Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana komunikasi interpersonal yang terjadi dalam sesi live streaming di TikTok dapat memengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah pada akun TikTok @bestchoicebyme yang dikenal dengan gaya komunikasi host yang aktif, interaktif, dan menghibur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi live streaming, dokumentasi data kinerja akun, dan telaah pustaka yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal—baik verbal maupun nonverbal—memiliki peran penting dalam membangun kepercayaan, kedekatan emosional, dan keterlibatan audiens, yang secara langsung berdampak pada peningkatan minat beli. Host yang mampu menyampaikan informasi produk dengan gaya narasi yang empatik, menggunakan bahasa yang personal, dan merespons audiens dengan cepat terbukti lebih efektif dalam mendorong keputusan pembelian. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan kajian komunikasi pemasaran digital dan menjadi acuan praktis bagi pelaku usaha dan kreator konten dalam memaksimalkan potensi live streaming sebagai strategi promosi berbasis hubungan interpersonal.

Abstract

Now the world is changing rapidly, especially after Covid 19, the world is experiencing The Great Reset (large scale changes) resulting in disruption. As a result of this, many institutions, institutions and companies have closed down because they are not ready to face these changing times. Because of the importance of this problem, in this paper we try to highlight a holding company that has successfully carried out the process of changing this era, namely the Djarum Group. In this case the problem raised is what factors play a role in the successful adaptation of PT's marketing strategy. Djarum (Djarum Group) through Cultural Shift? This paper uses the literature study method using the Djarum Group case study with a descriptive qualitative paradigm approach.  From the description it was found that the factors that played a role in the successful adaptation of PT's marketing strategy. Djarum (Djarum Group) through Cultural Shift is a strong and visionary leadership factor of two brothers, namely the Hartono Brothers who are the heirs to the founders of PT Djarum, where they have both succeeded in realizing the vision and mission of their parents when founding PT. Djarum even goes beyond this by providing a touch of innovation and sophisticated production technology. Making the Djarum Group a global company that is world-famous and the Hartono brothers are always listed as the richest people in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the latest trends in digital advertising and measure the effectiveness of video content and social media in increasing engagement, conversion, brand awareness, and customer loyalty. This research utilizes a quantitative study design with a cross-sectional survey to collect data from social media-active consumers exposed to video advertisements. Data analysis used descriptive and inferential statistical techniques to test the relationship between these variables. The findings showed that video content is highly effective in attracting attention and maintaining consumer interest longer than text or static images. The video also allows for more complex and emotional messaging. Social media facilitates two-way interaction between brands and consumers, strengthening relationships and increasing customer loyalty. Integrating video content with social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok significantly increases engagement and conversion. Personalization of ads through artificial intelligence (AI) technology has also been shown to increase campaign relevance and effectiveness. This research contributes to the digital advertising literature by demonstrating the importance of integrating video and social media content and using AI technology for personalization. The findings offer practical guidance for advertisers to improve the effectiveness of their campaigns. However, this study has limitations in sample coverage and quantitative analysis focus. Future research should expand the sample and incorporate qualitative approaches to gain more comprehensive insights.

Abstract

The problem of drug abuse is truly disturbing for the government and society throughout Indonesia. Every year the prevalence rate of drug abuse always increases. Efforts are needed to eradicate the distribution and use of drugs in society. One of the efforts is a social and medical rehabilitation program for drug addicts. The success of the rehabilitation program must be supported by professional social support sources, namely addiction counselors and non-professional sources, namely the family. Various forms of social support provided by addiction counselors and families really help restore the physical and mental condition of drug addicts to become healthy and productive individuals again. The aim of this research is to find out and explore the forms of social support provided by addiction counselors and families in the rehabilitation program for drug addicts at the Doulos Batu Recovery Center. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Meanwhile, the research informants were 2 addiction counselors and 2 clients/residents. The research results show that social support in the form of emotional support, tangible or instrumental support, informational support, and companionship support can restore clients' social capabilities and social responsibility so that they can return to being healthy and productive humans.

Abstract

This study conducts a Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) on the portrayal of women politicians during the 2024 election, examining how they are represented and the influence of these discourses on their political participation and public perception. Through the literature review, it becomes evident that female politicians frequently encounter gender stereotypes and biases in media and public discourse. Using the CDA methodology, this study examines articles, interviews, and comments from prominent news outlets and social media platforms that discuss women politicians. The findings suggest a tendency to place greater emphasis on women's physical appearance, personality traits, and domestic responsibilities in comparison to men. Discussions of this nature have the potential to undermine the political prowess of women and hinder their participation in the political sphere. The study emphasizes the significance of fostering equitable and impartial conversations on female politicians. It advocates for the media and society to transcend gender stereotypes and promote more political participation of women.

Abstract

This paper analyzed the closing statements of three presidential candidates in Indonesia: Anies Baswedan, Prabowo Subianto, and Ganjar Pranowo. Through a comparative qualitative examination, communication strategies and leadership qualities were evaluated. The objective of this study is to identify the key themes and rhetorical strategies employed by Anies Baswedan, Prabowo Subianto and Ganjar Pranowo in their closing statements; and second, to assess the effectiveness of these strategies in conveying leadership qualities and policy priorities to the electorate. The closing statements of the candidates were transcribed verbatim from recorded debate session. The primary instrument used for data collection was audio/video recordings of the final presidential debate. In conclusion, effective communication played a pivotal role in shaping public perception and influencing electoral outcomes by understanding the nuances of each candidate's rhetorical strategies, future research can provide valuable insights for political communication and leadership in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of job satisfaction on employee performance and the role of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) values as a moderating variable at UNUSA. Using a quantitative approach and a questionnaire distributed to 84 permanent employees, the findings reveal that job satisfaction significantly enhances employee performance, particularly through aspects such as work environment, compensation, leadership, and career development. Although NU values do not statistically moderate the relationship, values such as tawassuth (moderation), tawazun (balance), tasamuh (tolerance), and i’tidal (justice) show a strong correlation with job satisfaction and contribute to creating a harmonious and fair work culture. The average scores of respondent perceptions indicate positive results, supporting the importance of integrating NU values into organizational practices. This study recommends strengthening managerial strategies related to job satisfaction and reinforcing the internalization of NU values.
