Abstract

Pendidikan Islam berbasis kearifan lokal di Indonesia dan Filipina menawarkan solusi yang relevan dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi era kontemporer. Dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai lokal, pendidikan Islam dapat memberikan bekal bagi generasi muda menghadapi perubahan dan tantangan zaman tanpa melupakan identitas budaya. Pendekatan ini juga dapat memperkuat kohesivitas sosial dan memperkaya khazanah pendidikan di kedua negara. Di Indonesia pendidikan Islam telah berhasil mengimplementasikan model pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai agama dengan kearifan lokal secara efektif. Pola pembelajaran holistik dan berbasis praktik telah menghasilkan lulusan yang tidak hanya memiliki pengetahuan agama yang kuat, tetapi juga memiliki karakter yang mulia, keterampilan beragam, dan berkontribusi pada pengembangan masyarakat. Sedangkan pendidikan Islam di Filipina telah mengalami transformasi cukup besar. Di mana integrasi Madrasah dalam sistem Pendidikan Nasional merupakan langkah penting bagi umat Islam Filipina untuk mengakses pendidikan berkualitas dan pengembangan budaya kearifan lokal.

Abstract

Studi ini mengeksplorasi wawasan politik-ideologis di Pakistan dan Iran mengenai pendidikan Islam, khususnya berfokus pada integrasi doktrin Sunni dan Syiah dalam sistem pendidikan di kedua negara. Di Pakistan, sistem pendidikan mayoritas dipengaruhi oleh ajaran Sunni, seringkali mengabaikan keberadaan ajaran Syiah, sehingga menimbulkan pola pikir eksklusif di kalangan pelajar dan memperparah ketegangan sosial. Sebaliknya, pendidikan di Iran sangat didasarkan pada ajaran Syiah, yang terintegrasi dengan identitas nasional dan ideologi politik negara, seringkali mengabaikan pluralisme. Melalui pendekatan deskriptif-analitis dengan menggunakan berbagai sumber, antara lain jurnal nasional dan internasional terakreditasi, buku, dan dokumen kebijakan pendidikan dari kedua negara, penulis bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi sejauh mana integrasi doktrin Sunni dan Syiah meresap ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan di Pakistan dan Pakistan. Iran. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mengintegrasikan doktrin Sunni dan Syiah dalam pendidikan Islam dapat berkontribusi pada kehidupan beragama yang harmonis dan toleran, serta mengurangi potensi konflik berkepanjangan di masa depan.

Abstract

Islamic education faces complex challenges and opportunities in the era of globalization. This comparative study between the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Seoul National University (SNU) offers an interesting perspective on how two leading universities in Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia are developing Islamic studies programs that are relevant to social, cultural and religious contexts. This research aims to analyze the implementation of learning that is able to contribute to community development. The research method uses relevant literature studies with data sources from journal articles, books and official documents from both universities. The research approach uses descriptive analysis by understanding the differences and similarities implemented by these two institutions. Data analysis techniques use comparative studies, comparing various sources to find similarities, differences and relationships between concepts. The research results show that NUS and SNU have different approaches in integrating Islamic values into the curriculum. NUS places greater emphasis on the relevance of Islam to Singapore's multicultural context, while SNU focuses more on the roots of Islamic traditions. The two universities also have differences in terms of teaching methods, where NUS adopts a more interactive and problem-based approach, while SNU still maintains traditional teaching methods.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the actual condition of the education sector in the Republic of Yemen, along with the strategies that have been prepared in the context of developing and improving the quality of education. The panorama that is being observed is not only a picture of Yemen which until now is still preoccupied by conflicts and political disputes. This paper is expected to be one of the scientific contributions for further research in related fields. The data in this paper was obtained using qualitative research methods by conducting literature studies from various sources. The data collected is presented as it is without providing any interpretation. From these various sources, some data was obtained from official documents. Although with the disclosure of the source of the document, statements or articles that are opinions are minimized so that scientific objectivity is maintained. Based on the studies that have been conducted, an important keyword has been found that covers development in all sectors (including education) in Yemen, namely the Yemen Strategic Vision 2025. Especially in the field of education, the Ministry of Education and Culture has prepared a set of plans and achievement parameters for a certain work period. This article is not proposed as a form of problem solving, but rather is intended as additional literature for a more comprehensive review.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbandingan sistem kurikulum pendidikan Islam kontemporer di Kuwait dan Kazakhstan. Kedua negara memiliki perbedaan dalam aspek sejarah, budaya, dan politik, namun sama-sama menjadikan Islam sebagai agama resmi. Melalui studi literatur dan analisis dokumen kurikulum, penelitian ini berupaya menemukan persamaan dan perbedaan dalam penerapan pendidikan Islam di kedua negara tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat perbedaan dalam penekanan pada aspek-aspek tertentu seperti pada bidang fiqih, akidah, dan sejarah Islam. Namun, kedua negara memiliki tujuan yang sama yaitu mencetak generasi muda yang beriman, berilmu, dan berakhlak mulia. Secara umum muatan kurikulum pendidikan Islam di kedua negara tersebut mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam dengan ilmu pengetahuan modern. Hanya saja dalam pendekatan pembelajaran terdapat penekanan yang berbeda, di mana Kuwait lebih menekankan pada pembelajaran hafalan, sedangkan Kazakhtan lebih mengadopsi pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih aktif dan interaktif. Kekhasan unik ini, tampak dipengaruhi oleh faktor sejarah, budaya, dan kebijakan pemerintah masing-masing.

Abstract

South Korea have many things interested and make we have to find it more, not only about the culture but also abaout the education. The development of education in South Korea can be implemented with eitherbecause of the educational reforms undertaken by the government annualy in order to answer the challenges of the growing period. A long history on the history of education in South Korea that interest the researcher to examine how big the impact of the renewal of education towards the progress of national education. On 1999, the government launched the Brain Korea 21st project as on of the government’s ambitious program to improve the competitve power of the nation of Korea. The main question was “How the implementation of Brain Korea 21st project and the impacts for South Korea in 1999 – 2005?”. To answer that problem, the researcher implead a history method and literature technique there are books and journals. Based the research and the conclusion was, first the Brain Korea 21st project which was launched by the goverment on 1999 is a project initiated during 7 years with various objective impact on the socio-cultural aspect was gender equally during this so the issue in South Korea as well the increasing suicides and the emergence of the social gap between professors at the local University. Second the impact of which was felt in the aspect of economy is pulling back the number of foreign investors after implemented the Brain Korea 21st project.

Abstract

The education system in Indonesia tends to prioritize cognitive aspects, such as academic scores and exams, with less emphasis on affective and psychomotor aspects. This article examines the comparison between the education systems of Indonesia and Japan as developed countries that have advantages in this regard. Japan, with its superior education system, focuses on developing affective, cognitive and psychomotor aspects, as well as instilling normative values ​​from an early age. This comparative evaluation is the basis for advancing the Indonesian education system in a more holistic direction. Some of the findings include differences in educational philosophy, decentralization, educational goals, curriculum flexibility, funding, educational personnel qualifications, and examination approaches. The results of this evaluation can be a reference for improving and advancing the Indonesian education system so that it is able to create a golden generation in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of Islam education is to form Muslim personal that develop spiritual, physical, emotional intellectual and social potensials. It does not only produces good citizens but also covers the formation of a complete human capital in terms of religious and worldly life. In addition, The goal of Islamic education not only to produce good person but also the persons who that can meet the needs of the world and life in the hereafter. The main focus of this article is about the development of Islamic Education in Malaysia include the type and level of education, and education policy in contemporary this era.

Abstract

This study discusses the urgency of integrating the concepts of tasamuh (tolerance) and ta'ayush (harmonious coexistence) as a strategic effort to erode the fanaticism of theological schools of thought that often causes division among Muslims. By using a thematic interpretation approach to QS. Ali 'Imran verse 103, this study examines the values ​​of unity, oneness, and mutual respect contained in the verse as a normative basis for building an inclusive and harmonious attitude between schools of thought. The research method used is qualitative with analysis of the text of the Qur'an and related literature that supports the understanding of tasamuh and ta'ayush in the context of Islamic theology. The results of the study indicate that the integration of the two concepts is very important to reduce excessive fanaticism and strengthen Islamic brotherhood. This study recommends that scholars, educators, and community leaders prioritize the values ​​of tasamuh and ta'ayush in preaching and religious education in order to create a more inclusive, peaceful, and united Islamic society. Thus, this study makes an important contribution to the development of moderate and tolerant Islamic thought.Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas urgensi integrasi konsep tasamuh (toleransi) dan ta’ayush (hidup berdampingan secara harmonis) sebagai upaya strategis dalam mengikis sikap kepanatikkan mazhab teologi yang kerap menimbulkan perpecahan di kalangan umat Islam. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan tafsir tematik terhadap QS. Ali ‘Imran ayat 103, penelitian ini mengkaji nilai-nilai persatuan, kesatuan, dan saling menghormati yang terkandung dalam ayat tersebut sebagai landasan normatif untuk membangun sikap inklusif dan harmonis antarmazhab. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan analisis teks Al-Qur’an dan literatur terkait yang mendukung pemahaman tasamuh dan ta’ayush dalam konteks teologi Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi kedua konsep tersebut sangat penting untuk mengurangi sikap fanatisme yang berlebihan dan memperkuat ukhuwah Islamiyah. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar para ulama, pendidik, dan pemimpin umat mengedepankan nilai-nilai tasamuh dan ta’ayush dalam dakwah dan pendidikan keagamaan guna menciptakan masyarakat Islam yang lebih inklusif, damai, dan bersatu. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan pemikiran keislaman yang moderat dan toleran.
