Abstract

The density test for soil in the laboratory can be a mild density test (standard proctor) and a modified density test (modification proctor). Both types of compaction provide different levels of density. This paper aims to analyze the energy produced by both types of compaction. The results show that the compaction modification energy is greater than the standard compaction energy. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh parkir di badan jalan (on-street parking) di jalan Sultan Thaha Kota Jambi. Selain itu, juga untuk mengetahui besarnya penurunan tingkat kinerja jalan akibat kegiatan on-street parking di jalan tersebut. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah survei lalu-lintas berupa survei arus lalu-lintas dan survei waktu tempuh kendaraan. Kondisi yang ditinjau dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas dua segmen. Segmen pertama adalah segmen jalan dengan kondisi jalan tanpa adanya kendaraan parkir dibadan jalan. Segmen kedua adalah bagian segmen jalan dengan kondisi terdapat kendaraan parkir diatas badan jalan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh terhadap kinerja jalan dengan menganalisa kecepatan, volume dan kepadatan.

Abstract

The mixture of asphalt sand or often called as LATASIR (a thin Layer of asphalt Sand) is often used on the streets as light as local roads or road environment, in order to restrain the rate of water so as not to enter into pores in it. This mixture consists only of fine aggregate or sand or a mixture of both, so of coarse aggregate is not found in its alloy, so have the resilience of the Groove (rutting) are low and cannot be used on roads with heavy traffic or the area slopes. To improve the quality of asphalt mixture Latasir then do the addition of waste tire rubber out of the motor. This research was conducted with the marshall test asphalt plan levels, with 7%, 8%, 9%, 10% and 11% in advance. After obtained the value levels of Optimum Asphalt (KAO), then do the test with the addition of marshall rubber tyres outside the motor of 1%, 2%, 3%, 4% and 5% against weight. The research results obtained a value of 9.8%, KAO then conducted testing of marshall by using a variation of the rubber tyres outside the motor changes characteristic of Marshall, the degree of suppleness and durability is better, but there is a cavity the air that many great VIM or value, so that the value of the VFA became small. From all levels of rubber in asphalt has a great degree of flexibility in rubber 3%, but that filled the whole terms of the 2010 revision 3 technical specifications on levels of 1.5% rubber.Keywords: Latasir Mixture, KAO, Waste Rubber Tyres Outside Motor, Marshall

Abstract

Permasalahan yang terjadi pada sistim drainase Kecamatan Jambi Timur yaitu setiap tahunnya selalu tergenang air, khususnya pada musim penghujan. Pada sejumlah saluran drainase, begitu hujan besar terjadi air meluap keluar dan menggenangi ruas jalan. Faktor yang mempengaruhi daya tampung air tersebut, salah satunya adalah banyak saluran yang sudah menebal endapan lumpurnya.Dalam analisa curah hujan untuk menentukan debit banjir rencana, data curah hujan yang dipergunakan adalah curah hujan maksimum tahunan (Annual Maximum Series). Untuk perhitungan curah hujan rencana, digunakan Metode Distribusi Normal, Distribusi Log Normal, Distribusi Log–Pearson III dan Distribusi Gumbel. Untuk  hujanyang terjadi selama 5 menit sampai 2 jam, persamaan intensitas durasi hujan menggunakan Rumus Talbot, Ishiguro, dan Sherman. Luas area daerah tangkapan (Catchment Area) didapat dengan menggunakan Software Global Mapper 12 berdasarkan data Digital Elevation Model SRTM_57_13. Penggunaan Metode Rasional pada daerah pengaliran dengan beberapa sub daerah pengaliran dapat dilakukan dengan pendekatan nilai C gabungan atau C rata–rata. Adapun rumusan perhitungan debit rencana menggunakan Metode Rasional. Nilai debit rencana akan dibandingkan dengan nilai debit kapasitas yang telah dianalisa berdasarkan analisis hidrologi dan hidrolika. Jika nilai Debit Kapasitas (Qsaluran) lebih kecil dari nilai Debit Rencana (Qrencana), maka dilakukan dimensi ulang saluran drainase.

Abstract

Pedestrian facilities are often overlooked. Whereas pedestrians include elements of traffic flow that need attention, especially in dense urban areas will be vehicles. The purpose of this research is to know the benefits of the Pedestrian Overpass (JPO) in Jalan Sultan Thaha near WTC Mall of Jambi City. The research conducted is to survey JPO users during peak hours and busy days and compare to the traffic in the research area. The results of the study assessed the suitability of the ferry facilities to the existing requirements and to recommend appropriate facilities can be calculated from the highest crossing volume (P) and vehicle volume (V) at peak hours ie P = 325 pedestrians /hour, V = 2610.75 vehicles./hour. Based on the recommendation of choosing a road crossing facility, it can be concluded that the recommended facilities are Zebra Cross (ZC) crossing facilities and it is not feasible to use JPO. From the percentage data of population growth in the estimation of the number of people who will use pedestrian overpass, it will work at 8 years 3 months ahead. Abstract

Theoretically outlined, Employee Performance can be influenced by several variables including Leadership Style, Placement, and Work Motivation. Therefore, the performance of employees at the General Bureau of Setda Jambi Province can also be attributed to these three variables, this is what inspired the authors to conduct the research. Research objectives: 1. To find out the description of leadership style, placement,, motivation, and performance of Employees in the General Bureau of Setda Jambi Province, 2. To know the direct and indirect influence of leadership style and placement on the work motivation of employees in the General Bureau of Setda Jambi Province, 3. To know the direct and indirect influence of leadership style and placement on the performance of Employees in the General Bureau of Setda Jambi Province, 4. To know the influence of leadership style and placement through work motivation on Kinerja Employees in The General Bureau of Setda Jambi Province. This research that became the object of the research was employees of the General Bureau of Setda Jambi Province with a population of 130 people who were used as a research sample. Analysis techniques using Path Analysis tool using SPSS 22 software. The results showed that: 1. Leadership style, placement, motivation and employee performance are in good condition, 2. Leadership and placement styles directly and indirectly affect employee motivation, 3. Leadership and placement styles directly and indirectly affect employee performance, 4. Leadership and placement styles through motivation directly and indirectly affect performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to obtain an overview of the assessment of work performance, compensation, work motivation and employee performance at PT. BCA Tbk KCU Jambi; and to know the effect of work performance assessment and compensation directly and indirectly on employee motivation and performance; and to know the influence of motivation on performance. The population in this study was employees at PT. Bca. Tbk KCU Jambi with a total of 125 employees. The size or number of samples in this study was determined based on the theory developed by Slovin with a value of e = 10%, so that 56 samples were obtained. Analysis techniques use path analysis to see direct and indirect influence, and continued by testing R Square and hypothesis testing partially and simultaneously with t test and F test. Where based on the results of t test (partial) and test F (Simultaneous) shows that the assessment of work performance and compensation has a significant and positive influence on motivation and performance, as well as motivation also has a significant and positive influence on performance. This explains that if the assessment of work performance and compensation can be carried out properly, it will have a positive influence in improving the motivation of work that has implications for improving employee performance at PT. BCA Tbk KCU Jambi. Based on some of the conclusions obtained, the suggestions that can be given in this study include the future expected leadership of PT. Bank Central Asia. Tbk Jambi Main Branch Office can carry out performance assessments carried out objectively. In addition, this research needs to be followed up again to see what factors can affect employee performance comprehensively, in order to answer other factors (epsilon) that affect employee performance.

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic occurred in all fields including public services in Jambi Province since March 2020 until now. Licensing and non-licensing services are forced to be limited and closed to several agencies, including the Jambi Province Investment and Integrated Services Office (DPM-PTSP), performing online services is preferred to make it easier for people to get access to public services. Community Satisfaction Index research on the services of the Jambi Province Investment and Integrated Services Office is carried out by survey methods supported by quantitative descriptive analysis. The survey method is used to determine the level of user satisfaction of DPMPTSP services in Jambi Province in 2021. The community satisfaction index (IKM) in the Licensing Unit Service of the Investment Office and One-Door Integrated Services of Jambi Province in the first semester of 2020 was worth 90,278 for the value of IKM after being converted. The amount of the IKM value indicates that the quality of service is still at level A and the performance of the DPM-PTSP licensing service unit of Jambi Province is very good.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the effect of compensation and organizational culture either partially or jointly on performace experts at consulting services firm in the province of Jambi. The population in this reseach totalled of 532 people expert at consulting service firm in the of Jambi. The method used in this reseach is a descriptive survey method and sample survey with the spread of eksplanatori at least for three variables as much as 200 respondents. Based on the result of the hypothesis, thought to compensation and organizational culture partially or jointly affect performance experts. The result that explains, the competence variable on the performance of expert is 0.48 and the organizational culture variable on the performance of expert 0.37 to the performance of experts. The effect of jointly compensation (KS) and organizational culture (BO) on the performance of expert (KA) is 0.6053?0.60 or is R = 0.60 magnitude influence with the influence of 60 %

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to obtain an overview of the leadership style, motivation, discipline, and performance of employees in the Office of Public Works and people's housing of Jambi province; And to know the influence of leadership styles on motivation, work discipline and performance; And to know the influence of leadership styles through motivation and work discipline toward performance. The population in this study was the Office of Public Works and people's housing of Jambi province, amounting to 286 employees. The size or number of samples in this study was determined based on the theory that Slovin developed with a margin error of 5% obtained as many as 75 people. Analytical techniques using the analysis path, are transmitted by testing R Square and partial and simultaneous hypothesis testing with T-Test and F-Test. Testing path of analysis carried out, obtained the results of the leadership style has an influence on the motivation, work discipline and performance of employees, motivation and work discipline also has an influence on both the performance and Simultaneously, and the leadership style has an influence on performance through motivation and work discipline. This explains that if an organization has a leader with a leadership style that is appropriate for its employees, this will affect the motivation, work discipline, and performance of its employees. Because the right leadership style has a very dominant role in determining the success of an organization, the right leadership style will be able to direct its employees to work optimally in achieving organizational objectives.
