Abstract

This study analyzes student engagement in hybrid learning by analyzing digital literacy and academic self-efficacy. This study used a quantitative approach with the survey as a data collection method. The population in this study was 370 students, the faculty of teacher training and education at state universities in Jakarta, and private universities in Banten and Lampung. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling, obtained by 105 respondents. Data was collected through questionnaires, and structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to analyze the relationship between constructs. The results of this study state that Digital literacy and academic self-efficacy play an important role in creating student engagement in hybrid learning. The ability of students to use digital learning resources will support active participation in the learning process. A high academic level of self-efficacy also helps them to be able to have confidence and perseverance during the learning process. Digital literacy and academic self-efficacy will bring students to be actively involved in the digital learning environment and play an essential role in shaping or maintaining student motivation and persistence in learning. Students' engagement levels can be increased by increasing their ability to use digital technology effectively and increasing their confidence that they can achieve their desired academic goals.

Abstract

In supporting difficult learning, innovative learning media are needed. One of the innovative learning media is augmented reality (AR). In this study, there is an AR design that is needed for the material of geographical phenomena. The method used is R D (Borg Gall, 2014). The results obtained in this study are AR designs for geographical phenomena (volcanoes, earthquakes, and tsunamis). It is hoped that the AR design for the material on geographical phenomena in this article can be useful in applying augmented reality material for geographical phenomena in social studies for lecturers who want to develop it as a learning medium for students.

Abstract

Hybrid learning is a learning design approach that has been widely used by educational institutions by combining face-to-face learning components and technology-based learning pedagogy. In practice, hybrid learning demands to produce the same quality of academic achievement as face-to-face learning, so it requires special attention from lecturers to create meaningful learning experiences for students. This study specifically aims to analyze and evaluate academic performance in hybrid learning by exploring several factors, such as digital literacy, academic efficacy, and student engagement. This research was followed by 107 pre-service teacher students who participated in hybrid teaching spread across four different provincial regions. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire, and academic achievement was measured through a Grade Point Average (GPA).   The data analysis used in this study was path analysis. The results of this study reveal that student involvement is an important factor that affects academic achievement. In addition, digital literacy and academic self-efficacy indirectly affect academic performance through increased active social-emotional involvement of students in synchronous and asynchronous learning designs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the perception of implementing research-based teaching and teacher self-efficacy in improving professional teaching and learning. This study used a quantitative approach with the survey as a data collection method. 187 teachers were involved in the study spread across three different provincial regions. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires related to teachers' perceptions and self-assessments of research-based teaching, teacher self-efficacy, and professional teaching and learning. The analysis used a two-step approach involving measurement and structural model using structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis. The results showed that research-based teaching has  an assential role  in improving professional teaching and learning. In addition, teacher self-efficacy also affects the development of teaching and learning professionals, indicating that teacher confidence in their teaching ability has a significant impact on the quality of student learning. The use of research-based teaching by teachers not only increases the efficacy of their teaching, but also positively impacts the learning experience of students, enriching and expanding the quality of learning.

Abstract

Abstract

This paper proposes a technological approach to stopping violence in educational settings by integrating education and digital child protection. We conducted a qualitative, systematic literature review of national and international databases and analyzed policy recommendations regarding UNESCO, UNICEF, WHO, and the Indonesian Regulation No. 46/2023. The inclusion criteria included 20 peer-reviewed articles published between 2000 and 2025. We coded the types of violence, technology functions, roles of users and implementation contexts using content analysis. Three barriers are identified by the findings, including low educator competence in inclusive pedagogy and positive discipline, poor child- and disability-friendly facilities, and stigma of diversity that carries over into virtual communications. Reliant on these trends, the suggested model incorporates three domains. First, SOPs, privacy standards, and role-based workflow that connect reporting to accountable response and the protection of confidentiality are determined by digital safeguarding governance. Second, inclusive learning is enhanced by technology guaranteeing digital access, inculcation of digital citizenship and character values, and routines of safe interactions across platforms. Third, digital protection systems offer confidential or anonymous reporting, case-documentation, referral to counseling services and school-climate monitoring as an early warning.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to strengthen the economic capacity of members of Darma IIKP Perhutani Bandung through a womenpreneur empowerment program based on forest product processing and digital marketing. Women in the Perhutani work environment have significant entrepreneurial potential, yet face constraints including limited product innovation and restricted market access. A participatory approach was employed, encompassing outreach, technical production training, digital literacy training, and mentoring evaluation. Results indicate an 80% improvement in participants' technical ability to manage and upload product content to social media following one-on-one mentoring sessions. Participants also demonstrated enhanced understanding in diversifying forest-based processed products such as premium forest honey, forest coffee, essential oils, and eco-print crafts. This program is expected to foster sustainable household economic independence within the Perhutani Bandung community
