Abstract

Berdasarkan data yang diambil dari tempat pembuangan akhir menunjukkan bahwa jumlah sampah pada tahun 2017 sebanyak 406.22 m3/hari, tahun 2018 sebanyak 380.56 m3/hari dan tahun 2019 sebanyak 450.86 m3/hari. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan, sikap, fasilitas terhadap perilaku penanganan sampah rumah tangga di wilayah pesisir Desa Pencado Kecamatan Taliabu Selatan Kabupaten Pulau Taliabu. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional Study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 290 orang, dan jumlah sampel 74 responden dengan ara Proportional Random Sampling. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan berhubungan lemah dengan perilaku penanganan sampah diperoleh nilai X2hitung=6,653 > X2tabel (2,706) nilai phi = 0,300, sikap berhubungan sedang dengan perilaku penanganan sampah diperoleh nilai X2 hitung = 13,180 > X2 tabel (2,706) nilai phi 0,422, fasilitas mempunyai hubungan sedang dengan perilaku penanganan sampah, diperoleh nilai X2 hitung = 15,662 > X2 tabel (2,706), nilai phi 0,460. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah hubungan, sikap, fasilitas memiliki hubungan dengan perilaku penanganan sampah dan saran penelitian ini adalah melaksa penyuluhan penanganan sampah dan masyarakat perlu meningkatkan kepedulian terhadap sampah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat produk pengembangan media diorama yang dapat digunakan dan berguna. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (R&D). Dalam penelitian ini, model pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE, yang terdiri dari lima tahap: analisis, desain, pengembangan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Siswa kelas V SDN 140 Palembang adalah subjek penelitian ini. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari dua angket validasi dan tanggapan siswa. Kriteria validitas didapatkan dari validator yang menilai tampilan media, penyajian materi, dan penggunaan bahasa. Angket validasi tim ahli menerima skor presentase 91,6% dengan kriteria sangat valid, dan angket tanggapan siswa menerima skor presentase 89,6% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Dengan demikian, temuan peneliti menunjukkan bahwa media diorama yang dibuat sudah memenuhi persyaratan yang sah dan praktis.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze power, persuasion, and consumer identity McDonald's advertisements in terms of critical discourse analysis techniques. Research focus on persuasiveness has been popular for a long time, studied as the art of speaking and features of rhetoric. Linguists have never stopped in their quest to find out what linguistic elements create persuasive effects and impact human brains to convince people about something. The research aimed by applying CDA to this advertisement, research seeks to uncover how McDonald's uses discourse as a tool for ideological persuasion and how it constructs a consumer identity aligned with contemporary values of individualism and freedom of choice. This study adopts a qualitative research design to analyze McDonald’s "Self-Control, Who?" advertisement using Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). Data for this analysis was collected directly from McDonald's "Self-Control, Who?" advertisement, which was selected based on its relevance and representativeness of the brand's broader advertising strategy. The results of the study show that McDonald's "Self-Control, Who?" advertisement is not just about selling a product—it is a tool for promoting a lifestyle and set of values that prioritize immediate pleasure, convenience, and individual choice. By analyzing this ad through Fairclough’s CDA framework, we uncover how such advertisements play a significant role in constructing ideologies, reinforcing power relations, and shaping the cultural landscape of modern consumerism

Abstract

The development of Student Worksheets (LKPD) with the help of mentimeter on flat shape material for class V SD Negeri 1 Banyuasin 1, has the aim of being able to produce LKPD on flat shape material with the help of mentimeter which is valid, practical and has potential effects for class V students of SD Negeri 1 Banyuasin1. The type of research used by researchers in developing this LKPD is research and development, development refers to the ADDIE model which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were elementary VA class students at SD Negeri 1 Banyuasin 1. Data collection techniques used in the research were interviews, questionnaires, tests and documentation. based on the results of research by validator experts from three fields, namely media, material, language, the developed LKPD media obtained a validity level of 91.51%, from media experts who were categorized as "Very Valid", 90.25% from material experts who were categorized as "Very Valid" , 92.38% of language experts were categorized as "Very Valid" so that the Mentimeter-assisted LKPD was categorized as very valid with revisions. Then the practicality test of the one to one student questionnaire test obtained a result of 92.69% categorized as "very practical", then the small group trial obtained a result of 93.6% categorized as "very practical" so that both obtained a result of 93.1 % "very practical". And the final test of the potential effect test obtained a result of 97.09% categorized as "very effective".

Abstract

This study aims to produce valid and practical PISA-based numerical problems in the context of the pandemic period and to find out the role of the questions in the form of potential effects on the mathematical literacy skills of secondary school students. This research uses developmental research design, which has 2 stages, namely preliminary and formative evaluation (self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one and small group validation, and field test). The participants in this study were students in Grade 8 who were under the age of 15 and different levels of skills. Data analysis was done descriptively by conducting observations, tests, interviews, and document analysis. The research was conducted face-to-face and via Zoom and WhatsApp Group (WAG) to produce valid and practical PISA-like arithmetic questions. Based on the students' responses, it can be stated that the questions presented are in the practical category because they can be completed quickly by students, they can be understood well by students, and they have the potential effect on students' mathematical literacy skills. In addition, there is a diversity of answers between one student and another according to the level of difficulty that is appropriate for Grade 8 students. This proves that a PISA-like numeration problem in the context of the religious day during a pandemic can help improve students' mathematical literacy.DOI : https://doi.org/10.22342/jpm.16.2.16010.157-170

Abstract

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed malignancy among women worldwide and a leading cause of cancer-related mortality, primarily due to its high metastatic potential. One mechanism underlying metastasis is the epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT), which enhances cancer cell mobility, invasiveness, and resistance to treatment. Vimentin, a type III intermediate filament protein, is a hallmark of EMT and plays a structural and regulatory role in cytoskeletal organization and cellular stress responses. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of a single cysteine residue at position 328 (C328) in vimentin, which functions as a redox-sensitive site influencing filament dynamics. However, the role of C328 in cancer progression remained largely unexplored. This literature review investigates the effect of a single amino acid substitution—C328 to serine (C328S)—on breast cancer cell behavior, focusing on findings published between 2020 and 2025, sourced from PubMed and Google Scholar. Evidence from MCF-7 breast cancer cell models reveals that expression of C328S-VIM induces morphological changes, cytoskeletal disorganization, and increased proliferation, migration, and invasion. Notably, C328S-VIM upregulates the long non-coding RNA XIST, which promotes EMT, estrogen independence, and stem-like properties. These findings indicate that the native C328 residue serves a tumor-suppressive function, partly through modulation of XIST activity. Overall, this review presents a novel insight into how a single amino acid mutation in vimentin can reprogram breast cancer cells toward a more aggressive and stem-like phenotype. The study highlights C328 as a potential therapeutic target and broadens our understanding of the molecular mechanisms driving breast cancer progression.

Abstract

Fraction puzzle media is one type of mathematics learning media. The problems in this study are: 1) How valid is puzzle learning media for fraction material in fourth grade elementary school? 2) How practical is puzzle learning media for fraction material in fourth grade elementary school? 3) How effective is puzzle learning media for fraction material in fourth grade elementary school? In this study, the type of research used is development research (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. In this study, the validation techniques used are expert validation of media, material, and language. The data analysis technique in this study is from each data collected, consisting of analysis of the results of expert validation. This study yielded results from expert validation of media, content, and language, achieving a percentage of 93.33%, which is categorized as highly valid. From the practicality aspect, the results of the One-to-One pilot test questionnaire achieved a percentage of 93.33%, categorized as highly practical, and the Small Group pilot test achieved a percentage of 93.34%, also categorized as highly practical.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the math bingo educational game on themultiplication material of grade V students of SD Negeri 02 Payaraman. This studywas conducted using a quantitative experimental method, the research designused was a quasi-experiment in the form of a nonequivalent control group design.The test consisted of 10 essay questions. The population of this study was allgrade V students of SD Negeri 02 Payaraman. The sample in this study was classV.A as the experimental class and class V.B as the control class. The sample inthis study used a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques usedwere observation, test methods, and documentation. Data analysis used normalitytests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The software used is SPSS 26.From the results of the data processing, the researcher obtained a sig value (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05, and a calculated t value = 4.354 > t table = 1.683. Inaccordance with the requirements of the hypothesis test, Ho is rejected and Ha isaccepted. This shows that there is an influence of the math bingo educationalgame on the multiplication material of grade V students of SD Nelgelri 02Payaraman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media manipulatif terhadap kemampuan numerasi siswa pada mata Pelajaran matematika kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Populasi penelitian ini ialah seluruh siswa kelas III SD N 77 Palembang sebanyak 46 Siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan takhnik sampling jenuh sehingga kelas IIIA yang berjumlah 25 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IIIB yang berjumlah 21 siswa sebagai kelas control. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen menggunakan media manipulatif dengan model quasi experimental design. Tekhnik analisis data yang digunakan ialah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis, pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji independent sample t-test dengan bantuan program SPSS 26. Hasil perhitungan dan analisis data diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil posttest kelas kontrol 66.67 dan untuk nilai eskperimen diperoleh 78.00. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji independent sample t-test menunjukka nilai sig. sebesar 0,005 dengan nilai > 0,05 Sehingga 0,005 < 0,05 Maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas yang menggunakan metode manipulatif dengan pembelajaran yang konvensional

Abstract

This Development research aims to produce valid and practical UNO learning media for grade IV Elementary School (SD) students. This Development research uses the Research and Development (R&D) type of research using the ADDIE Development model consisting of 5 stages, namely analysis (Analyze), planning (Design), Development (Development), implementation (Implementational), Evaluation (Evaluation). The results of the UNO media Development research on cube and block material are declared valid, this can be seen from the three media, material, and language experts who obtained an average score of Analysis, Design, Development Implementation, and Evaluation. The product that was tested for validity by the three validators obtained an average score of 88.03% with the criteria "Very Valid". The product that was tested for practicality by one to one, small group, and large group obtained an average score of 93.69% with the criteria "Very Practical". The product that was tested for effectiveness by grade IV C students obtained a score of 78.57% with the criteria "Effective".
