Abstract

The management of National Parks which have special regulations means that village communities around the area have limitations in utilizing the potential of the forests around where they live, as a result, conflicts often occur between village communities and National Park managers. It is necessary to find a solution to utilize a more diverse range of forest products without having to violate the rules for managing national parks. One of the non-timber forest products that has quite high potential for improving the economic level of society is natural dyes that can be extracted from various kinds of resources in the forest. Bukit Baka Bukit Raya National Park has very abundant natural resources so efforts are needed to utilize these natural resources sustainably. For this reason, the PKM Forestry team, in collaboration with the TNBBBR management, carries out outreach on the potential of natural dyes as a use of natural products based on regional potential in improving the economy of the community of Belaban Ella Village, Belaban Resort, Bukit Baka Bukit Raya National Park. It is hoped that this outreach can increase the community's capacity to utilize forest products that are environmentally friendly and of course have high economic value. This outreach can change people's mindset to start exploiting the potential that exists in the forest in an environmentally sustainable way.

Abstract

Spiritual culture is a manifestation of inner culture that can only be communicated through the expression of symbols that are still alive. This culture can be understood and has become a belief of the Dayak people that cannot be changed. The forms of spiritual culture include customs, language, tools, clothing, buildings, and works of art that develop and are passed down from generation to generation. PT Hutan Ketapang Industri is an industrial plantation forest company that helps protect spiritual culture and important locations for traditions/customs in order to maintain the cultural identity of local residents. The purpose of the study was to obtain and analyze data on spiritual culture around PT Hutan Ketapang Industri in kendawangan sub-district, Ketapang Regency. This study uses a survey method. Data collection by interview using the snowball sampling technique. Interviews were conducted with the Village Headwho was the key respondent to obtain information about spiritual culture with a question guide. Data analysis techniques using descriptive methods with a qualitative approach. The results of spiritual culture research show cultural sites, traditional rituals and objects used in traditional rituals. Spiritual culture is still maintained and preserved today by the people of Pangkalan Batu Village, Kedondong Village and Mekar Utama Village. Keywords: Key Responden, PT. Hutan Ketapang Industri, Snowball, Spiritual Culture Abstrak Budaya spiritual merupakan perwujudan budaya batin yang hanya dapat dikomunikasikan melalui eksperesi simbol-simbol yang masih hidup. Budaya ini dapat dipahami dan sudah menjadi kepercayaan masyarakat dayak yang tidak dapat diubah. Bentuk budaya spiritual tersebut antara lain adat istiadat, bahasa, perkakas, pakaian, bangunan, dan karya seni yang berkembang dan diwariskan dari generasi ke generasi. PT. Hutan Ketapang Industri merupakan perusahaan hutan tanaman industri yang ikut melindungi budaya spiritual serta lokasi penting bagi tradisi/adat agar terjaganya identitas budaya warga setempat. Tujuan penelitian untuk memperoleh dan menganalisis data budaya spiritual di sekitar PT. Hutan Ketapang Industri Kecamatan kendawangan Kabupaten Ketapang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara menggunakan teknik snowball sampling. Wawancara dilakukan kepada Kepala Desa yang merupakan responden kunci untuk mendapakan informasi tentang budaya spiritual dengan panduan pedoman pertanyaan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian budaya spiritual menunjukkan situs budaya, ritual adat dan benda-benda yang digunakan dalam ritual adat. Budaya spiritual masih dijaga dan dilestarikan hingga sampai sekarang oleh masyarakat Desa Pangkalan Batu, Desa Kedondong dan Desa Mekar Utama. Kata kunci: Responden Kunci, PT. Abstract

Desa Cipta Karya merupakan desa wisata yang berada di Kabupaten Bengkayang, hal tersebut menyebabkan banyaknya aktivitas wisata masyarakat yang berakibat pada meningkatnya limbah plastik. Status desa yang termasuk kedalam 75 desa wisata terbaik di Indonesia menyebabkan masyarakat dan pemerintah harus tetap menjaga keindahalan lingkungan desa tersebut, salah satu caranya adalah dengan pengolahan sampah plastik. Pembuatan Ecobrick merupakan salah satu solusi pengolahan limbah plastik menjadi barang yang memiliki nilai guna. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk wadah transfer informasi tentang potensi pengolahan limbah plastik menjadi produk ecobrick sebagai tanggung jawab civitas akademika dalam upaya menjaga status desa sebagai desa wisata terbaik. Pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah dengan cara persentasi dan praktek langsung pembuatan produk ecobrick. Dari olah data kuisioner menunjukan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pengolahan limbah plastik yang memiliki nilai guna lebih dan dapat memberikan peluang usaha baru dengan nilai jual yang tinggi sehingga masyarakat menjadi unggul dalam ekonomi dan lingkungan pun terjaga.

Abstract

Ensaid Panjang Village is one of the villages in Sintang Regency that has various natural and local cultural potentials that can be developed into ecotourism destinations.. Research was conducted to examine strategic issues, examine internal and external factors and formulate development strategies based on SWOT analysis. The research was conducted in Ensaid Panjang Village, Sintang Regency, Kelam Permai District, West Kalimantan. Data collection was carried out by observation, documentation and interviews obtained from Key Person and Accidental Sampling used to interview visitors. The results showed that Ecotourism in Ensaid Panjang Village is in quadrant 1 which shows that the right strategy to develop tourism is to use strengths as opportunities such as making tour packages, using government support to improve facilities, and utilizing tourism as educational material. Keywords: Ecotourism, Ensaid Panjang, and SWOT Abstrak Desa Ensaid Panjang merupakan salah satu desa di Kabupaten Sintang yang memiliki berbagai potensi alam dan budaya lokal yang potensial dikembangkan untuk destinasi ekowisata. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengkaji isu-isu strategi, mengkaji factor internal dan eksternal dan merumuskan strategi pengembangan berdasarkan analisis SWOT. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Ensaid Panjang Kabupaten Sintang, Kecamatan Kelam Permai, Kalimantan Barat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara yang diperoleh dari Key Person dan Accidental Sampling yang digunakan untuk mewawancarai pengunjung.Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa Ekowisata yang berada di Desa Ensaid Panjang berapada pada kuadran 1 yang menunjukan bahwa Strategi yang tepat untuk mengembangkan wisata adalah menggunakan kekuatan sebagai peluang seperti membuat paket wisata, menggunakan dukungan pemerintah untuk meningkatkan fasilitas, dan memanfaatkan wisata sebagai bahan edukasi. Abstract

The communities that live in the neighborhood of national parks have restrictions on the use of the forests around them; this is related to the rules that protect the national park as a conservation area. It often creates conflict between the public and the government. Sustainable use of forests by using non-wood forests as raw materials for the production of ecoprint products can be one of the solutions. Faculty of Forestry has an obligation to assist the government in ensuring the sustainability of the forests around the national parks. This activity aims to transfer science by introducing ecoprint products that can use the potential of the surrounding nature in a sustainable way. The method used is perform a presentation and direct practice of producing ecoprint products. This activity was accomplished through the collaboration between Bukit Baka Bukit Raya National Park and the Ella Belaban Village, which had about 35 participants. The success of this activity is evaluated through the  questionnaires before and after the activity. Based on the results of the questionnaire, there is an increase in public understanding of ecoprint products over 65%.

Abstract

Bukit Baka Bukit Raya National Park in Indonesia has vast natural tourism potential, and one of its highlights is white water rafting at Belaban Resort. This study aimed to devise a strategy for developing rafting tourism at the Belaban Tana Kaya Resort. The research began in November 2021 and involved distributing questionnaires to respondents chosen through accidental sampling and conducting a Focus Group Discussion with the rafting tour manager at Resort Balaban. The data was analyzed using SWOT analysis, which helped identify the resort's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The results showed that the rafting tour at the Belaban Resort had a promising future, as it was in the first quadrant of the SWOT analysis, which supports aggressive growth policies while still adhering to the guidelines for sustainable tourism development based on national parks. The study's findings could guide the resort's management in devising a plan for developing rafting tourism sustainably, enhancing the resort's attractiveness to tourists, and boosting the local economy
