based environmental education, strengthens multi-stakeholder collaboration, and enriches sustainable community service practices.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of civic engagement and e-government in improving accountability and transparency in metropolitan city management. The method employed is a literature review with a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis. Data were collected from Google Scholar and other credible and relevant websites, covering publications from 1989–2025. From an initial pool of 40 articles, a rigorous selection process based on relevance, methodological quality, and source credibility yielded 31 articles for further analysis. The findings indicate that civic engagement serves as a participatory mechanism that strengthens the legitimacy of public policies, while e-government functions as a digital infrastructure that expands information access, accelerates communication, and facilitates real-time public oversight. The integration of these two elements has been shown to enhance metropolitan governance accountability and transparency, supported by the Participatory Governance Theory, Technology Acceptance Model, Accountability Theory, and Transparency Theory. Case studies in Jakarta, Surabaya, Seoul, and New York confirm that successful implementation depends heavily on inclusive system design, public digital literacy, and the government’s commitment to openness. This research offers a theoretical contribution to the development of smart governance concepts and provides practical implications for urban policymakers seeking to establish governance that is responsive, open, and trustworthy.

Entrepreneurs and small businesses play a crucial role in the global economy, particularly as sources of innovation, employment, and local economic growth. However, many entrepreneurial business entities face various challenges, including market uncertainty, intense competition, and a lack of resources and managerial experience. This research aims to examine the role of mentorship in stimulating the growth and success of entrepreneurial business entities. The research method employs a qualitative literature review approach with a focus on exploring relevant literature through Google Scholar. Literature searches were conducted on Google Scholar with a time frame between 2013 and 2023 to ensure inclusivity of recent studies. The study's findings indicate that, in the context of entrepreneurial business, the importance of mentorship proves to be a highly significant element in stimulating growth and success. Mentorship not only serves as a provider of practical advice but also as a source of inspiration, holistic perspectives, and emotional support. Through their experience and wisdom, mentors assist entrepreneurs in overcoming challenges, identifying opportunities, and developing long-term strategies to advance their businesses.
