Abstract

This research aims to analyse forms of juvenile delinquency in Indonesia through the perspective of humanistic theory, and to examine the relevance of the Love-Based Curriculum as a preventive and curative solution to juvenile delinquency. Through a qualitative-descriptive approach, data was collected through case analysis of digital newspapers, then analysed by comparing adolescent behavioural patterns against humanistic theories from experts. The research findings indicate that juvenile delinquency stems from unmet needs for affection, social acceptance, and self-esteem. A curriculum based on love is seen as capable of being a preventive strategy by instilling values of affection and acceptance in the education sector, and as a curative solution through empathetic guidance that can restore adolescents’ sense of self-worth. The implications of this research require a reformulation of the direction of national education towards a humanistic approach to create a generation of young people who are characterised by love and social responsibility.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini penting untuk menjadi fondasi utama bagi kemampuan berpikir logis, pemecahan masalah, dan kesiapan siswa menghadapi tantangan belajar di jenjang berikutnya. Literasi dan numerasi adalah keterampilan dasar yang sangat penting dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Literasi tidak hanya tentang kemampuan baca dan tulis, tetapi juga kemampuan memahami dan menyampaikan informasi dengan baik. Sementara itu, numerasi berkaitan dengan kemampuan menggunakan bilangan, simbol, dan konsep matematika untuk menyelesaikan masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis efektivitas penerapan literasi dan numerasi dalam pembelajaran matematika di SD terhadap peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan berpikir siswa.Hasil dari beberapa penilaian internasional seperti PISA dan Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa Indonesia masih tergolong rendah. Artikel ini membahas konsep literasi dan numerasi dalam pembelajaran matematika SD, pentingnya meningkatkan kedua keterampilan tersebut, tantangan yang dihadapi oleh guru dan siswa, serta beberapa strategi yang dapat digunakan, seperti pembelajaran kontekstual, penggunaan media konkret, teknologi digital, hingga pendekatan berbasis proyek. Peran guru dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang menyenangkan sangat penting, agar siswa dapat memahami konsep matematika secara baik dan menghubungkannya dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi sejak dini, siswa diharapkan mampu mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, logis, dan sistematis yang diperlukan untuk menghadapi tantangan di abad ke-21.

Abstract

Low student learning motivation in economics subjects, particularly on payment systems and means of payment, remains a problem in senior high school learning. Therefore, digital learning media that can present material visually and interactively are needed. This study aims to analyze the effect of Canva-based learning media on students’ learning motivation and to provide empirical evidence regarding the integration of creative digital platforms in economics learning. This research employed a quantitative approach with an exploratory research design. The research sample consisted of 61 students who participated in learning activities using Canva-based media. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity using Product Moment correlation and for reliability using Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient. Data analysis was conducted through classical assumption tests and simple linear regression analysis. The results show that Canva-based learning media have a positive and significant effect on students’ learning motivation. The correlation value R = 0.802 indicates a very strong relationship, while the coefficient of determination R² = 0.643 shows that 64.3% of the variance in learning motivation is explained by the use of Canva media. The regression coefficient β = 0.752; sig. 0.000 confirms increased student motivation, while 35.7% is influenced by factors outside Canva media.
