Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis Quasi Eksperimental desain Pretest postest Control Grup Design. Penelitian ini membandingkan kelompok yang mendapat perlakuan (kelas eksperimen) dan kelompok yang tidak mendapat perlakuan (kelas kontrol). Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kelas IV SDN 106184 Sekip Lubuk Pakam. Jenis sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah Cluster Random Sampling. Pada penelitian ini sampel yang peneliti gunakan berjumlah 49 peserta didik, dengan penjabaran 28 peserta didik kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model pembelajaran TGT (Team Game Tournament), sedangkan 21 peserta didik kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa tes dan observasi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan dilanjutkan dengan uji t independent sample t test menggunakan bantuan software spss. Untuk melihat peningkatan data hasil belajar peneliti menggunkan N-Gain ternormalisasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran TGT (Team Game Tournament) berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen (pembelajaran TGT) dengan peserta didik di kelas kontrol (pembelajaran langsung). Pada kelas eksperimen yang mendapatkan kategori tinggi berjumlah 1 peserta didik, untuk yang mendapatkan kategori sedang berjumlah 19 peserta didik untuk peserta didik yang mendapat kategori rendah berjumlah 7 peserta didik dan untuk yang mendapatkan kategori tetap berjumlah 1 peserta didik. Sedangkan untuk hasil N-Gain kelas kontrol yang mendapatkan kategori sedang berjumlah 14 peserta didik dan yang mendapatkan kategori rendah berjumlah 7. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model TGT (Team Game Tournament) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pelajaran matematika SD. This research is a quantitative research type of Quasi Experimental Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. This study compared groups that received treatment (experimental class) and groups that did not receive treatment (control class). The population in this study was all class IV students at SDN 106184 Sekip Lubuk Pakam. The type of sample taken in this research was Cluster Random Sampling. In this study, the sample used by researchers was 49 students, with the description being that 28 experimental class students applied the TGT (Team Game Tournament) learning model, while 21 control class students used the direct learning model. Data collection techniques in this research are tests and observations. The data analysis technique in this research uses the normality test, homogeneity test and continues with the independent sample t test using the help of SPSS software. To see the increase in learning outcomes data, researchers used normalized N-Gain. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the TGT (Team Game Tournament) learning model influences student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the research results which show a significant difference between the increase in learning outcomes of students in the experimental class (TGT learning) and students in the control class (direct learning). In the experimental class, there was 1 student in the high category, 19 students in the medium category, 7 students in the low category, and 1 student in the fixed category. Meanwhile, for the N-Gain results of the control class, 14 students got the medium category and 7 students got the low category. So it can be concluded that the application of the TGT (Team Game Tournament) model can improve student learning outcomes in elementary school mathematics lessons.

Abstract

This study investigated the effect of the Think Pair and Share cooperative learning model on the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at Marindal II Elementary School, North Sumatra. The research, using an experimental method, involved 53 students divided into two groups: the experimental group applied the Think Pair and Share model, while the control group used conventional methods. Data were collected through pretest and posttest scores, as well as non-test observations, including teacher performance and student activity. Results showed that the experimental group achieved higher learning outcomes, with an average score of 84.40, compared to 69.46 in the control group. The study concluded that the Think Pair and Share model significantly improved student science learning outcomes. It is recommended that this model be adopted by teachers to enhance student engagement and performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to address the low learning outcomes in science education for fourth-grade students at MIS Aisyiyah Elementary School, North Sumatra, where teaching tends to be teacher-centered. To remedy this issue, the Think Pair and Share cooperative learning model was implemented. An experimental research method was employed, involving 53 students divided into two groups. The experimental group used the Think Pair and Share model, while the control group applied conventional teaching methods. Data were collected through both test-based measures (pretest and posttest) and non-test observations, including teacher performance and student activity during the learning process. The results revealed a significant improvement in the experimental group, with an average score of 84.40, compared to 69.46 in the control group. It can be concluded that the implementation of the Think Pair and Share cooperative learning model positively impacts science learning outcomes for fourth-grade students. It is recommended that teachers adopt this model to enhance the effectiveness of science education in similar contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) cooperative learning model on the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at IRA Elementary School. The research question focused on whether the application of TPS could improve student performance compared to conventional teaching methods. The experimental research design involved 53 students, divided into two groups: one group applied the TPS model, and the control group used traditional teaching methods. The data collection included both test results (pretest and posttest) and non-test data, such as teacher observations and student participation. The findings revealed that the average score for students in the experimental group was 84.40, significantly higher than the 69.46 average in the control group. The statistical analysis showed that TPS positively impacted student learning outcomes. Based on these results, it is suggested that teachers adopt the Think-Pair-Share model to enhance science learning among elementary students.

Abstract

Guru sebagai komponen utama dalam proses pembelajaran memegang peranan penting. Fokus masalah yang diteliti dalam skripsi ini adalah: (1) Bagaimana peran guru sebagai pendidik dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan peserta didik di MI Swasta Annur Kecamatan Pagar Merbau? dan (2) Bagaimana peran guru sebagai motivator dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan peserta didik di MI Swasta Annur Kecamatan Pagar Merbau? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana peran guru sebagai pendidik dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan peserta didik di MI Swasta Annur Kecamatan Pagar Merbau dan (2) Untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana peran guru sebagai pendidik dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan peserta didik. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif, dengan keabsahan data menggunakan Triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan (1) Peran guru sebagai pendidik dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan peserta didik di MI Swasta Annur Kecamatan Pagar Merbau, guru melakukan langkah-langkah dengan cara mengembangkan kepribadian dan membina budi pekerti siswa, sehingga dengan langkah-langkah yang telah dilakukan, peran guru sebagai pendidik telah mampu meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa (2) Peran guru sebagai motivator dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa dilakukan dengan selalu memberikan motivasi kepada siswa agar selalu berdisiplin.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar masih menggunakan metode konvensional sehingga minat dan kemampuan siswa belum optimal. Minat sangat penting bagi siswa untuk menumbuhkan semangat dan kemauan untuk belajar, begitu juga dengan kemampuan siswa dalam matematika, salah satunya yaitu kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Metode Guided Discovery Learning dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu metode pembelajaran alternatif untuk mengoptimalkan minat dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan metode Guided Discovery Learning dan mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan minat dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa pada materi bilangan pecahan, antara pembelajaran yang menggunakan metode Guided Discovery Learning, dan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain quasi experimental design berbentuk nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas IV SDN 104212 Patumbak. Populasi yang digunakan sebanyak 72 siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh, sehingga semua populasi dilibatkan untuk dijadikan sampel penelitian. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut : (1) meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswi pada siswa kelas V SDN 104271 Simpang Tiga Pekan, (2) untuk mengetahui upaya meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa dengan menggunakan media audio visual kelas VSDN 104271 Simpang Tiga Pekan Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa V SDN 104271 Simpang Tiga Pekan yang berjumlah 28 siswa, terdiri dari 14 siswa laki-laki dan 14 siswa perempuan. Peneliti menggunakan metode karyawisata. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus tindakan. Pada siklus pertama dan siklus kedua dilakukan dalam satu kali pertemuan. Pada setiap siklus terdapat kegiatan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refkleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian siklus I menunjukkan bahwa persentase siswa yang nilainya diatas KKM baru mencapai 64,3 %, sehingga masih belum dapat mencapai kriteria keberhasilan penelitian. Pada siklus II, persentase nilai siswa yang diatas KKM meningkat menjadi 89,3 %. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat diketahui bahwa metode karya wisata mampu meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi.

Abstract

This study employed an experimental design involving two groups: an experimental group taught using picture puzzle games and a control group taught using conventional methods. The research aimed to examine the effect of picture puzzle games on the learning outcomes of second-grade students at SDN 104200 Karang Gading Village, Labuhan Deli. Data were analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, which revealed that the pretest and posttest scores for both the experimental and control groups were normally distributed. For the experimental group, the pretest value was 0.159, and the posttest value was 0.60 (both > 0.05), indicating normal distribution. Similarly, the control group's pretest value was 0.13, and the posttest value was 0.62 (both > 0.05). Hypothesis testing using Exact Sig. (2-tailed) showed a value of 0.000 (< 0.05), rejecting H0 and accepting H1, thus confirming the significant impact of picture puzzle games on learning outcomes. The feasibility test scored 80%, indicating good suitability for use as a learning medium. These results suggest that using picture puzzle games as a learning tool can enhance student engagement and improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the independent teaching platform in helping teachers understand the independent curriculum and identify the challenges they face. Specifically, the research focuses on the constraints and interest of teachers at SDN 104256 Rugemuk in using this platform. This descriptive research method collects and analyzes data to provide a comprehensive overview of the phenomenon. The findings reveal several challenges faced by teachers, including limited understanding, lack of experience with the platform, low interest in completing tasks, and poor time management. Despite these obstacles, efforts by the school principal, such as inviting mentors, forming teacher working groups, providing coaching, and supplying wifi, have positively impacted the implementation of the platform. As a result, the independent teaching platform has successfully fostered innovation, creativity, and professionalism among teachers at SDN 104256 Rugemuk.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of domino card learning media on student learning outcomes in the topic of plant structure and function for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 101928 Rantau Panjang and SD Negeri 101961 Timbang Deli. The research employs a quasi-experimental quantitative approach. It was conducted at SD Negeri 101961 Timbang Deli, involving two classes of 20 students each: an experimental class using domino card media and a control class without the media. Data collection was carried out through pretests and posttests to assess student performance. The results showed that the experimental class, which utilized domino card media, achieved the highest score of 92, whereas the control class attained a highest score of 88. These findings indicate that the use of domino card learning media positively impacted the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 101961 Timbang Deli.
